I will never forget how terrified I was kin 2000, when the local news was saying that he could be coming through Houston. I was living alone with my baby, and pregnant with my second child. The home was very close to a railroad track; so we could hear the trains going by in the middle of the night, nearly EVERY night, since I learned of a serial killer in the area😩🤷🏽
Yeah I had four little kids at home in luling ,tx. the electricity went out and of course we lived right next to the railroad track. I didn't have a gun at the moment so I went and borrowed a little 25 from a friend. Sat in the dark and held it all night while the kids slept. A very very long night.
We were right by track's in the house I just got for me and my kid too. She had a baby boy with her fiance and we all lived there with 2 big scary dogs. Neighbor keeping an eye out. With a shotgun. Loved that house but it was too much. We had taggers and had been robbed as well. I was really upset to leave my 1st house that I bought just for me and my fam. We've been in this lemon ever since. Had pitties for 17yrs here. It's a much better neighborhood but this is the crappies house on the block🤪 So glad you guys are ok! That really was scary and even just the end of street right by the trains was scary ENOUGH w/o HIM.😢
I remember this when it was happening in my city in Texas … I remember the news report and my cousin saying she was scared to go to sleep… at the time I didn’t understand what she was talking about… but now I see… so creepy
They left their doors unlocked. No sign of forced entry, they don't know he got in, because he just went from house to house and tried the doors until he found one that was unlocked.
I remember when this was going on when I was a kid here in Texas, and I would be laying down to go to bed at night and hear the trains going by in the distance and be just terrified 😫 I lost many a nights sleep as a kid because of this guy
That's sad. I had a similar experience when Ted Bundy was in our area. My mom was terrified that Bundy would get one of us girls. He was actually in our general area at one time.
I lived in Sacramento CA in the 80s and think I saw him there when I was younger when we lived next to the train yard. He looks just like this person, if you can call him a person. Moor like a monster in human form..
That’s what John Walsh called him man those was the best days ever a kid in the 90s with back to back episodes of cops then Americas most wanted but the railroad killer was a scary time living close to the tracks especially at night this guy went all over the USA on them tracks just think how many people he’s killed that they don’t even know about ain’t no telling how long we would have went if he didn’t turn himself in
I like listening to these stories, what I can't stand is these doctors forever making excuses for these killers. I know people that were raped and beating through their childhood and never went out and killed innocent people. There's no excuses for what they do. They chose to kill.
It sucked riding freight trains back then because everywhere we went we were always getting pulled off by railroad police while they were looking for him
Yeah the old guy who taught me how to hop told me a story about getting pulled off a train by cops who were looking for him in the late 90s. Nowadays it sucks on the west coast because past couple years there have been a ton of thefts from containers on IM trains, so they've been heating up security a lot. Thermal cameras and such
I remember this case and this guy in the 80s as a kid growing up in Southern Texas. This guy instilled nightmares into people all over the country. his nickname was "El Mocha orejas" which translates to "Ear cutter" because he used to cut the ears off of his victims.i remember being happy when they finally caught him and everyone was at ease after that. Great coverage Absolute Crime! Thank you for this one.
Wow. You were wrong pretty much about everything. Actually, this guy operated in the 90s, not the 80s. He didn't cut his victims' ears off, nor was he called "the ear cutter". This is the Railroad Killer. And btw, it would be El Mochaorejas as one word, which translates to the ear chopper, not the ear cutter
Why are there so many serial killers born in 1960? Richard Ramirez was also 1960 and there is another one too; just can't remember the name now. That must have been Satan's year for infiltrating earth
@Winters1980 open enough for 2.5 million of illegal aliens."We simply cannot allow people to pour into the U.S., undetected, undocumented, unchecked and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, lawfully to become immigrants in this country".... KKK went to church on Sunday after killing innocent people all week. Once people stop looking at their victims as “equals”…. killing is like hunting or fishing
My cousin was murdered in Kentucky in the early 90's. Her gun was used to kill her. I found it interesting that he used what he found instead of briging holis own weapon. I wonder if he killed before the late 90's.
Wow,easy to get into the States. Wow,zero border control ? So easy for a teenager to cruise in and out ? I bet this made them decide it might be a priority to eventually consider something called basic border control ?
There is old story us teenagers in my hometown of galion Ohio. It was about a teenager that was killed one night by a guy that hoped off the railroad and killed them. Galion ohio is a small town of 10,000 people that's small and th3 railroad is downtown. I'm starting to think maybe it was a real story he would have been riding around in the 60s and sooner I'm sure. So I was teenager in early 2000s like 2004 makes me think
The border might be open though I am hearing that every state if arrested they can be deported without a trile . I hope this is the case for every state. If they get in trouble onece they should be gone. No third strike bye bye. Take them back to the country of origin so there not right back to the border.
@@jamesprichard8355😂😂😂 I know right…every MAGA in this country is all fired up about immigration…but judging from this dude’s comment up above…EDUCATION is CLEARLY the issue at hand. 😂😂🤡🤡

I. Remember this way back in the day on America most wanted man this dude went everywhere on them Trains ain’t no telling how many people he killed I remember he was seen In Arkansas and I lived bye the tracks it was scary
No Ramirez was the Night Stalker. Very similar MO. They both broke into people's homes but Ramirez used a pistol and this guy used whatever he found in the home. Ramirez was far worse with a much higher body count. Both were terrifying.
May all the victims rest in peace, healing to the woman that survived.

Ikr!? I don't understand why police assume everyone locks their doors or open them to let people in ... Dumb.
Once again..... Common link between all serial killers. Incompetent police work

Get in a train and travel accross your country. Texas alone is bigger than most countries in this world. Easy for serial killers to slip through.
12-13 MURDERS, not "crimes" as she mentioned.
