I think the Worn & Wound website did do some research on the original mechanical Lunar Pilot. The original movement did in fact come from Switzerland, from Universal Geneve (which was owned by Bulova at the time), and they also came up with the flat lever pusher design. As for a modern mechanical movement for the LP, I don’t think that would match with their plans to market the LP as a low-budget alternative to the Speedy; the Precisionist movement gives the LP a stronger selling point.
@@theurbangentry Don't get me wrong, I would love to see it, but the reality is that Bulova would be forced to use a Citizen Group movement, and considering the high markup it inevitably would have, it wouldn't impress the snobs it's targeting and risks being a commercial flop.

But one thing has remained unchanged. Youve always stayed true to your roots. You are the epitome of a true watch lover my friend. Don't ever change!
I’m buying my first Bulova the Marine Star. I’m very excited. After that one I’ll buy my fist automatic watch which will be a Tissot Le Locle. But not going to lie, something about Citizen’s eco drive technology draws me to get one someday
Loved this topic and your presentation! Absolutely brilliant! All of the watches highlighted have so much going on with them giving the owners decades of pure enjoyment. So many treasures packed into a single video! Very well done 🥃
I’ve got Casio, seiko, Dan Henry, and Phobios, as well as Omega, Panerai, Tudor, Rolex, Zenith, Daniel Roth, and my Bi-retro Gerald Genta that I showed the “Urban Gentry” at the Moyer Event several months ago. I am enjoying all these regardless of price.
Usually I’d agree, but I notice I’ve been getting the most satisfaction from my most expensive watch. Good picks. I remember you bringing my attention to the Citizen "lefty" automatic diver when it and the SKX were contemporaries. Now both are history (both Citizen and Seiko have introduced alternatives) but while the SKX in NOS condition is often at crazy money the Citizen can still be found new around $200. It's a very affordable under $1000 watch but the fact that it was used by the Marina Militare as their official dive watch gives it a credibility no watch snob can deny. I have several that will never leave my collection
I can honestly say I have NEVER watched one of your video that I didn't find it entertaining, educational and pure awesome...!!! THANK YOU for doing what you do (so well). Cheers!
It would be great to see a video about the Casio Oceanus line. They are extremely well finished thin slim analog everyday watches with all the G-Shock tech in the $300-$1500 range. The perfect choice if you need a business-appropriate watch with all the G-Shock ruggedness. They’re Japan only so you’ll need to import them unfortunately.
- Baltic is in my top 3 watch brands with their clean and vintage design and the good quality that makes their watches looks twice their price tag. - Christopher Ward is also one of the best value for money and it also continues to up their game. - Lorier is slowly but steady doing a great job in that price range. And as mentioned Squale and Hamilton are perfect in this price range.
The big problem with Bulova's 262hz movements is the reduced battery life. I would love for Citizen to find a way to combine their eco-drive tech with their bulova precisionist movements. That would make it truly a fantastic watch.
You are so right about a G Shock, every home needs one. Clearly the square steels the limelight, whether that be the bas 5600, or slightly pricier abd updated 5610. But ultimately there's nothing the base 5600 misses from the 5610, ultimately they both do the same thing, tell the time. However I'll argue you need 3 g-shocks- a Casioak- they wear really nicely, have a 5610, it does everything and has tough solar, but have something special- a 5000u, and put a combi bracelet on it for a premium wearing experience. Those 3 and your g-shock collection is complete.
Beautifully made as always. These are such useful videos for getting ideas. My watch fun is to get nice pieces for under 500 Euros. So Dan Henrys, Seikos, Orients, Casios are always of interest.
I love my lunar pilot I have the older full sized one and I can just about pull off wearing it. It was my first watch that was more than 100 dollars and its still to this day my favorite spends the most time on my wrist for sure.
I specifically asked Junghans what the original was and I was surprised they still made them! Gotta love the proportions and harmony of the design on the original 34mm manual Max Bill. Glad to see it mentioned here.
