Robert Pattinson & FKA Twigs comes to mind, fans traumatized that woman. It's not just any misogyny, it's *from* mostly women. I'm a very average person in every way yet even I've been assaulted - brutally (I have migraines that will likely be a lifelong struggle after fractures from being kicked in the head and face) by women just because a guy they were obsessed with hit on me, even though I just said no thanks and walked away... Note the plurality, it happened TWICE. I also dated a musician in a locally popular band and was not only threatened, but one fan made a fake account impersonating me and harassed my friends and family. So I shudder to imagine what it's like for women who dare to be with celebrities. Fans can't assault them physically, but they wage merciless psychological war until they win. The object of their psychotic obsession is single again (not that they ever really liked that bitch anyway! 😤) so they can continue with their delusion that someday... Somehow...... Meanwhile their victim is left with the mental wreckage. I don't understand them. I don't understand celebrity obsessions. I don't understand wanting to ruin relationships. I guess I'm a fucking pick-me, but I have trauma that led me to believe women are terrifying. I have a few close female friends who I know won't beat the shit out of me if I say hi to their husbands and that's enough for me.
These parasocial relationships are wild to me, especially with actors. Chris Evans led them to believe he was someone he wasn't? What do they think *acting* is?
It's not even about him being an actor, it's his personal life, he's not obligated to announce to the world who he's boinking and who he gives engagement rings to and thinking that you as a fan have a RIGHT to that information is wildly unhinged. Besides I have no interest in that information as the average Joe, I just wanna know if they are good at their roles, but I know I'm an outlier with my opinion.
@@Nataruma The thing that bothers me is that if you're a true fan, wouldn't you want him to be happy? If she makes him happy...then what's your problem? I don't get it. It's such a weird possessiveness fans have over celebs.
@@Nataruma I fully agree with the first part, but would have to slightly disagree with the last. If it comes out that a celebrity is harming others or bigoted in some way, idc how good of an actor/singer/etc they are, I'm not going to willingly support their work anymore. There's too much talent out there to be supportive of people like that.
Omg I just realized a lot of the criticism toward Timothee is kinda ageeist. Like.... it seems they hate that he looks... older. I mean, he is. It is a fact that as we near 30, even those that had a very young looking face start to look more "mature" (for lack of a better word). Like, my husband had a classic baby face. After we became parents, but especially after our 30s, he started to look his age. The thing is, I recall when this happened to NPH, Brad Pitt, and Clooney, and I think Matt Damon, too. Also, the misogyny of blaming a woman for a man looking older. Like women not allowed to age and neither can their partners apparently... wtf!?
I’m honestly surprised they’re being ageist towards a man. Typically it’s women who aren’t allowed to age. But the fact that they’re doing this means they’re only fans for him for his ‘youthful’ appearance, or whatever he looked in the last 4 years and whatnot. Meaning the moment his face matures they’ll hate it? Are you there for the actor or not? It’s strange as heck
This. I imagine this would be exactly what the discourse would have looked like if social media was around when Leonardo DiCaprio stopped looking "angelic".
I’m more uncomfortable with the fact Kylie looks older than my mom, who is in her 50’s. Like, that’s not normal for a woman to change that drastically naturally.
I had to pause the video at "some men seem incapable of having anything to offer women their age" I've never heard this discussed in a way that didn't devalue women as they age
I always found it was the most talked about point when it came to male celebs with younger female celebs, like with Leo Dicaprio. I'm of the opinion that you shouldn't infantilize a consensual relationship between adults, particularly adults past that fetishized 18~ period, but it is worth noting that men of a certain age tend to avoid women of the same age either because they're afraid of maturity or disgusted by their own age. Like the whole "showing that she was a toddler when he was mature" point is moot when they never met when she was that young, and she's older than he was in that picture. She's not some child unfit and unready to commit to someone if she chooses to, by 25 most people have been in a few relationships and have been engaging in sexual intercourse for around decade. People know this for themselves but then think a young woman's consent is meaningless if she gives it too freely by their standards.
@@billbill6094 exactly this! I am old enough that when Anna Nicole Smith, who was 26 at the time, married that 89 year old dude; my parents sat me down and explained to me about age gaps and told me that after I hit 25 I can be with anyone older no matter the gap, but that it centered on both being over 25, that was the cut-off then age didn't matter. If eirher person is below 25 then age matters.
@@billbill6094I totally agree and feel like there’s definitely nuance to be pointed out when it comes to age gap relationships where the younger party is 25 or less, (25 being the age at which the decision making and long term planning parts of your brain are fully developed), specifically because of the power dynamics involved with an older famous actor consistently dating people under 25. I don’t think the younger person that consents to that relationship isn’t capable of consenting of course, but I do think that it can negatively reflect onto the older party that they chose somebody SO much younger and in a different stage of their life/career. I really like the way D’Angelo framed that behavioral pattern in Hollywood. It seems like celebs like that are exclusively attracted to people as young as they can legally date, they have nothing to offer people their own ages, or they somewhat enjoy the power imbalance that comes along with being a heavily established actor and 20 years older than their partner. I’d also like to clarify that I’m not talking about any specific celebrity, just broadly about celebs in Hollywood that consistently date people that could be their children or grandchildren on the age difference front.
Jenny Slate talked about how hard it was to be in a relationship with Chris Evans because of his 'fans.' They called her ugly, questioned why Chris Evans would find her attractive, and a multitude of vile things. She stated it was one of the reasons they split, even though they both loved each other deeply.
