Yo I’ve been doing this for 5 months consistently and it’s actually amazing how well me using minoxidil and dermatology did for me!!! Like seriously it blows my mind.. key to seeing results and atleast noticing them is to only shave once a month.. let your hair follicles grow let them root out.. and once u shave and u have some stubble watch how u see new hairs.. during my 1st - 3rd month I saw not much of a difference.. month 4 I saw what looked to be tiny little hairs sprouting up that I never noticed before.. the color of those hairs were blonde. For some reason.. now month 5-6 those very same hairs all of a sudden have a dark brown almost black shade to them…. I’m 33 years old and naturally have a salt and pepper colored beard… so idk the results are there u just gotta keep up with it
Why would you shave? Isn’t the purpose of it to get a full beard? I’ve heard many people who only use minoxidil say that they just trim their beards to a desired length and let all the other hairs grow to that same length. I’ve only been using minoxidil and trimming my beard and it’s starting to grow, but I was thinking of speeding up the process by also using a derma roller
@@juanr3898 Those that have patches(not just patches ofc) often trim your beard, because that way the needles as well as the minoxidil gets into more skin contact rather than being stopped by the hair, does it help? idk. it doesn't hurt when you first start after a while if you see any success that's when you can start letting it grow but to each their own :)

There's also another reason why you wait that is not being discussed. The delay in applying minoxidil after dermarolling is due to disrupting collagen synthesis. Anyone have thoughts on this?
What I had originally said is theory only. However Minoxidil does affect collagen, especially under the eyes due to the skin there is so thin. I believe I've been minorly affected from this but I'm also 52 so it's not a big deal or very noticeable.
@NoName-vx6up This is just a random thought of mine. But keloid scars is a response from the body to produce more collagen even after the wound has healed. Making the scar bigger than the previous injury. I wonder how minoxidil would change if any, to the keloid if you directly applied it.

A big thing i've heard is that minoxidil hinders or removes collagen in the area, which is the main reason people use dermarolling in the first place (Dermarolling increases collagen in the applied area) So the reason for waiting to apply minoxidil isn't necessarily because of the increased symptoms, but rather to let the increased collagen from the dermarolling do it's work for a little while before using minox again. Just what i've heard tho so no idea if there is any truth to that. I mean im 100% certain dermarolling increases collagen, it's the minox removing collagen part im not so sure of.
use minoxidil just after rolling only when length of needle is less than 0.75 mm. If you are using 1 to 1.5 mm , wait for 12 hours. Doctor is right no immediate overdosing will happen but on long term blood vessels will get affected
I used the derma stamp for the first time the other day on my scalp with a needle length of 1 mm. I applied minoxidil foam immediately after and I was fine. There is just more of a chance of irritation doing it like that rather than waiting.
Nice tip but.. All the trials and studies done that were given the best results was with extreme dermarolling 1.5mm. And that makes it not possible for minoxidil right after the roll. Maybe he talks about the light 0.5mm dermarolling. I personally suggest 1 time extreme roll per 10 days wait 24h, then twice a week a very light 0.5mm and right after minox.

Those hairs are called Vellus hairs. They’re the hairs that erupt from the epidermis before the permanent hair. Also known as “peach fuzz”. It’ll likely fall out and be replaced by a darker, more permanent hair.
The video missed the whole point of dermarolling, which is to damage the skin, to help with gains (layman's terms). Damaged skin needs to heal, or you're minimizing efficiency. Nobody was spreading false info.

Hi! New subscriber here. I am 25yo and using minoxidil for beard growth. With 0.5mm derma roller. Question: can I derma roll right after applying minoxidil? Also, Can I do it 2x a week maximum? Your answer will be more appreciated.
Hi Jaypee, welcome to the channel and thanks for your subscription! As you saw in the video, you can apply minoxidil immediately following dermarolling. According to Dr. Jayaprakash of The Hair Loss Show, the rate of diffusion would not be significant enough to cause any side effects. This was in reference to the scalp, however. My understanding is that diffusion differs from area to area, with facial skin having a higher rate than some other areas. How much truth there is to that notion I'm not certain. But the only way to find out if you're sensitive is to spot test. Try applying minoxidil to a small part of your face first, then if you don't notice anything strange, apply it to the rest. I doubt a 0.5 mm will cause issues. It's barely penetrating the outer layers of the epidermis. For what it's worth, I've been applying minox on my scalp and then dermarolling on top of that. I've not noticed anything wrong. YMMV. Frequency is up to you. I've seen people using all types of different schedules. I've always gone with once a week with a 0.5 mm. I go bimonthly with a 1 mm now. As long as you're not overtreating your skin (rolling for long periods of time per session), I could see someone getting away with 2x a week with a 0.5 mm. Hope that helps. -DJ
Hello, I have been micro needling for the past month. Can all of answer this? I apply Minoxidil 5% - 12 hours after micro needling. Good question well answered. . I am wondering how often one could microneedle in conjuction with minoxidil use and at what needle length...I feel like going after this a little more aggressively...cool channel...thankyou sir.
2 time's a week is more than enough Micro needlimg and for minoxidil 1ml every day, and for the needle size 1mm is great that's the thickness of most people's scalp bit you can go higher if you have more thick and deep scalp.