Hi TGV Still keeping on presenting great watches that are not especially expensive. I really love that attitude about your channel.😊 Keep up the good work👍
“Really 007!” 😂 Great list on a good topic. I would nominate the Citizen Promaster which I think garners respect among our more brand obsessed colleagues, at least in my experience. I hope you are well TGV and thank you for being a voice of reason and inspiration on my most recent acquisition. Best-David
What a well spoken, entertaining and thoughtful presentation. I see you have a real passion for watches. Not only for a watch itself, but it’s history. I watch other videos on watches. Some are good as well and others not so well. You have a personal style not like others that really bring a gentleman’s perspective to watch collecting. At 59 I’m new to watch collecting. Right now it’s like being a kid in a candy store. I have started with a few affordable basic classics. And a couple $300 price watches. Now ready to move up in scale. Videos like this one really help me to select next level. Thanks for your help. All the best. Jim from Georgia
Another exceedingly enjoyable installment! The golden age returns - although truth be told I love all of the creativity on this channel. It was a bit curious that Long Island Watch dropped the Bulova today, but it is a fine piece nonetheless. And hey - I happen to love Squale and it was one of the first brands that I ever encountered on this channel! Proud to be original Gentry (I wish you'd say keep it gentry, onwards and upwards again), and thank you TGV!
I'm happy to see more of you on TH-cam lately. I love your Noe' movie poster. Enter the Void is his best one I think. I just bought a matching bracelet for my Sinn 144 chronograph, and I'm loving it.
I actually just bought a Lunar Pilot but I got the original 45mm black because my wrists are flat, broad and slab-shaped, far more rectangular than ovoid. I absolutely adore it.
Fantastic collection and recommendations TGV! I have the Lunar Pilot. Will look at the Nivada soon. Have a Yema Classic 017 with its in-house auto movement that almost identical to the Junghans.
That Bulova Red Star in deep burgundy is the bomb (the good bomb!). I have such an aversion for quartz but I think it's mainly the single tick per second that turns me off - but that smooth sweep, high accuracy, and 39mm case size has my head turned.
Love the "They Live" reference, one of my favorite genre movies ever. Good topic, snobs will be snobs no matter what they collect: watches, cars, fragrance, stereo equipment, cameras, etc. Plenty of elitism to go around. "Used" or "pre-owned"? You decide. Thanks TGV, always fun content.
The Bulova Lunar pilot you showed is high on my list to get. I saw one on a nice blue leather strap and it looked amazing. The new 262kHz movement is an amazing bit of engineering and given how much you need to spend to get the same sort of quality in quartz from other brands like Grand Seiko it a true bargain. It's odd and a real shame its not in more watches including citizen given they own Bulova. Seems like a massive waste to not use it more. Also looking forward to seeing reviews on the new JetStar watches.
Hey TGV, great episode, as always. Question…what strap did you have paired with the Nivada Chronomaster? I’ve not seen that combo, but really liked the way that the color/texture played against the watch head. Thanks so much for being a voice of truth amidst so much blah blah blah. Please keep it up. Mil Grazie
Thank you so much, the strap was from Holbens, I think it was this one: holbensfinewatchbands.com/products/colareb-ostrich-leather-watch-strap-melbourne-chestnut?variant=31276939477126 Best regards, TGV P.s. this video might help: th-cam.com/video/hjjAfCYTikM/w-d-xo.html
I would like to see a video in your opinion on one of my favorite watches with in-house caliber and history is the BALL Original Standard brand..I rarely see anyone give them a real review on their watches..
The sea quartz by momentum aka magnum pi re-issue and the chronoking Paul Newman by Nivada grenchen. I don’t know about you guys but I’m just loving these watches more and more please this is the watches that brings smiles. And as always still my favourite watch guy bar none keep up the good work I love your vids
Excellent video, I am always enthralled by the presentation of history, specifications, and references all into one coherent piece of media. Curious to hear your thoughts on the Timex Giorgio Galli S2 38mm! Cheers!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Regarding the Timex, it's certainly an interesting one, especially the higher end spec/price (well, for a Timex mechanical). I love the design, clean, modern, tasteful, modern, certainly one to keep well away from me!!! 😅😅💸💸💸 More importantly, what do you think? Best regards, TGV
While on the high end for Timex, I cannot help myself from admiring a tasteful design and simplicity. Granted, the Junghans collection in the video is fair competition featuring a lower price and that continuation of design. Thanks and look forward to the next one!
