To make all this even wilder Jason and Ali are both technically biological half siblings with Cece, Alex, and Spencer because their moms are identical twins
Aren’t Alex and Spencer biological full siblings with Jason because they share the same father and have mothers who are identical twins

@@itscadencee4legally yes, they are cousins in the eyes of the law and in society for how we define the cousin relationship. But genetically their DNA is a similar as siblings because their mothers are genetically identical twins, which have exactly the same genes and DNA.
So, if Jason and Spencer's DNA was analysed to determine if they were related, the test would say they are full siblings as the test could tell that (according to DNA) Jason and Spencer (and therefore Alex as well) share the same biological mother and father.

I'm a firm believer that Alex pretending to be Spencer to sleep with Toby was the writers way of leaving a window open for the entire storyline to replay in the next generation. Who's to say when she escaped from Mona's dollhouse and disappeared that she didn't go on to have more secret babies just like everything that happened with mama Mary before?

Having all of them be IDENTICAL twins makes everything just SPICIER😭 A genetic hot mess that I'm 100% sure the writers didn't know was going to be analyzed 10 years later😂
- I think it would have made a bit more sense if they had switched Emily and Allison's places for the whole surrogate plotline, just my thought though. I stopped watching in season 5 so who am I to say😂

the reason alison and emily have twins is because when you implant fertilized eggs into someone, it's very likely more than one embryo takes, thus fraternal twins

love the "how I would have ended PLL" idea, I've loved that from some other people. Also wish PLL had more of a fanfic tradition. yes, there was a bunch of it, but I feel it's not that searchable, on tumblr. I wish there was a lot more au and season rewrites especially, because I want new PLL content... just well written, and I don't trust the official sources for that. Obviously there is bad fanfic, but it's not as much of a time investment.
I do have a lot written for the show on Wattpad and Fanfiction. Both original tv show characters and my own next generation characters.

Just an FYI a lot of babies are born with blue eyes and blonde hair no matter what their eye color ends up being. Though I do agree with Em’s Filipino genes that is so beyond unlikely
as a brazilian (we have a crazy mix of ethnicities) i can attest that it’s more common than you would think. my own brother was born blond and blue eyed, both of which later got darker, and our mom is about 1/4 indigenous/ white mix and my dad’s black.

i think peter and veronica got divorced in the last season, but he still helps veronica in her political activities (as far as i can remember). Honestly, good for her, he was SUCH a crappy husband
Yes he was and Veronica deserved much better. He wasn't supportive in their marriage and Veronica felt like she couldn't be vulnerable because Peter would see it as weakness. When she had cancer she felt like she couldn't tell Peter because she didn't want him to think of her as weak. Partnership should be supportive and making someone think having an illness makes them weak or less than is so TOXIC.
And he cheated on her several times and a) made her watch his affair child grow up next door and b) bring his other affair child into their house and expect her to raise said child.
And I remember some scenes where they clashed a bit over their careers as both were very career driven, but I recall Peter feeling that his career was more important so he expected Veronica to compromise all the time so he could get his way and prioritise his career.
What a shitty entitled ASSHOLE. He expected others to compromise for him but he wasn't willing to do the same.
Im so glad they split.
And yes, I know they are fictional characters but when shows depict these horrible relationships and don't address that they are bad relationships it sends the wrong message to impressionable young people who are not mature enough to recognise they are bad. This sets them up to seek or accept shitty relationships or abuse in their own life as they think its ok.

This makes me wonder if the Hastings and DiLaurentis’s chose to live next door to each other and maybe wanted to be closer to each other for that reason…..because if not, idk why they’d wanna be around each other especially Peter and Veronica. As for Spencer and Ali….Spencer deserved a better cousin because Ali was a monster. I always though that there was a connection between those families considering how rich and prominent they are in Rosewood.

I asked a lot of questions when I was pregnant with my twins. Twins run in the paternal side of the family so it’s inherited from the father. Also it skips so it is unlikely for a twin to go on to have twins. However, I see what they were going for for tv purposes

season 6b and 7 was such a shitshow, they did spoby so dirty, there was just one dumbass plot twist after the next, and giving spencer a long lost evil twin was one of the worst things i’ve ever had to sit through - it ended so nicely at the end of 6a, there was absolutely no need for it to continue except money

Melissa and Jason are the same age, Melissa is older but not by much theyre the same age number wise though! Also Charlotte is two months older than Jason she was born in July 1988 and she was born in May 1988.

Ashley & Jason slept together & she’s Hanna’s mum, making another connection for Hanna

my question is when did cece find out her last name was actually drake…like she was introduced to the liars as cece drake so did she pick that last name out at random or did she know all along that mary was her biological mom??
When she’s introduced she knows she was adopted and Mary is her birth mother but she never met Mary so she still sees Jessica as her real mom
The only defense for the idea that the twins would have light eyes and hair is that babies sometimes retain blond hair and blue eyes up until about six or eight. (Several examples in my own family of half Hispanics) however there is no evidence at all that they have Southeast Asian features which negates the one defense.
it is very common for eye colour and hair colour to change within the first few years of a child's life. That is why the babies are blonde. Also twins and multiple births are common for in vitro. Because you want to maximize the chances of a egg being sucessful they implant multiple fertilized eggs

Fraternal twins runs in the women’s side because it can only happen when 2 eggs are dropped. Identical twins can be from either side because it is after conception that a single eggs splits into 2.

Besides, the thing about “twins run in the family not having sense bc it doesnt run in wrens or emily’s family” is irrelevant, most of the time when you use eggs and sperm donors for in vitro fertilization is very common ending up with twins (identical or fraternal) bc of the egg selection process they go through
So cece is older then jason by like 15 months

The 50% of DNA a parent passes on to their child can contain recessive genes that haven't become dominant in generations and then you'll see them kick in again out of nowhere. That's likely why Grace and Lily end up blond and blue eyed.
One or both of the biological parents could have passed the appropriate genes down while they were recessive, but for Grace and Lily they became dominant instead. And yes that is how genetics work.
How much do we actually know about Emily's family or Wren's to say that's not what happened to make Grace and Lily turn out that way?