For example, my beautiful age appropriate wives Miguel O'Hara, Wolverine and Leon S Kennedy, would never date Kylie Jenner nor Chris Evans. They have taste and they only love me😌👉👈
im tiny (4’11") and wear colorful clothing so people always think im younger than i am, 31, but when i look at pics of me in college, wow has my face aged! i love it. i love being in 30s.
These fangirls are talking about Timothee like idol otaku talk about their oshi: like he's not allowed to date or do certain things because that makes him "tainted" in the eyes of his fans. He's only supposed to exist for their personal fantasies to be fulfilled. Gross.
@@MK-wc7sy As one myself, it's that element of "closeness" that people feel towards idols. The parasocial aspect. The feeling that you are the most special person in their lives even though you're really not? Even the non-delusional fans I have seen act this way sometimes. It's genuinely mind-boggling and it makes me wonder about their mental faculties. There's this Japanese boy band in which three of the members got into dating scandals last year. One of my Japanese friends ended up switching over to a different member when his bias was caught dating because he felt "betrayed" and "disappointed". The funny thing was that he wasn't even in the least bit romantically interested, like what could be commonly explained with a lot of female idol fans. But the culture of idol dating dictates that they shouldn't be doing it in the first place. It breaks people's "fantasy" or "image" of him. This member in particular has the image of a dedicated consummate professional, so being caught dating is seen as him breaking that image. Don't even get me started on how fans reacted to Kimura Takuya getting married to Shizuka Kudo. She's been on the "top hated female celebrities" in Japan for YEARS, and they already have two adult kids 😭😭😭 Not to mention some of these fans probably have families of their own, so like why?????
@@MK-wc7sy Because of loneliness in Japan. Extremely lonely and depressed people form parasocial relationships with idols, streamers, or celebrities online and it comes to a point where they're obsessed with that person and depend on them for their mental stability.
@@monbub but places in Europe like Greenland have one of the highest male suicide rate due to loneliness also places like Slovakia too yet this type of stuff doesn’t happen with their idols why is that tho
@@MK-wc7sy Japan's culture is very different from European countries' cultures. This shit is normalized in Japan and the media plays into it. I'd argue idols are manufactured to make people feel less lonely- as if the idol belongs to them. Idols always have to pretend like they love their fans, even if their fans cross their boundaries and are insanely disrespectful. It's really weird, look into idol culture for more details.
this is exactly how taylor swift fans talk about her on reddit man 😭😭 there is just something so insane and scary about fan culture thinking these sorts of comments and behaviors are just so normal online when they shouldn’t be
I'm not in any of her subreddits, but sometimes I get posts recommended to me from Taylor subreddits and it's about how she ruined Travis's life and I'm so confused because I thought these people would be her fans?!?
Yes all starts get harshly criticized when they hit 30 and it starts showing, Selena Miley Taylor Lady Gaga Britney every single one was trash talked as soon as they started naturally aging. The anti age culture is so dumb.
Ugh I am a huge fan of Taylor Swift's music but I can't tell people that lest I be lumped in with this kind of behaviour. It's deeply unsettling, the way they talk about her, in a way I can't quite explain - almost as if she belongs to them??
funny how his biggest “fans” don’t get him at all. He’s a white boy from nyc who loves rap and hip hop and consistently dates the children of famous actors and socialites, everything about this tracks 😂 now ngl when I heard he was dating kylie I did go “hm kind of an unexpected pairing, wonder what they have in common” and then moved on 2 seconds later. No wonder timmy doesn’t get on social media anymore.
Yup, they want to believe he is a certain way because he does "high brow" Oscar-bait films, but he has publicly shown himself as much of a himbo as most other rich white boys his age (and I don't say this like it's a bad thing necessarily) 😂. He has a history of dating rich nepo babies, how could his fans have been any level of surprised when he started dating Kylie?
Exactly what I thought too NGL. Kylie seems like an air head, but maybe she's not, maybe that's what he likes or maybe they both are... IDK and it's not my problem. Honestly forgot about them until this video LMAO 😂
If it's weird & funny, I can't lie, it's okay. But weird and creepy combinations? Do they need to objectify celebrities so they can live their day to day lives?
His Fans really think Timmy is some kind of soulful poet with a heart of butter lol. You saw one interview of him to know he is just some straight dude that knows how to act Calm down ladies
this is why we need more celebrities speaking out like Chappell Roan!! Not like they should have to but it’s clear that some people do not respect boundaries..
"Draining his life force, robbing him of his youth and effectively ending his career" sounds a whole lot like how people treated Courtney Love when she was with Kurt Cobain.
@@sashie253I don’t hate Yoko like some people but I will say watching her screech into a microphone while John was playing with chuck berry made me really dislike her 😂
Now I'm no big fan of Kylie Jenner and probably more of an outspoken hater of the Kardashian family, but this sounds a lot like the "burn the witch" rhetoric associated with Yoko Ono and Courtney Love. It's like his fans forget that he is a grown man who can think for himself and make his own decisions. It's also giving a lot of power to the idea that successful women are only successful because they manipulate or "bewitch" the successful men around them to boost their own position. Kylie Jenner is quite powerful yes, but the fanbase's theories are really putting down their big stan Timothee as a helpless little smolbean. Thinking that only the fans can save him by taking down a woman, because the only women allowed to have him are the ones who idolize him. They can't be happy form or his relationship with a seemingly healthy power balance. But I don't know what do you think professor?
I think that the fact that a lot of fandom culture around men involves babying them probably pushes this narrative even more that "he's just a little baby who's being taking advantage of and needs his fans to save him"
I actually saw some of the fans concluding that they’re both trash and perfect together and even if he were to break up, that history is gonna follow him anyway.

