There is something about older Audis that I really like. Just the interior design and the way they feel is just amazing. This S3 is no exception. Great 2.0L turbo 4 it has had for its lifetime, great 6-speed dual clutch transmission, and overall, great performance. I would happily take this S3. Either this one or the current one, both are amazing, so someone give me either one :D
I used to have one back in 2016. i have a cabriolet in blue. i got rid of it in 2018 though and got a range rover. now i have a vw golf gti performance
The 8V was an AMAZING platform. The S3 specifically has almost unbeatable value, obviously the RS3 is insanely good but also alot more expensive. The S3 is really the perfect in-between. Close to perfect interior, top notch quality, looks really good. Not much to complain about.
@@slonkijippie the 2.0L turbo 4 was really all you needed 👍👍 I mean 292 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque is plenty of power and it was quick. A 4.7 second 0-60 time was quick.
Dig the review. I've watched almost every video I could find on this car over the past year and hopefully tomorrow I'll be purchasing mine. Such a great car!
@@johnnyparker2128 my S3 is big turbo on stock motor rn makin 500whp, 0 issues and i race every weekend. Don’t have to worry about engine abuse with these cars
I bought a 2015 Audi S3 sedan. Manual. It's a beauty. Sturdy on road and fast. I'm planning a stage 1 in the future. Any recommendations? Was thinking APR. Thank you 👍
I sat in one of these. Twice. I loved the way it looks from the inside and out. The thing is, I can't decide if I should buy a 2008 Audi R8 V8 or this. In Germany, they're basically almost the same price. R8 goes from 50,000 euros and up, depends on the seller, and this one goes up to 65,000. If I get lucky enough I could buy both. :D
This is late to the punch, but now with over 60k miles they are solid. the 2.0T EA888 is solid and the dsg can handle whatever you throw at it. Ibe been stage 2 for a while and the clutch still handles nicely. These trans can handle over 600 hp to pushing the 420 i am now is well within reason. theyre quick,l light, and fun beyond belief
I'm thinking of buying a 2015 S3 with 75k miles-I know this isn't the same year but they are close in terms of comparison. Do yall think it would still be a great pickup or should I look for something else?
@Zyzz yea the 2016 is still good. Only difference really is the facelift (I like the facelift on the 2017+ a lot) but some like the 2016 front better, another difference is the headlights like you said, digital dash which I love but don’t need, and the taillights are different as well. Other than that the 2016 is good and I love mines, would definitely recommend it. Easy to get it to 400whp+.

does it fold the side mirrors?

@@johnnyparker2128 Abuse? It's under-tuned like mad from the factory! Stage 1 is letting it breathe, not abusing it.

Your are the one one the wrong side....most of the world drives on the right side.
These are going for cheaper than 30k now, which i thought I was dead set on getting a mk7.5 gti..but now...I'm not sure.
Get the s3

Great video! S3 seems pretty loud at 70mph. Tires? Wind noise? Audio?
It is one of Audi’s cheaper S models so maybe that’s why.
How's the engine braking in the sportiest modes?
Your channel is cool dude its cars
How is your cabin noise so quiet? I find it to be extremely loud.
I do like the S3 i really do but my heart is with the CLA 45 AMG.
This isnt meant to go against the CLA. Wait till the end of this year for the RS3 Sedan.
+Lambo True but that was close enough. I will say I love the 45 but I feel the RS3 is going to kill it. The S3 can even hang

Try to get a 2016, 2016 S3 is more reliable as they got all the issues out with that year

2022 Acura Integra def gonna compete with this
Hopefully it isn’t overweight like the new type s TLX, that car has such underwhelming performance for the price because of the weight (4200lbs)
