I have a B9 A4 S-line and mine turned out to have a very high spec for a premium plus, it comes with the sport package sport seats and sport steering wheel with the D shape, I love this car, I always wanted an Audi S4 but I just can't afford it, I will modify this car and will try to get the best out of it. with suspension braking and some engine tuning paired with exhaust, bolt ons and such this car has a potential. In my opinion if you don't want to break the bank try to put your hand on a well spec B9 A4
Thanks Tom. A sensible review with no bull shit. I drive an 2014 S3 and LOVE it. Always had Audis and the S4 Avant ‘was’ going to be my choice, but S3 won it for me on need for size. LandRover does all the big stuff. Thanks for the review. Will subscribe.
I own a S4 saloon, and it's the best car I've ever owned. The MPG (34.4 avg) on the motorway is brilliant for a 3l turbo, and it's so comfortable you get out at the other end of the journey feeling like it was 5miles away. I've driven it in Europe, and it was immense. Cruising at 260kmh, car was as stable as it is at 30mph.
Awesome car! I wish we got it in the US! 😭 Great video but get a Camera mount for the headrest because I feel like I’m gonna have an epileptic seizure lol
Nice vid. I have a 2018 s4 and absolutely love it. Gas mileage isn’t anywhere near as good as that avant. But with a tune and full bolt ons, it’s a freakin blast to drive. Long trips I use my stock 2018 a5 though. Over 500 mi to a tank
I think Im actually sold on my next car by this, Its just a shame the avant is just a little bit out of my current budget. as I think the avant looks better than saloon
Any idea what the alloys on this are? Size/name etc? They’re really nice and make the car look great. Great review all around. Thinking of getting one later in the year!
as long as it’s been maintained well 70k miles is fine. Check for obvious things like brakes/tyres but also check for coolant leaks under the thermostat housing. Also check for misfires as this can mean coil packs/injectors need changing. These engines also suffer from carbon buildup on the intake valves but this can be cleaned, at a cost of course. But again as long as it’s been well looked after it’s a pretty reliable car.
michelin cross climates are pretty good. I’d still go with ps4s’s for summer then winter tyres for winter. Depends on where you live though. In south england you’d get away with summer tyres all year round.
i have a 2017 s4 like yours.luckily with matrix,pan roof,bno,heated rear seats,rear cam.lovely cars
I swapped my Mercedes’ for a 2018 S5 coupe in Black 2 months ago. Absolutely love it. Stunning car.

We need this sooooo bad in the states!!! Come on Audi!!! We love Avants
Can’t believe you got 42 mpg 😮

No rear camera as standard is nuts! I have a A4 Avant 45 TFSI Quattro and it's so nice!

lol you should be an audi salesman.
Really good review, think I’m going to buy one of these tomorrow.

In the US there’s no s4 avant- but the s5 sportback fills its spot with usability.
I’d still probably take the s4 avant given the opportunity

man that POV shaking killed me quickly
My next car love the s4's
must be a Euro thing, but i don't have efficiency mode on my 2019. only comfort/auto/dynamic/individual
Thinking of getting one this year
Do it. Great car for the money!
I loved your review, thank you!!
Makes me want a M340i touring even more

wheels are 245/35r19, these are optional wheels from factory on the S4 in the UK
How does this compare to the s4 saloon
How would you compare this to the stage 1 A5 you had on the channel?
it’s a tad quicker and sounds better, handling is the same though.
Would you pick the S4 avant over the S5 sportback?
i'd pick the S4. More room and still looks pretty good i think.
Fuel economy is shocking, I'll stick with my 335D... :)
How does this compare to the s3? :)
bit more luxurious, sounds better and smoother. Also handles a little better i’d say.
@@ParagonCarsLondon okey thank you kindly!
Is 70k miles on one too much? What problems should I expect??

That’s weird it doesn’t have a back camera. I had one s4 sedan 2018 and it did have one. It wasn’t an option either
if in canada we have a law since 2017 I think that requires car makers to have backup cameras
Car goals fr
You need to try and get yourself into a b9 rs4 bc I'd love to hear what you think of them
I want one so badly!
Would be a huge improvement to my 18 astra 1.4T SRI 😂
That thing rattled intermittently since the day i got it at 3k miles
What would you say are the best tyres for this? Would you run summer and then winter tyres or is there a best all round tyre?

is this petrol or diesel ?
Petrol
Why doesn’t my 18’ from Canada have Efficiency mode???
It could be only EU cars that get it. NA and Canada tend to get slightly different variations of most VW group cars.
Nah dont buy this car go for 19+
How come?