I absolutely agree on the Bulova. That is, as you said, a serious piece of kit. It's very high on my list actually. So is a SARB03x, I can't decide on a -33 or a -35, or even a -37 if possible to curate. Another "snob-proof" watch, in my opinion, is Certina DS Action Diver. The stats are close to a Tudor BB, but of course it's an ETA movement, and the two tone "bluesy" is super gorgeous, but that PVD gold doesn't look quite enough right for me to buy one. 😢
Great intro! I thought, at the end, TGV should have looked down at the magazine to see a Patek Filippe advertisement with the “You never really own a Patek Philippe...” slogan, and reach to take off the sunglasses then realizing he’s not wearing them. 😄
ive been in the new york watch scene for a while now. ill be honest very very few times have i come across someone who talks shit about a microbrand or anythign like that. most people i know have 80$ seikos to 12k rolex in their collection. Not saying it doesnt happen im just lucky ive come into contact with good people. For example i wore the timex q pepsi gmt to wind up watch fair and got nothing but love for it
My most complimented watch is a $20 Goodfellow & Co. watch I bought at Target. It’s got a black aviator style dial with a black case and chronograph complication looks. It’s all for show. 😂 The hour, minute and seconds hand are the only things that actually move. It came with a nice black SS Mesh Bracelet that I recently switched out for some NATOs. My more expensive watch rarely do I get any compliments when it comes to them. 🤣
Informative and interesting as always, thanks TGV. btw what is the jazzy background music.... awesome, and lastly, as a suggestion - your opinion on Vostok watches, some interesting history behind these as well.....
Getting into the hobby.. I noticed a snoobery about the watch size of over 42MM with some people on YT dismissing them altogether. I'm a 6 foot plus former professional sports man, so watches under 42mm look dinky on my wrist. Unfortunately because of my size, a lot of watches including high end brands like GS & Rolex are out of my size range. My first watch was a Bulova Precisionist rocking a 45mm Watch Size. It suited me fine & looked good on my wrist. I recently bought a Zelos 43mm Great White Diver & it looks perfectly sized on my wrist & I am happy with the 9015 Moyota movement. I find 43-44mm to be the sweet spot for watches.. but a lot of high end watch makers seem to not have anything I like within this size range. Tissot just released a 43 GMT Seastar Powermatic that looks promising. Any comments & suggestions are welcome.
Wonderful topic , TGV! Citizen divers! Nearly any of them are excellent. Well. That goes for nearly any Citizen. I am a Citizen > Seiko guy though. Also the Steinhart Triton has the 1000m spec and helium scape valve. All original design and below a grand. The Lunar Pilot is excellent; hands down inarguably a snob repulser. I know it is having a hey day but the CasiOak has become my favorite G-shock. It just works! The buttons are easy to manipulate, it is incredibly rugged. It is analog/digital. It is truly fantastic. Best Gshock to me at the moment. Certina DS chronograph and divers are simply wonderful. Some may not be fans of the Powermatic, but I love mine. I really like the idea of Laco. Need to add one of those to the collection! Excellent job, TGV. Thank you, as always! Also, might wanna include Orient. They are becoming forgotten again. Keep doing what you do. Learn something every single show. Onward and upward, my friend. Be well.
Fantastic video. Regarding Bulova, I’ve been amazed at how much credit Omega has had over the years simply for being on the wrist… Bulova was on the wrist (in terms of the original Astronaut, as well as the so-dubbed Lunar Pilot) but, much more importantly, a key part of instrumentation in space and on the ground (the Accutron movement). So it truly does show the elitism and ignorance (snobbery) of an individual wearing a Speedy if they go on and on about the space provenance of their timepiece, yet have no idea about Bulova and their sophistication of the time. And… Bulovas are fun, a great value, and the vintage pieces are very reliable vintage watches & still relatively affordable.