As a survivor of extreme bullying, it’s triggering and upsetting for me to see ANYONE be treated like this for absolutely no reason. The picking apart of his weight and appearance in particular is not only delusional but so incredibly out of line. They also have some weird gross joke going where they make fun of his DECEASED GRANDMA & HER appearance. This was my “hate” filled comment that got me banned “Y’all realize he’s getting older and no longer has that baby fat that made him look softer and prettier? He’s nearing 30 now. That’s no longer twink age. Look at him versus someone like Joe Locke. Joe Locke will also end up looking like this in 7 years. I hope y’all don’t age past 30 if this is causing such drama for y’all”
Lol, I go on that subreddit sometimes and was also banned for pretty much saying they need to get a life and stop obsessing over his age. I can't see anyone over the age of 17 wasting their energy over such ridiculous nonsense.

I never really bought into Chalamet, I think that he's perfectly fine as an actor but I missed the boat entirely on the feral energy people get for him. That said, I do find it hysterically funny that people are so outraged that the person they decided he was based on the work he was paid to do is running face-first into the fact that he *just isn't* that guy. I love it. In a way, it reminds me of how a segment of Harry Styles's fandom gets whenever the poor man does literally anything outside of the box they made for him in their own brains.
I went of his subreddit (Chalamet club or something like that) a few months ago, to see what his fans are talking about and that place seem like a hate-forum? They're not just nasty about Kylie but about him too? But like by proxi. They'd often talk about him being an idiot and deserving to fail because he won't break up with her. 25 yo living with their parents is normal in Europe. Well,I can't talk for every country in Europe but at least in Poland it's common. Also it seems that 'being a child' bar is getting raised or lowered in US depending what fits the narrative. 25 is still a child? Really? right? i just can't be mad at chris evans when leo dicaprio essentially picks off an entire population of young models and dane cooke was in his late 40s(?) grooming a 16 year old.
The being a child bar isn’t being raised or lowered lol that’s just these weird women grasping for any reason to condemn the relationship bc they’re jealous. A 25 yr old woman isn’t a child and her prefrontal cortex is fully developed. It probably seems like a child to older people BUT it’s not that gross for a grown man to date a 25 yr old. A 18/19 is most DEFINITELY gross and honestly a grown a** man in their 30s-40s shouldn’t even be dating a 20-24 yr old and they’ll be getting weird looks but it’s not as weird as a teenager. Depending on the age of the older person it can definitely be icky to be dating women in their 20s in general but at least with 25+ their brains are fully developed.

