I almost bought a watch from Macys last Sept on Labor Day. I was just passing through and they had the Tissot Seastar 660/1000 Diver Chrono on sale for around $350 and I saw the same watch at Nordstrom for $20 more. I tried it on, it felt good and looked nice but I couldn’t unscrew the screw down pushers. I also decided to pass because it’s a quartz and I already have several quartz chronos and a Tissot PRS 516 automatic chrono, which Ive gotten lots of compliments on for its look
I didn’t realize that was still the case! I’m a longtime Bloomingdale’s cardholder, will have to check out what benefits the Macy’s card offers. Cheers!
Spot on! Tired of watch enthusiasts complaining about macys being terrible place for watches. I like it, i can try on whatever i want for the price i want without any judgment!
I like Macy's. Good watches and sometimes a good selection of models. I go there for Seiko and Casio. But you have to know your watches before you go there. I visited the Macy's at The Galleria in Houston looking for a Seiko Arnie. The silicone strap was not the original one. It seems to me that someone bought it and returned it (but changed the strap to a cheaper one before returning it). Of course the salesman didn't know how this watch must look like.
BOO. That’s terrible at your experience. Yeah my purchasing at Macy’s is generally limited to online. The love is for the Galleria. I’m in Austin and used to go down every couple of months to wander the shops! The last time I was there was February (pre COVID) and I miss Houston dearly. Cheers and thanks for watching!!!
I grabbed a couple of watches with 20% off Fourth of July sale.

I picked up my first Automatic Seiko from Macy's and my first Citizens Eco Drive from Kohls
also check out Khol's!
I buy many of my watches from Macy's and the discount is even better when you have their credit card.

I got last easter an SSK019 for 351 OTD, looking for a SRPE55 for christmas:-)
I have 3 INC watches that stop working. How do you wind it up or replace the batteries, if applicable ??
I doubt they’re automatic so I would take them back to Macys and have them do it.

Agreed! You must have a better Macy’s store than I do - I mostly shop online. But agreed completely!

Josh, could you please give me the reference/model number for your Longines?
Sure! That’s the Longines Legend diver, 42mm, L3.774.4.50.0. I bought mine on the sailcloth strap but you can get a Milanese bracelet on it as well.
I got a Citizen at Macy’s for $30 less than anywhere even online plus $40 gift card to come back and use at the store.