While you didn't nominate a Squale this time...I will! I've been wearing a Super Squale for the last few weeks and am positively charmed. On leather it comes in just under a grand, and it looks fantastic on NATO's. I've got it on a Bond-style NATO at the moment, but have had it on a textured, black rubber strap from Bonetto Cinturini that also looked fantastic and was exceptionally comfortable in our current Northeastern heat wave. The rubber strap from BC is so good, it may as well be OEM after getting the size pinned down. Cheers to Squale!
Anything with history and originality is what I prefer the most! no matter the cost! if it inspires others to do great things and save up towards a goal, I think it is worth the effort.
Great video TGV. I can't fault you any of the picks you made. For me, my picks for snob proof watches begin and end with my favorite micro brand.....and the king of the segment as far as I am concerned: Zelos. I own way too many of them, most of them well under $1000 (and yes there are a few over $1000). They are stylish, great performers, great designs, and backed by the best customer service you'll ever encounter. But for me overall, the best snob proof watches are the watches I own and love, regardless of price and regardless of what the chattering class think of them. So that being said, thank you for a great video.....onwards.....upwards......caio.
New subscriber, watch enthusiast and aspiring watch collector here! I reside in Philly and was wondering where you recommend going to physically try on watch pieces like Seiko and beyond my watch collecting journey. Perhaps surrounding counties? Thanks man
Fantastic video TGV, thank you kindly! My entire collection is snob proof - I simply don't care what the snobs think about my watches. Life is far too short for snobbery (of any kind, really) and certainly too short to let someone else's snobbery bring you down. Wear what you love and what works for your lifestyle. If I were to pick another to add to your list, it would be the humble Casio Duro. A no nonsense diver that is cheap as chips, tough as nails, and so widely beloved that even the snobs can't fault it.
All on point as ever. I would also recommend going for something left field, that is beyond the knowledge of the watch snobs, because for so many of them its Rolex and nothing else. Something vintage but new, old stock. So, it looks fabulous but has history beyond the understanding of the snob. Something like your Ricoh. I've just got a Revue (Vulcain) Kilimanjaro from the 1970s, new, old stock that looks amazing.
I love the Square so much that I bought an original 5000C plus the Hero, and two Speeds. With current ones, i trade out the plastic straps for something more comfortable with the help of Jays & Kays, who I found out from you, TGV! When I miss winding a watch, I grab a Hamilton KFM - it’s very satisfying.
What is the song that starts at 1:57 ? I cannot identify it for the life of me! Lovely video by the way. Absolutely love the diverse takes that appreciate a brands heritage, approach, and direction in the horological world we find ourselves in.
I think that if Bulova wants to make the Lunar Pilot truly watch snob proof and a worthy affordable alternative to the Omega Speedmaster Professional. They are going to have to offer it with a mechanical movement. And if they want to up the ante even more. They will also give it an exhibition case back.
Vostok Amphibia, for around $70 for a Russian imported one you get a something with true horological significance, 200 meter water resistance, hundreds of options in case and dial designs, and an in house movement with a 10 year service interval. Best bang first your buck.
I too respect and admire the Bulova Lunar Pilot and miss mine having parted company with it due to it wearing far too big for me - I have tried the ‘smaller’ new release but it’s still gargantuan - please Bulova - for the love of God - take a leaf out of the Seiko Speedtimers book and release a wearable 39mm version - I might even be tempted to change my BB36 for one if you do
The Bulova moon watch is stunning. The black dial is the blackest black I've ever seen, contrasting with the white hands is awesome. The Price makes it a homerun.
Great video my friend! I already have one of the original Bulova Moon watches but I really like the white dial. I don't remember if my watch is 45 or 43mm. I'll have to whip out the dear old micrometer! Cheers!