Yeah me too. The turning point for me was when I had an emotional reaction to Dan Harmon getting a divorce because I obsessively listened to his podcast. Even typing that out makes me cringe. Turns out I can still obsessively consume media without devolving into a parasocial weirdo convinced I could be someone's friend if we just met under the right circumstances. I can't wait to talk to D'Angelo about it when he finally notices me.
okay so here’s my theory: Timothee has had this public persona as an artsy sensitive boy. when he got with Kylee, that illusion was shattered by how pop trendy mainstream she is. here’s the thing: he’s been a backwards hat baggy sweatpants boy this whole time, but the fans thought he was indie. fans bought the image of him that was crafted by PR, and they👏🏻don’t👏🏻really👏🏻know👏🏻him👏🏻 we all need to touch grass and chill. let them live their lives and don’t be so weird about it.
I think a good term to describe the type of fan who simultaneously acts like an anti-fan you’re witnessing is “manti”. It’s short for “manager anti” and it’s essentially someone who feels that they know what’s best for their fav’s wellbeing, career and life more than their fav does. They are extremely resistant towards any changes in their fav’s career trajectory or life choices (for example a musician changing/experimenting with their sound). They are also typically hostile towards anything or, in this case, anyone who they perceive as being a threat to their fav’s image, an image that’s usually imagined (like Timothy’s “purity” and “sanctity” being corrupted by Kylie Jenner or whatever these people are on). These types of anti-fans are prone to making up mistreatment narratives in order to “protect” their fav and accuse other fans of being “not true fans” if they aren’t as -delusional- “concerned” as they are.

I feel like this is the result of their acute obsession losing its novelty. He literally just looks like he’s growing up. They’ll all move on to the next white boy of the week and the cycle will continue on.
I saw a thread on Reddit yesterday discussing this and it was truly beyond. People were posting side by side pictures claiming he's had a myriad of work done and I was squinting so hard to see any difference beyond the fact that he just looked a little tired in the new one.
Kinda feels to me like the "Kylie stalked and harassed him until he agreed to date her" is projecting on the part of the fans, who probably would like to do that to him. "She MUST have done that! It's what I would do!!" kind of vibes The discourse over his appearance is also incomprehensible to me for all the reasons in the video, and also because he's just not my type, so either way I'm like "this is just a guy lol"
its also how the photos they choose are always blurry screenshots of him making a weird face as opposed to him in different lighting, not smiling at all or making a face🤣

The thing is, fans see Timothee as some deep, romantic, misunderstood person. But he is just a man. Fans often have an "image" of who they want to be with their "idol". In his case this was someone with "natural" estetics and just a "manic pixie girl". Kylie Jenner, does not fit that image....like at all. But the thing is, that she is EXACTLY his type. All of his exes were similar to Kylie Jenner in looks and they all were nepo babies as well. She is exactly his type, this type just doesn't fit who their fans belive him to be.
Wondering if these fans are really just hoping they will have a romantic watpad run in with these celebrities which is less likely (in their fantasy) if they’re not single.
It is SO ironic that these (presumably women mostly) are judging him the way society has judged women for decades: looks grown, not like a teenager. Losing weight, gaining weight, star fading as a result. Have we learned nothing?!?

