I have to admit, I've never seen Pretty Little Liars (I'm old). But I do love a good audition tape. Can I just tell you, I was almost in tears as you started talking about getting the part, and flying first class, and loving your hotel room. It was even wonderful to see your excitement as you rewatched it all these years later. This may be a little late, but congrats on landing the role.

Shay is a little too hard on herself 😄 Even just from the audition tape where she is super nervous and kind of shy, theres a real nostalgic kick. From the very first line of the read-through you can see Emily's character just coming to life.
I'm so glad Shay helped bring the PLL world to life. I'm glad we got to see Shay grow from quiet and nervous, into the amazing actress and inspirational person that she is now ❤
I can honestly say, I cant think of a single person who would have been more perfect for the role of Emily Fields. Thank you, Shay ❤