Great piece, as always. Your dad picture at 10:09 was taken in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. Such a small world we live in. Greetings from the land on the sunny side of the Alps.
My favorites in the $300 to $700 range: Citizen Tsuyosa Bulova moon watch (43mm) Hamilton Khaki Field That Jorg Gray watch that Obama wore all the time, it was a chrono with the black dial with white stitching
I've been seeing a lot of snobbery on Reddit and it's quite dismaying-I'm happy there's someone keeping it real with high quality production value + entertainment/information. As for excellent ~*value proposition*~ watches, I'd have to go with the Swatch Once Again Gent. Similar to your points on Junghans, the dial is extremely legible, classic (hearkens to one of Swatch's first releases, so it ticks the horological history box) and the price is an absolute steal. Granted, its cost is a fraction of the prescribed budget, but it's still my top pick. Never "cheap", always extremely "affordable". Another thing I've learned from this channel.
Loved the video…I have two of the for mentioned watches..being Canadian I have a Marathon Navigator purchased from Mark at Long Island Watch and the Bulova Lunar Pilot which is very accurate and every bit as nice as the Omega SpeedMaster which I used to own. Thanks from a long time Nova Scotia Subscriber. Cheers MikeR. ( P.S. I 'm also a big fan of Casio G Shock Squares, one of which is on my wrist as I write this..lol! )
I love my Bulova LP, BUT, as mentioned elsewhere already, a mechanical version does intrigue me (regardless of price). Anyway as always, great episode, i love the choices you shared, but would be remiss if i didn't also mention that there are great options from citizen also, i own 2 Chronos (a red arrows and blue angels)
Hi TGV, thanks for your always interesting videos. Been a fan, for a number of years now. Hoping you may be able to help with some advice on how to get a Seiko Bell Matic 4006-6011 serviced in Melbourne Aus or anywhere reputable you would recommend? Am originally from the UK, but now live in Melb. Have visited official Seiko dealers, but they will not service my watch. It's originally my Dad's from the late 60s, I believe, so has much sentimental value. Any help would be much appreciated 🙂 Keep up the good work!
Another great video ! Please do a review of the Seiko 5 Sports 55th Anniversary Limited Edition SRPK17 and see what the snobs say. You've been responsible for at least 3 of my watch purchases, but I'm on the fence about this one because it's twice the price that I'm comfortable paying ......
Dude...I'm not gonna lie....great freakin video! I have never heard (writing his while I'm watching it) of Nivada Grenchen. ..and i dig it!! I went to their website and looked through the collection and I've got to be real...I've never seen better looking watches across the board. I'm for sure on the hunt! Great vid! New fan here!
Nice selection! I’ve also got a few vintage pieces too if we’re including; Wyler, Wittnauer & Oris under that mark. I’m wondering about Orient/Star too but my final pick since I just picked one up from an AD for under $400 😁would be the Hamilton (Intra-Matic 38mm). Minimalism done with style (Retro Americana) and I’ve not ever seen it replicated nor do I think we ever will because of Hamiltons great branding. I’d take it over the Junghans minimalism style too and over Hamilton’s Military heritage because they are designed with a great standard but still with a tool-functionality intent 💪🏼 Hey I think this could be a very popular reoccurring series theme for your channel too, hope you consider! 🙌🏼
I nominate Citizen promaster diver eco-drive. I just recently got one and i cant put it down. Very comfortable to wear and accurate quartz timekeeping. ISO diver's watch rating. Can definitely serve as a one watch collection.
It would be really awesome if Bulova made a Lunar pilot with a mechanical hand wind movement. It seems some don't know. Seems like a regression to make a chronograph with inferior technology for the sake of an insanely high markup.

Why oh why is Bulova not mining their outstanding and historic back catalogue for re-releases??? Some of their vintage military watches are sublime!
Well, they are though? The Milships, the Accutron (sister brand) Astronaut GMT, the Lunar Pilot itself, the Jet Star they just released, etc, etc.
