Their true selves are behind the door, in the suits, around their families. Bruce literally became a self employed stripper to keep his identity a secret in this game, is he a stripper playboy? No... Grayson, as we know is now in the spotlight and has taken over all of Bruce's activities as Bruce Wayne, literally some of the context behind that interview... Ya don't think he needs the same sort of cover? He needs to imply "Richard Grayson" is as wild as "Bruce Wayne" now, no more being a charming vigilante in Blüdhaven anymore. They're off being some of the worst rich guys in the world, doing anything they want with their fortune while really they're the amazing superheroes Batman and Nightiwng, saving the day, the city and both being straight as well.
They'd honestly become known as terrorists if it means their identities and loved ones aren't compromised. Grayson would let the world think he was dead as we saw in the Agent 37 run.
You can stretch and take that as evidence, I can't stop you but that's not truly "Evidence" knowing their lore. They have a secret identity to maintain, we'd hear Grayson doing more in the game, also, one of the developers confirmed he's just an ally.

Honestly it's fun the in the game Grayson is comfortable with the comments and he himself shows pride in how he looks. DC used to make him genuinely uncomfortable with all that and sometimes unaware of how much people were attracted to him, but the game making him proud and comfortable with himself is a good change of pace. 👍

I mostly interact with these things through cutscene compilations, so I can't speak to the gameplay aspects, but I agree so much.
The characterization and dynamics between the characters are much more memorable than the Arkham games. Feels silly saying this under a video of Nightwing butt talk, but overall the cutscenes and even the idle chat between the characters just have so much heart.

I can’t exactly give you a full explanation but I feel like there’s been hints possibly before, and I may not be accurate but there is a comic(?) Pride cover with him on it. And Dick doesn’t strike me as the kind to be “picky” and given his track record with redheads, and his VERY close relationship with Wally/Kid Flash in most media, I feel there’s been hints.