I just can't reach the level of nitpick the people romanticizing and mourning his facial features have reached. The only difference between those "pretty" and "ugly" pictures I can see when you discount how exceedingly different the lighting and expressions and picture quality's are is that he _maybe_ has a little more fat in his cheeks, like not even a 2% increase. But even that could just be an illusion from the fact that _his expressions and lighting and picture quality is different._ Just the type of lens someone uses can either make your cheekbones look really defined or flatten your face to look rounder, yet still his face looks super consistent to the "before" pictures.
Unrelated, but Timothée is one of the celebrities who scares me because they kind of look like they got the perfect face shape filter, where they stretch someones face out to fill it, but like permanently.
Is it just me who thinks also that he kinda just looks the same ? I see pretty much no difference in him in little women and him now like he’s still got the same hair style and everything ? I dunno to be honest it’s not that deep really and it shouldn’t matter what he does as long as it’s not criminal 💀
Ikr, he just looks a bit older. Also, people don't realize how much lightning and different camera focal lengths can make someone look. Either way his fans are hallucinating things cuz he really doesn't look that different.

Maybe there's discussion to be had, but at the end of the day, it's their life and they're not committing any crimes. Chris Evans has always struck me as a pretty decent guy, and honestly what young woman wouldn't want to marry a hot millionaire that isn't a complete creep?
I don't care about celebrities personal lives, but the Kardashians/Jenners are known for being shallow. So, I understand why dating her shatters people's image of him as this deep, poetic soul. He's not- he just has high cheekbones 😂 Wonka was truly awful tho can't be denied
When I heard K-Pop idols aren’t allowed to date because it would upset the fans, I thought that was insane. I honestly thought no fan would be that selfish and feel so entitled to a stranger’s love life. Clearly, I was wrong. I need some of these fans to sit down.
Technically, 'love bans' aren't an actual rule, but it's still pretty much the unwritten guideline of the industry. Like some of these idols are at the same age a lot of people are when they start getting married/having kids, but apparently, they're not allowed.
People like this make me want to drop everything, leave my life behind, move into nature and never use the internet again…. Good god touch some grass people
they have no genuine concern for the age gap because if there was the point of the discussion would be to cancel chris evans, not alba

FACTS!
tbh it's ironic because I've seen so much fanfiction with much younger women, and even teens, fantasizing about being with him
Fandoms being misogynistic towards a random woman who DARES to date the man they're fan of? Never heard of it
literally, so misogynistic every damn time 😭
And a bonus, racist too. Especially when the women their favs are dating is a black woman.

It makes me think he’s not even really captain america
@@Nataruma The thing that bothers me is that if you're a true fan, wouldn't you want him to be happy? If she makes him happy...then what's your problem? I don't get it. It's such a weird possessiveness fans have over celebs.
@@Nataruma I fully agree with the first part, but would have to slightly disagree with the last. If it comes out that a celebrity is harming others or bigoted in some way, idc how good of an actor/singer/etc they are, I'm not going to willingly support their work anymore. There's too much talent out there to be supportive of people like that.
@@dennistmennace true, no matter how people act talent is god- gifted. Some are like Micheal jackson. But i agree
Like women not allowed to age and neither can their partners apparently... wtf!?
Exactly what I was thinking
Agreed it's fully ageist and creepy af.
I had to pause the video at "some men seem incapable of having anything to offer women their age" I've never heard this discussed in a way that didn't devalue women as they age
W Angelo take. I hate when people slander the younger women or infantilize them
I always found it was the most talked about point when it came to male celebs with younger female celebs, like with Leo Dicaprio.

These fangirls are talking about Timothee like idol otaku talk about their oshi: like he's not allowed to date or do certain things because that makes him "tainted" in the eyes of his fans. He's only supposed to exist for their personal fantasies to be fulfilled. Gross.
Why is that normalized or even a thing to begin with in idol culture I don’t get it
@@MK-wc7sy As one myself, it's that element of "closeness" that people feel towards idols.

I think it’s cause I don’t have that feral energy for ANYONE
I went of his subreddit (Chalamet club or something like that) a few months ago, to see what his fans are talking about and that place seem like a hate-forum? They're not just nasty about Kylie but about him too? But like by proxi. They'd often talk about him being an idiot and deserving to fail because he won't break up with her. At somepoint it was unclear to me what they even liked about him, if they ever liked him at all.
@@yuzurucorner i want you to know that this type of comment is legitimate masked misogyny. this isn't in defense of these people's behavior, but like jeesh, your phrasing is yikes.

