Briggs & Stratton Oil Leak Repair - Lower Pan Gasket

  • Z Force Pro 54 Commercial 0 Turn mower.
    Briggs and Stratton, Intek 22hp OHV engine.
    Craftsman Turbo cool.
    Replace lower pan gasket to repair oil leak.
    Engine removal, remove oil pump, PTO, choke and throttle cables, exhaust, belts, clean up engine, replace crankshaft seal and lower gasket.
    Reset governor.

    .....confused by step four........ I thought I was on a roll when I was keeping up with step two,...but then
    i heard my 10mm roll away someplace.

      @@canadianwrench ( I actually found a 10mm at a yard sale yesterday...two in fact.
      The funny thing is I was picking up sockets and one said " john" on it? John?
      It was a John Deere socket....1/2" drive 10mm.
      To me that is laughable.....
      I think when working on a ten mm...you need 3/4" drive and just for good measure, keep a 1" drive impact gun at the ready.
      Those 10mm can be devilish little buggers....Don't turn your back! )

      Agreed - I have back up 10mm everything (several).
      Cool find - the overkill 10 mil. from JD.
      I love that old stuff.

      @@canadianwrench I think I found a 10mm Craftsman in the street.
      I've got it on film but it was run over so many times....I can't read the numbers yet.
      It gave me an idea for a vide.
