Guys. You. Are. The. Best. Such clear instructions, such openness of sharing the art of yoga and all of that for free! I am running to patreon to buy you a coffee right now!
This awesome thank your for your posts and wealth of information. Bri's voice is so soothing and gentle. Congratulations on the expansion of your family. Once again thank you and many blessings for the both of you and your family☮️💚🕉🧘♀️
Great video :) I was never putting attenton to fact how wide my fingers go in this pose! :D Also, for begginers it's very important to find out what is main thing of each possition, especially for asanas that they aren't able to do 100%. And often I wonder what is the main purpose of each asana and what to change. Most of tutorials include perfect versions, whenever I change it to suit my body, I wonder if I still do it correct. Biggest problems I have with modification for pigeon pose, and (which may be weird) but uttanasana! When I bend knee and go down with my flow I always round my back a bit, then if I don't bend my knees I can't go completely down and my head/neck is never relaxed so anytime I do sun salutation I feel kinda incomplete :< This weekend I go for joga class so I will ask the teacher's opinion :)
Thanks for your comment! we have a lot more poses to come and cover, we will also include chair pose and pigeon pose. Ask your teacher for advice, i hope they know, and check back here for new videos. Thank you!
Good video, I think I’ve been doing the hyperextension thing because I was pushing my chest towards my quads too hard out of fear of rounding my back. Now my back hurts bad. I was creating the problem I was trying to prevent ☹️
This is a good description of the pose regarding safety for the shoulders and upper body- but it neglects the legs somewhat-- many people have nowhere near the flexibility in the calves to bring their heels anywhere near the ground so an obvious warm up before doing dog is some sort of calf stretch,,,, there are numerous calf stretch’s available…..
That is why we say bend the knees. The function of this pose is to open the shoulder and lengthen the back line. The opening of the shoulders should not be compromised only to bring the heels down. It’s more about ankle mobility and less about specific calf stretches, although they can for sure help. Thanks for sharing your opinion 🙏🏽
Since I am pushing out of my shoulders, does that mean I contract my shoulderblades or do I retract? Thats the missing puzzle for me. Thank you for your time!!
sorry we don't have the project available anymore and can't look up the song. in future videos we do our best to include the songs in the description 🙏❤️
*Everyone knows this pose but very little understand it fully. We hope this helps you get the most out of it!*
I support what some people have been saying: a series with tutorials like this on individual poses would be such a great idea.
Wonderful to have a tutorial per pose. Please, make it an easily identifiable series so we can refer to it easily anytime.
it's now added in the description of all the videos 🙏
Single pose explaination are great,,, pls add videos like this whenever u have time

My question is how do you make the transition from being unable to touch your heals to the floor to eventually being able to?

Awesome tutorial again. What is the music at the end of the video? Is it in one of your playlist?

How lang can i stay in Downward facing dog? I love the pose
As long as you wish, one breath or one hour 🤙
@@BreatheAndFlow i love the pose! I feel it gives me a lot. Imma try out 5 min tomorrow ❤️🔥
Thank you. 🙏💖
You are so welcome
Love it ...🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the love!
You might add here something about the shoulder blades/scapulas placement, please
By doing external rotation in the upper arms and pushing the ground away the scapula is covered too, as we say in the video.
Flo really stayed in downward dog for almost 4 minutes without shaking 😂
