Hi. I am 12 years old and I watch you all the time! I LOVE your channel. I know I am young but I love to cook, clean, and bake. I taught myself to can this summer, and this year I plan on canning more because I am inspired by you. I have been growing a garden for 3 years so far. I grow 2 plastic strips a 100 feet long each plus a dirt garden. I am in Ontario Canada, so our growing season might not be as long as yours. I would LOVE to meet you someday! When harvest comes in I would love to send you a video of my garden
@Ange Torre ...would luv luv to see you create a channel from a 12 year olds perspective!!! Much needed! Also , great job on what you have learned and accomplished!!!!
“I do the things like go to the dump, clean up, and feed him so that he can be the one who’s got the really good personality” 😆 this was hilarious! I don’t think it meant to come out that way but it sounded hilarious. You both are great and have different strengths to bring to the table. That’s how it should be! Love watching y’all work together to make your house a home 😍 btw he doesn’t need to be on camera more if he doesn’t want to. He’s got nothing to prove to us!
I would never ever think that Josh does less than you, I’m quite a shy person myself but my husband is more outgoing so I understand that we may not see all the hard work that Josh contributes, really enjoying watching your home renovation ❤️
This ☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼 plus doesn’t Josh do a ton of behind the scenes tech stuff? Partners compliment each other ❤️ Everyone has the things they are good at and it’s not like we see everything that goes on 🤷🏼♀️
I’m so invested in this home renovation this is the 4th time I’ve checked today to see if there was a new video lol. I LOVE what you’re doing Becky & Josh. You’re channel is really what got me into bulk buying.
I don't know much about renos but wouldn't it make more sense to finish all the painting BEFORE putting the trim around the windows and doors?? It will save you the time and mess of taping.. no?? That aside.. I love seeing this new phase but I'm also SO jealous as I sit here in my little apartment! You're living so much of the life I wish I could be living! I'm just grateful I can at least live vicariously through your videos so THANK YOU and JOSH for sharing everything! You make my sheltered little world a little bigger.. 💗 P.s... I prefer the smaller broom too! I laughed because as a kid, my Dad and I constantly bickered over my broom choice! 🤣🤣🤣 But while the push broom covered more territory in one sweep, the bristles were more spaced out so it never got the fine dust and I'd always want to go back over with the small broom anyway so it was actually less efficient!!! 🙄😂
I just have to say I love when Josh is in the videos it’s nice to see the supportive relationship you two have. You are so cute together. And it looks amazing great job so far.
You should do all your painting before you put your trim up would make all that painting much easier. Also, there is a free column on craigslist that you could post all that trim rather than taking it to a land fill.
Loving the progress, Becky! It's nice to see that Josh is feeling more comfortable on camera so we can see his projects too. My partner and I have a similar attitude about divide and conquer to each of our strengths with our renovation. If you still need help with changing all the outlets and switches, my partner is an electrician and we're local. We'd be glad to help.
@kasea that's such a nice offer! I was thinking after the first home tour video when she suggested they'd hire someone to change all the switch plates that maybe it would b easier to just plan to do one room/month. Then it gets done on a schedule and doesn't cost them an electricians expensive time. Also, thought it might b boring for the electrician. Different story if they were also needing actual electrical work done. Hope they can consider your generous offer of help. 🤗
So nice to see more of Josh. I don’t think anyone ever thought Josh didn’t do anything. We all got being on camera wasn’t his thing and the channel was more your gig. Looks like it’s shifting gears with the new home and it’s a family gig now!!
I just had my last day of finals today, and i was so anxious thinking about it because im not sure how i did. there's nothing like a good acre homestead video to clear your mind
I'm in a similar boat. Either way you did the best you could. School is hard, I think it's normal to be a little anxious. I'm sure you did great though, either way congratulations on being finished for atleast a minute. 👏 👏 👏
My intention is to praise you, so I want to make that clear when I say this. I’m not trying to say you seem old or anything like that. You are so mature! I assume you’re in your mid, late twenties or early thirties, and you just have it together! It’s refreshing to see a young couple so focused on their future. Good job, y’all are doing amazing!
