I am really wanting to get into this hobby, but I’m concerned about venting. I have a small office in my house and that would be the only place I could put my 3-D printer, but I’m worried about the fumes and venting. Could you maybe please cover some tips on venting?
you only need venting for resin printers. are you getting a resin printer?

@@triplenickelniner you dont need venting for that, i keep it next to my bed in my room. But the fans on the ender 3 can be loud so maybe wont let you sleep
@@sebastianaramburo9186 my plan is to have it in my office. 😀 somewhere near my computer. It won’t be until September or closer to Christmas if I do get one this year. I have been trying to learn as much as possible about it though.
@@triplenickelniner don't get a basic Ender 3 in 2024, we've moved to way better things in the 200 bucks range
one feature you should really look for is auto bed leveling, since that takes the most work out of getting started.
Some later Ender 3 versions do have this, but the basic Ender 3 is completely obsolete at this point.

If you do, order one of the Ender 3V3 variants (the KE offers the most bang for your buck imo). The older ender 3 variants are really beginning to show their age. However you can modify the absolute crap out of those open source printers.

Duende has top5's on literally everything and they're no better than this one
Can't say much about resin printers for now, but:
Baseline Ender3 is like a fossil, *super* outdated by now, it released all the way back in 2018 and the industry made quite a leap since then, look at something like Ender3 v3 SE/KE instead.
And Monoprice... Well, the abovementioned 3v3 KE simply has superior characteristics while being cheaper at the same time.
Buying a 3d printer isn't a question of life and death, it's not something you need right here and now or even yesterday. So instead of buying a dirt cheap one that'll hurt you in more than one way, save up a bit and get a good one that'll work with you, not fight against