Some watches don't need remaking...they're too nostalgic to wear right now, as they'll never be appreciated by the current generation of wearers. It's like asking, "Why don't they make more pocket watches?"
@@TheTillmanSneakerReviewexcept pocket watches are still made and people do still appreciate them.

Once again, the opening video editing is stellar! Well done TGV! The Laco coverage makes my heart sing.
The big problem with Bulova's 262hz movements is the reduced battery life. I would love for Citizen to find a way to combine their eco-drive tech with their bulova precisionist movements. That would make it truly a fantastic watch.
Eco-Drive/Precisionist/Solar
@@jonsonnenschein1253Eco-Drive is solar, isn’t it?
You are so right about a G Shock, every home needs one. Clearly the square steels the limelight, whether that be the bas 5600, or slightly pricier abd updated 5610. But ultimately there's nothing the base 5600 misses from the 5610, ultimately they both do the same thing, tell the time. However I'll argue you need 3 g-shocks- a Casioak- they wear really nicely, have a 5610, it does everything and has tough solar, but have something special- a 5000u, and put a combi bracelet on it for a premium wearing experience. Those 3 and your g-shock collection is complete.
Top video as always a TGV 👏🏻 May I ask where you get your film posters from? Thanks! 🦖
Beautifully made as always. These are such useful videos for getting ideas. My watch fun is to get nice pieces for under 500 Euros. So Dan Henrys, Seikos, Orients, Casios are always of interest.
One day you should mention the Oceanus lineup in these videos. They really are amazing.
Hi TGV
Still keeping on presenting great watches that are not especially expensive. I really love that attitude about your channel.😊
Keep up the good work👍
“Really 007!” 😂 Great list on a good topic.
Stopped at 0:30 simply to hail your reference to They Live. Couldn't love your channel more at this point - thank you
Another exceedingly enjoyable installment!
TGV, I always appreciate your immense watch knowledge and that you share it with such a degree of attention to detail. Cheers my friend.
🙏🙏🙏 You honor my friend. Thank you so much.
Here's to you 🥂😎
Best regards,
TGV
The Bulova Lunar pilot you showed is high on my list to get. I saw one on a nice blue leather strap and it looked amazing. The new 262kHz movement is an amazing bit of engineering and given how much you need to spend to get the same sort of quality in quartz from other brands like Grand Seiko it a true bargain. It's odd and a real shame its not in more watches including citizen given they own Bulova. Seems like a massive waste to not use it more. Also looking forward to seeing reviews on the new JetStar watches.
Credor is another good brand to look into if interested in HAQ. Just incredible value to be had on the greymarket
Mil Grazie
Thank you so much, the strap was from Holbens, I think it was this one:

P.s. this video might help:

I would like to see a video in your opinion on one of my favorite watches with in-house caliber and history is the BALL Original Standard brand..I rarely see anyone give them a real review on their watches..
I think the Zodiac Seawolf deserves a review, due to it‘s tremendous history.
Glycine Airman has to fit in this category as well. Good video, always enjoy
Sea Quartz has authenticity while maintaining a reasonable price.
Best regards,
TGV
I love the intro. That movie changed how I look at everything.
ive been in the new york watch scene for a while now. ill be honest very very few times have i come across someone who talks shit about a microbrand or anythign like that. most people i know have 80$ seikos to 12k rolex in their collection. Not saying it doesnt happen im just lucky ive come into contact with good people. For example i wore the timex q pepsi gmt to wind up watch fair and got nothing but love for it
Great video! Thank you for all the information. Question, where did you get the large wrist watch wall art piece?
My most complimented watch is a $20 Goodfellow & Co. watch I bought at Target. It’s got a black aviator style dial with a black case and chronograph complication looks. It’s all for show. 😂 The hour, minute and seconds hand are the only things that actually move. It came with a nice black SS Mesh Bracelet that I recently switched out for some NATOs. My more expensive watch rarely do I get any compliments when it comes to them. 🤣
Fantastic video TGV. Loving the watches and as always your production value is next level!