Becky you are such a dynamo. I think you are the hardest working person on TH-cam. No wonder you were worn out. Loading and unloading all the trim, carpet and that heavy rubber padding. For 3 loads to the dump. That is hard work even on a cool day. I’m glad that Josh is on the videos with you. I like it when he is on the video even if he just smiles and waves. You guys work so well together. PS my husband is like Josh when it comes to the detail work. Josh did an excellent job with the the trim and I love that style you chose.
Just thoroughly loving this season of life that you and Josh are in and glad you are bringing us along with you! The two of you are so considerate of each other and compliment each other so well ❤ love the dog wheel too!
Congratulations on your new forever home! Just wanted to give you and Josh props for all you do! You 2 are so cute together! Your parents raised 2 extremely hard working, kind, loving people! It’s a breath of fresh air to see such a hard working young couple in this day and age! So props to you, Josh and your parents! Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with all of us! ❤
Might want to paint before installing the trim. Painting will go on fast, no cutting in etc. Just a thought. Your new home is gorgeous! Best of luck and much happiness in your forever home!
When you remove your horticultural trees, shrubs, and perennials consider replanting them along the edges of the property where they are semi-sheltered etc...and can kinda live like a native and naturalized plant. Either for interest on thier own or, for re-planting in a more orchestrated bed later on.
In case you need another slow cooker meal: I have been making this since I first got my first Rival crock pot and this recipe was in the recipe book that was included maybe 30 or more years - I now use Panko crumbs instead of bread crumbs usually Bachelor Stew (serving 6)Rival Crock-Pot cookbook Ingredients: 2 lb. Beef Chuck 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs 1 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon leaf basil 1/3 cup quick-cooking tapioca 1 can (4 oz.) sliced mushrooms or stems & pieces 2 cans (10 3/4 oz. each) condensed Tomato soup 1 cup beef broth or water to rinse out the can from soup. 1 large onion, cut into eighths 3 carrots pared, split lengthwise and cut into 4 inch strips 4 celery stalks, cut into 1-inch pieces I usually add 1 or 2 potatoes pared & cut to about the size other vegetables 1 teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet I have used other sauces instead or Worcester sauce. Recipe instructions: Wipe beef cubes well Combine bread crumbs with salt, pepper and toss with beef. Place coated beef cubes in Crock Pot and other ingredients; stir well. Cover and cook on Low setting for 10 to 12 hours. (on high 3 to 4 hours). I like to put it together in the evening and let it cook all night or in the morning and forget it till dinner time.
Ya'll are such good partners in renovations (yes, I am southern). Glad to see Josh joining the channel. Also, so happy you found your forever home. I will be beautiful, of course.
Wow Josh! What a great idea for the dog exercise wheel!! That's a piece of Art!! And I know Josh works just as hard as you. You both are awesome! That view is amazing too 😍😍. Take care and God bless you both!! And Josh, Happy "Fur-Baby" Father's Day!
My husband and I have the same debate!! I like the smaller angled broom because I like how it gets the corners and edges better and I can manage it easier lol
You two are such a sweet couple! You remind me of the TH-cam channel, "Hannah's Happy Home!" Ever since they bought the home they live in, her hubby is in a lot of their videos now! He did much of the remodeling and all the finishing! Now they're remodeling a flip house. It so enjoyable to watch you young couples working together to accomplish your goals! I enjoy you channel very much. And am looking forward to following along on this adventure with you! Love and hugs!
Those of us who have followed you for awhile know how much Josh does and has always done around the homestead. Your irrigation system didn't build itself! He and your dad both take care of dishes and you've always given credit to him for all he does ..if you guys could clone him I'd get in line for a copy!
Omg! You guys are rocking this Reno! Josh is so talented, beautiful woodworking! Always love your videos, I’m always sad when they’re over! Can’t wait till the next one.