@@hnicholeI think that they’re assuming that most of his fanbase is made up of women. Which isnt too much of a stretch to make imo
Sour grapes. He did something they didn’t approve of so the only way to avoid admitting they’re wrong is to accuse him of breaking their rules for him. It was never about Timmy, it was always about them with Timmy just being a mental puppet
the fact that these "fans" call him Timmy gives me the ick. Its like they are infantalizing him, it's disturbing.
Theres a girl at my college with not one, but TWO tattoos of Timothee Chalamet’s face on each of her thighs, and then she has the word “timmy” tattooed on her finger.
Seriously? As....a joke...? Lost a bet...?
So weird

25 yo living with their parents is normal in Europe. Well,I can't talk for every country in Europe but at least in Poland it's common.
Also it seems that 'being a child' bar is getting raised or lowered in US depending what fits the narrative. 25 is still a child? Really?
Also if the age gap is so weird and inappropriate then where's that energy towards Leonardo DiCaprio? That man is in his 50's and dates 20yo girls, dumping them BEFORE they turn 25.
right? i just can't be mad at chris evans when leo dicaprio essentially picks off an entire population of young models and dane cooke was in his late 40s(?) grooming a 16 year old.
@@jazlynlopez6409 Completely agree!! someone in their 30s/40s going after a 20 year old is gross imo, but after 25 y/o I think they can do whatever the hell they want

"Also if the age gap is so weird and inappropriate then where's that energy towards Leonardo DiCaprio? That man is in his 50's and dates 20yo girls, dumping them BEFORE they turn 25."
I see it all the time on social media like Reddit. Even though he is dating someone who is 26, he's still getting criticism.
Parasocial relationships are scary. Kpop for instance is built on parasocial relationship and it can get very weird very fast
Glad I can be one Kpop fan with absolutely no interest in any parasocial relationship with my favorite idols. I genuinely question the sanity of those people who do believe in those things.
Fr bro like I just wanna listen to fun music and watch nice dancing (and some makeup/fashion/drawing inspo for myself) but I see these people falling in love and thinking that they're gonna marry them and sending protest trucks and I'm just like why????
The Chris Evans letters are so childish, and also creepy. How did an adult actually type that out 😭
I’m so happy I grew out of the parasocial phase of my life. Remembering that time feels like a fever dream
Same, like when I was 12 and obsessed with kid Justin Bieber. I can’t even imagine a 30 year old partaking in shit like this. It’s embarrassing.
Those people are actually unhinged, the lack of self-awareness is staggering!
These types of anti-fans are prone to making up mistreatment narratives in order to “protect” their fav and accuse other fans of being “not true fans” if they aren’t as -delusional- “concerned” as they are.
the level of delusion rivals kpop stans wow
oh god...this is just the tip of the iceberg coming from a kpop stan it can honestly get sm worse
The difference is kpop stans make idols apologize for dating and celebrities in the west mostly dgaf about it
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! This same thing happened when he was dating lily rose depp and when he was rumoured to be dating taylor russell. they created groups to simply shit talk her for absolutely no reason. And when he cut his hair for in 2018 for his movie 'the king' they called him ugly then too. It's insanity. how they spend every waking moment, stalking him and everything that involves his life. he cant cut his hair, he cant date who they don't like or hell, they'd prefer it if he didn't date anyone at all, he cant loose OR gain weight! they even said he cant buy a big house now that he has money. what?! its almost like they think they own him or something. and this happens for a lot of celebrities that have hardcore 'fanbases'
i actually liked when he dated lily because that woman didn't have children i felt like him and lily made good match
Lol I wrote this before I got to that part of the video

