Haters will run and ruin this wholesome moment by saying that Nightwing would just beat him up but while he easily could,even Nightwing said multiple that Damian will easily surpass him when he grows up one day.

Sure Jason beat a kid up(very out of character btw),but when Jason was getting clapped by Joker at age 15,Damian was clapping Joker at age 10.

Dick might think he's too young to be a dad, but he's an excellent older brother.
He IS too young,he himself is only in his late 20s and Damian is a teenager.
But Alfred is definetly more helpful than Bruce.
Even in Injustice 2 comics Damian while feeding an Alfred in a catatonic state said that it was Alfred who taught him about family.
Right now though Alfred is dead and comics and Bruce has vastly improved at being a father,in the newest comics in 2024 Bruce is basically S tier dad.And he was literally shit tier at first

Despite countless Fights I can say this, Jason, Tim and Damin respect their older brother the most
"We are still the greatest" Damian's character was always one I was iffy on, lots of times the multiple Robins can feel redundant from a story and thematic perspective as they can hit the same beats over and over and because of the writers it doesn't end up making long lasting impact when it should. The more Robins you have the harder it is to maintain the emotionally stunted loner Bruce is since by the time you get to the 4th he's taken on the task of raising or helping raise so many kids it's hard to imagine he hasn't grown. However this finally sold me on Damian fully, this one line got me man.
You should also read the New 52 Batman Inc events that lead to his fight with the Heretic.
Those also show his true character,shame most will just watch TH-cam shorts of Injustice 2 intros,that game is as misleading as they are for Superman and Wonder Woman
Making Damian Dick's Robin was one of the best ideas dc had.

Blame his initial upbringing under the Demons (Ra’s, Talia, etc.), that would screw any kid up
Rare moment of the writers not making Damian completely insufferable. Now they have to compensate for that by having him be the literal worst in about 4 or 5 entire arcs.

There was a really badass part in this comic.
Basically Nightwing was shown many versions of Damian,starting from his youngest and smallest 10 year old assassin self when he first met Bruce,then above him was New 52 as Robin(age 10-12),then Rebirth(age 13),then above him was INJUSTICE Damian(at age 17-18) and massively above him and towering over half a head taller(like more than Nightwings and Bruces physical gap)was Batman 666 Damian(age 25+)
Showing that Injustice isnt Damians true potential,which many other characters in the game including Nightwings ghost note.
Damian as Batman 666 is Damians true fullest potential and its what he ends up in most of the multiverse.
Injustice is a wrong and inferior path for a much weaker Damian.
He is meant to become Batman,even the multiverse ending showed him going in that direction

As much as I do not like Damian, at all, I'll admit he has his moments.
In Damians defense, the writers have absolutely no clue what they want him to be. They keep changing his character from abused kid with potential to just plain Ahole ever time we see him.
Brilliant Robins the Knights Of Gotham to Brothers' true. Richard Grayson has earned his mantle as Nightwing from Boy Wonder to the greatest solo hero in his home town. Dick and Damien the sons of Batman the best of brothers, but it hasn't always been easy for Damien the truth about being Bruce Wayne's son has led him down a rocky path but his grown into a great Robin thanks to his brother Richard helping out here and there and Alfred Pennyworth he who was like a grandfather to both of them as a mentor and teacher of life and helping them become like family brothers not some much in blood but in their souls because of their friendship for their adopted grandfather and his love for two boys who he saw broken and hart and he fixed them and gave them his time he was their hero. He in turn helped three boys deal with hardship of losing their family and friends and taught all of them to fight for what they believe is right as heroes of all those things he helped form his family into brave and possibly the greatest heroes. From humble beginnings to now Batman's Sons and Family has been the greatest story of how a butler kept house and those boys in his charge save the whole thing is fantastic.
Nightwing evolved from Robin and Titan and gained a brother who became Robin of course they've had other brothers and sisters but fundamentally they've all had Alfred at their backs not just Batman it was Alfred Pennyworth their guardian angel a true friend a grandfather figure to Damien and Dick, and to Bruce a father all ways after his parents were killed there was a man called Alfred Pennyworth a father who took care of the family Wayne (Pennyworth) a secret he knows but can't reveal?
The comic writer can bite me for suggesting Damian is more Bruce’s son than Dick, just because one of them is adopted and one of them isn’t.

Just had a awesome idea. Robin becomes Dick's sidekick Flamebird. You can even freak out EVERYONE by having Flamebird become the new Robin. Oh! She can use a update version of the old Earth 2 adult Robin.
