Lots of fire engines and emergency vehicles at Exercise Deva Flame

Lots of different types of fire engines, several ambulance vehicles and a number of police cars operating at Exercise Deva Flame in Chester. Featuring the new Scorpion!
On Monday, May 9th, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service alongside North West Ambulance Service, Cheshire Police, Cheshire West and Chester Council held a simulated fire exercise at Rosies Nightclub in the historic City of Chester.
The simulated fire scenario practised the emergency services response to a multi-casualty incident involving a fire in a nightclub, in a dense part of a historic city centre.
The exercise required a large number of Pumping Appliances and specialist units such as the new High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET) known as a 'Scorpion', as can be seen in the video! This appliance has a water tower that can reach fires at height or below-grade. It comes complete with a piercing-end that can pierce into materials to extinguish fire in dangerous compartments.

If they were all wholetime firefighters that would probably leave the rest of the county with retained cover. Cheshire relies heavily on retained firefighters (like most rural brigades).

not seen them on other county pumps only on Cheshire F&R but love the new rear side blue lights juat before the end lockers. just a shame there was no light on top of the sides above the lockers or it would of been a full package for looks for me.