Excellent video sir, always loved the “THEY LIVE” reference 👏 A wee bit above the £1000 budget but how about Doxa being a snob proof brand ?
Love the choices and pleased to have several of them in my collection. Thanks for always keeping it classy TGV!
The stuff on the thumbnail always looks great;)! Thanks lots for the great content as always, Sir TGV, and have a great week ahead!
Great video, a nice change, some good choices, and it's good to see you have other thoughts on other watches...👍👍
Still the best watch channel ever! TGV always deliver the best quality watch content! Pure class!
Be well.
Quality upload and production again Tristano. Grazie mille! O&U
Nice variety of watches, I learned from you. Subscribed !
Thanks man
Excellent TGV! Your editing skills are among the best on TH-cam.
TGV, that Queen Mary ship model on top of your bookcase is absolutely fantastic!
May I ask where you got it?
I love the Square so much that I bought an original 5000C plus the Hero, and two Speeds. With current ones, i trade out the plastic straps for something more comfortable with the help of Jays & Kays, who I found out from you, TGV!
When I miss winding a watch, I grab a Hamilton KFM - it’s very satisfying.
Bravo bravo. By far the best watch channel on youtube. Been watching you for years.
New Urban Gentry Video, I do not hate Monday's anymore.
I will definitely be getting the Casio DW-290, before the end of the year.
I too respect and admire the Bulova Lunar Pilot and miss mine having parted company with it due to it wearing far too big for me - I have tried the ‘smaller’ new release but it’s still gargantuan - please Bulova - for the love of God - take a leaf out of the Seiko Speedtimers book and release a wearable 39mm version - I might even be tempted to change my BB36 for one if you do
An amazing list and range of watches. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all.
The Willard saw actual combat, as much as I admire Schwarzenegger, he's just an Actor/bodybuilder, actual GI's used the Willard.
I can bet good money more than a few arnies have seen actual combat. Bit of a moot point, no?
The Bulova moon watch is stunning. The black dial is the blackest black I've ever seen, contrasting with the white hands is awesome. The Price makes it a homerun.
Sieko and Laco are on my short list of watches to buy. I have a Bulova Precisionist as my go to watch. Thanks for this!
Great video my friend! I already have one of the original Bulova Moon watches but I really like the white dial. I don't remember if my watch is 45 or 43mm. I'll have to whip out the dear old micrometer! Cheers!
Stumbled upon your channel again, incredible how your production value increases with every year. 🐐🐐🐐
Always a fun vid, this one particularly fun with some suds,,,..er a draft? I mean a um lager! Cheers TGV!!!🎉
You should not drink and bake!!!!!!!!😂😅😂😅
Great piece, as always. Your dad picture at 10:09 was taken in the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. Such a small world we live in. Greetings from the land on the sunny side of the Alps.
My favorites in the $300 to $700 range:
Citizen Tsuyosa
Bulova moon watch (43mm)
Hamilton Khaki Field
That Jorg Gray watch that Obama wore all the time, it was a chrono with the black dial with white stitching
$950 Plus shipping PreBond gold and back face Full size Automatic from ebay in USA. Serviced from a shop with 100 positive reviews.
TGV again a great video thx , when will the rest off your Italian trip be on you tube.
Please do a review of the Seiko 5 Sports 55th Anniversary Limited Edition
SRPK17 and see what the snobs say.
Great video , one question , who cleans the war room ? it always looks so clean
Would love to see a video of your fitness regime TGV, what watches you wear to work out and how you stay in shape on the daily
I nominate Citizen promaster diver eco-drive. I just recently got one and i cant put it down. Very comfortable to wear and accurate quartz timekeeping. ISO diver's watch rating. Can definitely serve as a one watch collection.
Great list! I have that same red Bulova Jetstar and its fantastic, both in styling and its amazing accuracy! Onward and upward!
Excellent video as usual. I’m thinking of picking up the NG Depthmaster thanks TGV!
Very good, love all of this. Cheers!
nice/very fast moving & entertaining , good job tgv