Becky, I love that you leave in the bits where you say a different word from the one you meant. I have learning disabilities, and that is exactly what happens to me all the time. It's so refreshing to see that I'm not the only one that does that. Also, your upbeat personality about everything is so refreshing as well. Congratulations on your new home. You and Josh deserve it and more! ❤
It’s so awesome that you brought the dogs into the store with you! When I first moved back home after my divorce to get my feet back under me my parents brought my little cairn terrier everywhere while I was at work. They took him into Lowe’s one time and put him into the cart. The first time there was squeaky dog toys (his fave) at the register. My mom squeaked one just to get a reaction out of him. He reacted so that they had to buy it to stop his carrying on. After that every time they took him into Lowe’s he would wait for the register and bark his fool head off for whatever was displayed at the register (never was there any dog toys again). One time he grabbed cloths to wash your car, another was a pack of batteries, another a garden hose nozzles. He just accepted what ever was there to be his toy. The same problem, to this day, with Dollar Tree. He has to get a toy from there. One time my mom needed a new evening purse so she hopped into Goodwill real quick to see if she could find one. She did. She got back into the car and put the bag with her purse in it in the back seat with him. But my crazy cairn, Smokey Joe, was happy as a pig in pooh because he knew that inside that bag was a toy for him and destroyed the bag. The purse had to be mended. Such fun.
Running errands and such ALWAYS exhausts me! If I have to do more than two stops, I'm toast! That moment you caught of the dog running, tongue hanging out, is just magical. YES those dogs love their new home. I replayed that moment a few times, because he is just SO very happy. I agree with cutting out some of the overgrown landscaping. It's pretty, color-wise, though. Maybe keep those colors in mind for future plants. Your view is so fantastic. You really lucked out on that property! xoxo
Get as much rest as you can muster in between jobs and all the work. It can be easy to forget about how much all the small physical labor type jobs can wear your down until they all add up. Up and down ladders, bending over and kneeling for the flooring then all that lifting of the stuff for the dump. Not gonna lie I would definitely need to sit down and rest after all that too! You both are doing such an amazing job so far, it's so exciting!! Lots of love to you, Josh and your ADORABLE furbabies😘💕
I'm a HUGE fan of angled brooms. There's nothing better in my book than a good straw angled broom. My husband and I have the same "discussion" over feather dusters (him) vs. swiffer dusters (me).
Well feather dusters and swiffer dusters work differently (one knocks dust off a surface onto a surface you would wipe or vacuum away, the other catches it with static).
The remodeling videos bring back memories of when my husband was here and we remodeled our homes years ago. My husband and I enjoyed remodeling and I sure miss that. Your new Homestead is wonderful. It is great having a big yard.
Becky I thoroughly enjoy your channel no matter if it's cooking, gardening or renovating! ❤ Josh does beautiful work; you should be both proud of your many skills.
Best video ever! I love that Josh is letting you film him now....that "bye, guys" at the end was absolutely perfect! Y'all make a great team, and it's fun to watch you build your dreams together!
Hi Becky! I have a tip for you- When working on the floor for extended periods, sit on a furniture mover, one of those little square things that are covered with carpet and have wheels. You can scoot along and not kill your knees or back. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
Love the way you and josh work so well together! Real loving teamwork, can’t wait to see it completed.Happy for the both of you, such a hard working couple.
You guys are both so hard working, that is evident! I am shocked people would suggest Josh did less. Its the sign of a great partnership when both parties play to their strengths. You are both great at what you do. I know that Josh is a little camera shy, but I am glad to see more of him recently - you are such a great team, and its great to see you working together towards your goals. Your house will be beautiful, and long may you both enjoy it. Much love from Nottingham, UK x
The cuddle and smiles at the end ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙 what a busy time you both are having. Loving being on your journey because this home is amazing and your going to make it even better 🥰
My cat Luca is in love with you Becky. Every time he hears your voice he comes barreling in sliding sideways and watches your content with me...He is absolutely smitten with you!!!!
So glad you recognized the need to get some rest. I wondered how you were going to push so hard at your current home, work all day at you new home, and publish all these videos. You have the rest of your lives to renovate that beautiful homestead. I'm so over the top excited for you both and your new adventures.
I'm enjoying watching all of these moving videos. 2 years ago i was on life support and in the hospital for a month, so i missed a lot. Lol. I'm having a great time this morning! Thank you Becky and Josh.
Hi Rebecca! I'm STILL so thrilled for you! Your new house/homestead is soooooo beautiful and I'm so glad for you! Loving your reno videos and looking forward to more cooking (in due time lol 😍)!
I can not believe you took all that trim to the dump. That could have been sold on marketplace or donated on marketplace. Love what you are doing and will enjoy seeing both you and your husband on the channel. Keep up the good work.
