Just got a 2020 in quantum gray black optics absolutely beautiful. Love the car, so quality so fast. Every-time i approach a stop light my hands already reaching for the traction control to do a launch. Feels like tour own little personal roller coaster when you do a launch in this baby.
wish I could afford something like that ... looks stupid fun to me. Glad to live in Germany tho, always get that "cmon floor it till max speed" feel. Sad it's mostly 60-75mph in the US
Sure, in the Germany you have sections of roads with no speed limits but speed limits are very strictly enforced on sections of roads with speed limits. In the us we have pretty low speed limits but very little enforcement.

I thought you were dead wrong when you stated it's a turbo V6, as they've always said "V6T" on the fenders despite previously being supercharged, but to my surprise I looked it up to find they have indeed switched to turbo.

I just got 2018 S5 sprotback, and like you said and showed, handling and acceleration is mental. Launching into a corner is also fun :) when you just cruise, fuel consumption is surprisingly good, which means you don't have to stop every 2h to hours to refuel. However, the gearbox isn't THAT great. My previous car was A3 with 2.0 TDI and DSG, it changes gears faster. And my S5 in launch doesn't kick, it's more like a proper push that lasts a bit. Like when a driver releases the clutch in maual with too many rpms and they do it a bit too slow. Maybe there is something wrong with mine though, previous owner did 40k km in one year :D
Absolutely love how understated this car is! You could even confuse it with a mk6 Jetta. And it seems to drive like a dream!! No wonder you don't see many of these in the US. Gotta have a big, loud, obnoxious muscle car that drives only in straight lines... -_-
ay, i know exactly where this is. There's a road a few miles away from there that actually has corners, which is surprising for michigan, that I like to go down in my s4. It's actually smooth too. Another surprising thing for michigan.

Look for a b7 (2006-2008) they are cheap now a days and i just bought a b7 s4. When looking at a used one ask about water pump and timing chain. They are the most expensive parts to replace (timing chain tensioner alone is between 2500 and 4000 USD)

well this S4 is my daily driver.... I also have a 2015 BMW M4 for fun..... I've already had to re-do the head gaskets in this S4 twice, and I'm still losing quite a bit of oil.... The dash says the front headlight is out... but its not... so I'm not sure whats going on there.... So My plan is to drive this until something major happens,, sell the car as-is... then buy a 2-3 year old S4 again... I'd like to get the RS3, but I don't think its a good idea to have 2 cars that cost that much
@@Soljarag5 The RS3 is a Golf with an Audi-unique engine and mostly uses Golf parts. If that still bothers you, get the S3 and throw an APR tune on it and get nearly as much entertainment value while having near universal compatibility with Golf parts because only the body components are Audi-specific. Frankly, the MQB-based Audis are actually more fun to drive in general than the MLB ones; a little more raw.

How would you compare that ZF 8 speed with GM's 8 speed? Judging by how they respond to paddle inputs n youtube videos, ths GM unit seems as if it came straight from 1987.
Driven both, the GM one is not up to par. That being said, Audi's tuning of this ZF8 is inferior to BMW's tuning of the same transmission. BMW's is snappier, Audi was a tiny bit too conservative with it. That kinda describes the B9 generation S4/5 and RS4/5: a little bit too comfortable, not visceral enough.

Nah I’m in the u.s and there’s plenty of spots where you can go well over 100. Just not for long periods of times. I’ve hit 125 in my passat 2.0t.

This does have the sports rear diff and dynamic ride control. I'm pretty sure dynamic steering is separate from the S package.
