I am getting one that is a 50” for my birthday, I am a lot more excited about it after seeing this video. I can’t wait to play on my PS5 on the LG QNED 80!
A year plus later, the 50" is a different TV. It's a VA panel, that should not be reviewed with any of the other sizes, that are IPS panels. (IPS panels are more for bigger screens with many watching or very bright viewing areas with watching at off angles..a VA panel is usually much better for contrast when viewing head on. [If you view your TV from a couch somewhat head on, the 50" VA panel is much better. Only a more expensive true top Mini-LED TV, modern brighter OLED and a Micro-LED panels TV, which you can't afford, is the best of almost all worlds. I despise his personality and a "real reviewer would not have it and go into extreme details.]
I enjoyed this review..lol...Thank God i do my research vefore big buys..i was gonna go the Samsung route until i saw this LG next to it in store and the difference was so obivious in performance with the LG being better
QNED80 QNED81 aren't mini led they are just nano and qled combo and doesnt have dolby vision QNED85 and above are mini led models and these have dolby vision iq and dolby vision
I knew about the Dolby Vision, but now I’m even more confused that I thought. The Amazon listing says it’s Mini-LED, so I guess somebody messed up then 😅
You know, what does TV actually looks really good! Even though it's Edge lit, with regular LEDs. I bet you just have to get the local dimming settings right!
I have not seen LG TV being reviwed on utube except for Oled tv of course . Dont know why , LG is just under rated . Maybe their Marketing and promotional activities are not too aggresive . U
I don't know what your smoken but ill take a pound of it!!! One leg mounted in the wide position and the other in the narrow., wow sharp as a tack you are....lol

Internet connection no matter how Ethernet wired or Wifi is always lost every day. 2. The image... if I'm watching sport, football or something that is fast moving, you can see a shadow behind the subject like a ghost, or something like that because it can't describe otherwise! I've set up the best way for the sport watching but absolutely nothing good happen. 3. As a smart tv must when shutting on to appear the smart screen with all Apps, but instead is opening for the cable option to be used..but these days almost no one uses cable tv .... streaming and there you need to see the apps as the first option, that's my opinion...ya apps are pops up on the bottom for very short...few seconds and if you don't touch immediately it disappear and you must touch the home for apps again...for me this is inconvenient as well! 4. If you have connected for example a firestick, it is also annoying that when i go out for one app from LG it pops up the firestick to go ...but without touching any Taste... crazy tv. 5. The store for Apps, if you want to download an app but first you want to read what does this app and if you don't want that app and you have no other options but to touch the back button and instead to go in the store to see further the list with what did you searched...it goes total out on the main screen 🤦🤦 This tv normally Price was "2800€" but I bought it on BlackFriday last year for 1700€ but I'm telling you this tv is worth Not more than 500€ even for this 65inch. I've not so much time to describe more and clear but I hope you understand what i have written here! Tks for the question 👍

It’s not true Mini-Led. QNED 80 is the edge lit standard local dimming. The QNED 85 is the true mini-led.

Go Samsung. Personally the edge lit, no Dolby vision and horrible contrast made make a different choice