Love it Becky. Having time off together and doing this project just warms my heart. So glad Josh isn’t so camera shy anymore. If we all showed up for your house warming he wouldn’t be able to hide 😂😂. It’s be nice if we lived closer so we could have a house warming for you dear. And you’d not have to cook for us all. We’d do a potluck 👍
Sweet Becky and Josh too :) a push broom is good for garages and patios but for indoor work and corners and easy handling, the angled broom is your best bet. But that is just my choice. I have both and they both serve a purpose. Big hugs. God is so good and gracious to us all and I love watching your videos. Thanks for taking me along. I am 66 years old and bought a farm at 62. May God bless you and keep you, may He shine His face upon and increase your peace (you are already lovely).
Omg you don’t know how much I am loving this, I always look forward to your posts but now even more so. It made me smile when you said you are the one who does the cleaning and feeding and Josh does the fine finishes to details etc. but I’m am just so excited to follow you on this new adventure of yours. 😊
Aloha from Oahu, You guys are so adorbs. Love the new house and your Channel rocks girl. Your numbers are growing, I see huge things happening for you. Keep it up Becky
I’m so excited to watch you guys on this new adventure!!!! I feel you, my husband is a mechanical engineer….very picky!!!! I consider myself support staff….lol
I am loving this series. I hope this turns out exactly as you want. You are lucky to be able to share all these life experiences .. it's a wonderful way to build memories.
Oh you guys!! That crown molding looks super!! Your house and property are beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing your new forever home journey with us!! Hugs and blessings! Your 2 boys are going to love it! 🐕🐕
Morning Becky, I like an angled broom for sweeping and getting close to the edges and corners. You need to wear some knee pads for working on the floors. Becky how far is the new house from the old house? The pups are the sweetest. Are they enjoying the new house & yard? They are going to have a lot more freedom in the new house. The trim around the door looks amazing. Great job.
I love seeing all of these progress updates! The dogs seeing the property for the first time was so sweet, that’s always my favorite part of moving somewhere new :)
I love seeing both of you on camera! It’s a shame that you feel compelled to explain that Josh actually does things just bc we don’t see him on camera as often as we see you. Healthy relationships play to each other’s strengths and you can tell that is what you do!
Your running around inspired me to do some things around the house, even if it was not as exciting as getting a new home ready! I felt like a slug watching you run around ;) but sometimes slug time is absolutely needed! I hope you got back to your rest with a view.
Beautiful work on the trim, and that dog wheel is absolutely brilliant! Our little dog would love out-of course she'd need a much smaller version. Josh should definitely market that!
That's so much progress already! Someone suggested in a previous video that you do all the painting of the walls before installing the trim, so you don't have to deal with edges. With the trim off, I can see what they mean.
Angled broom definitely! 😊 My husband also tells me to use the push broom.. It just feels awkward to use the push broom in the house.. now if I’m doing the driveway or walkway outside it’s just different. Excited to see the all the updates to your new home.. it’s beautiful.. but most of all I can’t wait to see your new garden!😊 Congratulations on your forever home!
You have no idea how excited I get when you post a new video. Especially with the home renovation! I appreciate the frequency of your posts considering how busy you must be! 😌
Love your teamwork. Your energy is over the top! Love the sunglasses. Always enjoy all your videos and the leave in bloopers! So excited for you both , what a great home.

Me too! I got my head set in while I’m at work to try and keep up with this renovation. We’re doing the same thing with our new home.

I like both, whichever is closer to me when I need one lol
Well feather dusters and swiffer dusters work differently (one knocks dust off a surface onto a surface you would wipe or vacuum away, the other catches it with static).
Your energy level astounds me! And your pups are adorable! The trim is beautiful. Love the simplicity!
OMG what an awesome dog exercise toy ! Enjoyed this video as usual 😻
Josh is going to double your views. We love to see you both! You both are amazing. So excited for you both.
Love the way you and josh work so well together! Real loving teamwork, can’t wait to see it completed.Happy for the both of you, such a hard working couple.
I love watching you all! Love seeing Josh too and dogs!!
Idk why Josh doesn’t like being on camera…he’s so cute!
The cuddle and smiles at the end ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙 what a busy time you both are having. Loving being on your journey because this home is amazing and your going to make it even better 🥰
Why aren’t you painting before installing the trim? Surely that would be faster and more efficient.