Kinda feels to me like the "Kylie stalked and harassed him until he agreed to date her" is projecting on the part of the fans, who probably would like to do that to him. "She MUST have done that! It's what I would do!!" kind of vibes
The discourse over his appearance is also incomprehensible to me for all the reasons in the video, and also because he's just not my type, so either way I'm like "this is just a guy lol"
Seeing Timothee Chalamet on a Dangelo title was honestly quite unexpected.
its also how the photos they choose are always blurry screenshots of him making a weird face as opposed to him in different lighting, not smiling at all or making a face🤣
The fact that you can get almost 400 views in *2 minutes* is crazy. I'm so happy to see you succeeding here!!
This behaviour is so bizarre like just admit y'all were never fans who valued his acting chops and just fancied Timothee when he looked like a minor
We have a running joke in my house that my partner’s cat is obsessed with Timothee Chalomet, because they are both beautiful, dirty little men. “Oh! He made himself a nest of rags, like his hero, Timothee Chalomet!” “Oh, he’s sleeping on a bed of discarded pizza boxes, just like Timothee Chalomet!”
Ok this made me laugh legit😅

The thing is, fans see Timothee as some deep, romantic, misunderstood person. But he is just a man. Fans often have an "image" of who they want to be with their "idol". In his case this was someone with "natural" estetics and just a "manic pixie girl". Kylie Jenner, does not fit that image....like at all. But the thing is, that she is EXACTLY his type. All of his exes were similar to Kylie Jenner in looks and they all were nepo babies as well. She is exactly his type, this type just doesn't fit who their fans belive him to be.
They've confused him with the character he's played since started making movies. He's a well paid actor, that is all..

Why would you bring up such traumatic memories so casually. @@Florilegium1
It is SO ironic that these (presumably women mostly) are judging him the way society has judged women for decades: looks grown, not like a teenager. Losing weight, gaining weight, star fading as a result.
Have we learned nothing?!?
14:18 STANS. They're called stans. Eminem's song perfectly explains this behaviour, and I kinda find it sad that the word "stan" is now being reclaimed as a good thing to call yourself, especially because it's based on Eminem's real experiences😅
As a member of the student body, I can confirm we are sooooo totally legit
Superfans used to have to pay a membership fee to an official fan club to really show their dedication. We should bring that back. Timothy deserves a little stipend for this delusional harassment.
I mean I thought my 12yr age gap was fine, but turns out I'm the more mature one and he was single and friendless for a reason... I literally filed a police report yesterday and might have to escalate it to a restraining order because he becomes scary... so no, age doesn't mean you're automatically mature
i‘d take out a restraining order just to be save. hope better and brighter things are ahead!
@@buffalowig I can't qualify apparently because we didn't live together, get married or have a kid. Thanks though. Just spoke with his previous ex who I was told was a psycho, but turns out it's more likely our guy we both dated is the real issue. Cause buddy seems like a really sweet guy and has had the same awful experiences with this crazy guy...
I’m two weeks older than him, and he looks fine! I also went from looking baby to pretty much the same, just a bit more tired. Just wait until he’s in his 40-50’s and I’m sure the fans will go nuts over him again lol
Love your videos so much D'Angelo! Happy Friday!!
i never expected a club chalamet video and im so glad we have it haha
People are insane, honestly being famous would be my worst nightmare
Imagine thinking you're a fan of someone but it hinges entirely upon that persons haircut.
Tbh to me the difference in photos is that Timothee finally looks like a strong gust of wind won't blow him away. He looks less skeletal, like he has meat on his bones finally. In short, he looks healthier??? So idk why theyre complaining that he no longer looks scrawny.
I think they see him as a manic pixie dream boy, if that's even a thing, and they're mad he "chose the popular girl".
So like r/nicegirls?
I am grossed out by Chris Evan’s age gap relationship, but to be fair I’m skeeved out by all age gap relationships 🤷🏻
In my opinion, Chris Evans always struck me as being fairly immature, which is probably why the age gap doesn’t bother me as much.
Yeah, for me it's more like 'Im close to her age, and I can't imagine being with a guy in his forties regardless of who it is ' But obviously I'm not her, so it's irrelevant.
This is very relatable 😭
I just find it kinda funny because Chrevans used to refer to Tom Holland as a kid and Tom is older than Alba. But they're both adults.
They are both adults though. It's not like he groomed her being her babysitter for the past 10 years or something.
He's not- he just has high cheekbones 😂
Wonka was truly awful tho can't be denied

Mr. D’Angelo, this video is none of my business but HOW DARE YOU??
The audacity! 😂