As soon as you asked the which broom question, I said, out loud, "shop vac!" 🤣
Josh's woodworking skills are AWESOME! Great job! Love the smiles you give one another!!
My cat Luca is in love with you Becky. Every time he hears your voice he comes barreling in sliding sideways and watches your content with me...He is absolutely smitten with you!!!!
This is amazing! What a difference the trim makes!!! Lots of work and I love how you both work together!!!
So glad you recognized the need to get some rest. I wondered how you were going to push so hard at your current home, work all day at you new home, and publish all these videos. You have the rest of your lives to renovate that beautiful homestead. I'm so over the top excited for you both and your new adventures.
You’re an inspiration to young people and old🙂
YaY! I was just thinking "I wonder if Becky has a new video up!!! YOU DO!! 🥰🙏 You just totally made my day! ❤️
Loved opening TH-cam and seeing a new video from you!!! Love watching your updates on your forever home!
I'm enjoying watching all of these moving videos. 2 years ago i was on life support and in the hospital for a month, so i missed a lot. Lol. I'm having a great time this morning! Thank you Becky and Josh.
I absolutely love your videos, Becky! It always makes me happy when I see you have posted a new one!🌻
Josh has such a pleasant smile! You two are so adorable together. 🥰 Love your dogs! 🐾🐾
We should have a virtual potluck housewarming! All make our favorite Becky dish.
Just love seeing Josh so comfortable in front of camera. He is a natural. Great trim work Josh
Is there a reason for putting on the trim before painting? Wouldn’t it be easier the other way around?
Then how would you blend them to the wall? They’re not accessories, they’re part of the wall. It’s a finish.
Aloha from Oahu,
You guys are so adorbs.
Becky and Josh, you two are so adorable together. I love seeing couples who genuinely love and support one another.
Thanks! I really appreciate your videos while working and cooking, hope you're well and having a good week
It is nice to see Josh and not just a voice. You 2 are a sweet couple. Love your new homestead. The puppers seemed to enjoy it too. Love from Iowa
Hi Becky! I'm really enjoying your home renovation vlogs 🌼💙
I just found your channel and I am so pleased. You are a ray of Sunshine ☀️
Great job.
You have more energy than I have ever known!!!! Bless you!!!
The trim work is beautiful. Great job Josh!! Love the doggy wheel also.
Adorable pups, I think they will like the new property 💕
I like how you keep us updated on the progress on the new house.
And it’s a nice change from your cooking video’s although i love those also .
awww puppies look so happy! home improvements are usually some awesome memories imo. That wheel is so cool!
Hey Becky! Congrats on the new homestead!!
You work hard! Taking short breaks is important!
I love seeing all of these progress updates! The dogs seeing the property for the first time was so sweet, that’s always my favorite part of moving somewhere new :)
my husband and I are the same when we do renos! he's so detailed oriented and I always say it's good enough 😂
I love seeing both of you on camera! It’s a shame that you feel compelled to explain that Josh actually does things just bc we don’t see him on camera as often as we see you. Healthy relationships play to each other’s strengths and you can tell that is what you do!
"Working list between two phones" GENIUS! I have renovated 4 different homes and we always have a hand list. You have changed my life for the better
Your running around inspired me to do some things around the house, even if it was not as exciting as getting a new home ready! I felt like a slug watching you run around ;) but sometimes slug time is absolutely needed! I hope you got back to your rest with a view.
I am so excited. I get super happy every time a new post is up. Love following your journey. 💚
Beautiful work on the trim, and that dog wheel is absolutely brilliant! Our little dog would love out-of course she'd need a much smaller version. Josh should definitely market that!
They make cat wheels that would work for smaller dogs!
it is so nice to see Josh more often . watching you everyday it is nice to see the whole family. of course the doggies are included.
That's so much progress already! Someone suggested in a previous video that you do all the painting of the walls before installing the trim, so you don't have to deal with edges. With the trim off, I can see what they mean.
Yeah. Was wondering the same thing. Then you don’t have to tape the trim and/or ‘cut in’ w/the paint. 🤷♀️
You are a beautiful team. ❤️
Love your teamwork. Your energy is over the top! Love the sunglasses. Always enjoy all your videos and the leave in bloopers! So excited for you both , what a great home.