I thought this doctor was poor in sharing his information in these clips. First of all...you CAN overdose on many over-the-counter medications. It's actually quite common (think Tylenol! It can have devastating liver effects if abused). Secondly, yes with access directly to the blood stream, there is an increase in minoxidil efficacy AS WELL AS side effects: meaning drowsiness, dizziness, heart palpitations, etc. One just has to try with small amounts after dermarolling and then slowly and safely taper up to 1 mL as tolerated.
Tylenol is bad if you exceed the directed dosage. That’s why it’s labeled on the bottle. Water is good for you also, drink too much of it and can harm you as well, like the sodium level in your blood getting whacked off balance and brain damage to. Have you ever heard of “drink responsibly “ that goes for everything not only alcohol. I’m sure you drive a car that does over a Buck 50. Speed limits and law enforcement makes sure you and other drivers make it home to your families. Next time really think before you leave a dumb comment Gabe.
@@CQQLBREEZE Your analogies make you sound dumb AF dude! 😂😂😂 Tylenol has APAP which is corrosive to your liver and kidneys and stresses those organs anytime you take a dose. It also raises the acidity in your stomach stressing the digestive track and can form ulcers, yet doctors recommend tell the elderly yo take daily as a blood thinner. Doctors are not the end all be all source for maintaining health, nor are they the most credible source for healing conditions even if it's in their field of expertise. The doctor in this video clearly said it CAN stream into your system if applied right after derma rolling and cause those symptoms. So YOU think it over the next time you post some fake woke internet BS online 😂
I know these videos are much older but do you know if you can use gel/pomade with Minoxidil ? I usually wear my pomade for a day or two, is it safe to apply it right over??

Haha it’s a vinyl backdrop from Amazon. I think it cost like 15 bucks. Not even real wood!

Wow! This changes the game. THANKS!
I used to apply minoxidil immediately after derma rolling i had no problems but today when i did that again my nose got bleeding
Bro gave me the unspoken answer and made my day💖🫶🫂😎
Doesn't it depend on the needle length of the dermaroller?
Hey thanks for the redaction, i use ceramide also for moist my skin, should i apply before microneedle or after?
The video missed the whole point of dermarolling, which is to damage the skin, to help with gains (layman's terms). Damaged skin needs to heal, or you're minimizing efficiency. Nobody was spreading false info.
What I had heard was it can enter the blood stream and be transported to areas where you would not want hair to grow. Like your forehead.
Thanks I was looking for this answer... Tomorrow I'll use Derma roller and right after will use minoxidil... ♥
Hi , Love the channel . I have a question ? Are scalp massagers any good for hair loss. Is there any proof that it will grow new hair ? I am Derma rolling, taking Finasteride, and using minoxidil foam to slow down my hair loss . Thanks again for all that you do by keeping us informed.
@@Hackhamster you must be fun in parties.
Fin & Min do works. At least its working for me.
No scalp massage is useless
@@BORN2LOSE13 I disagree. My mom was 95 and started to brush her hair many times a day because it gave her something to do and felt good. She stated growing her hair back. My sister now does the same while she reads and is getting results.
@@rhondas3017 Good for them they are women, they aren't suffering androgenic alopecia. Try scalp massages for that and soon you'll be massaging a bald head
@@BORN2LOSE13 You know that women experience androgenic alopecia too, right?
Currently watching this while I derma penned & applies minoxidil 👀
Any result?

along with topical finasteride i used used the oral 1mg ,since i dont see any side effects i will also use minoxidil, goal is to get rid of topical finasteride and only use oral finasteride + minoxidil
so that i can save some money
fyii since from 2-3months i dont see any difference in sex drive,i am banging like anything, actually little more, but make sure you exercise, dont store any fat in your body,i guess my exercise is helping to fight all odds

Should i apply minoxidil before or after moisturizing?

Keratin Brotherhood thank you! ❤️
Can I apply minoxidil after derma roller immediately and can I make this every day I try this many times without side effects
Can I use dermaroller daily

Hello, I have been micro needling for the past month. Can all of answer this? I apply Minoxidil 5% - 12 hours after micro needling. When I first started application of Minoxidil 5% I could feel a slight sensation. Now I do not any more. Why?? I do not get any physiological side effects.
Is my scalp getting used the regime I have started? I am also taking 1mg finasteride.
All I needed to hear. Thank you
How are the results? Any side effects?
How are the results?
2:15 one guy saying he doesn't believe there's a problem isn't "debunking". There's plenty of medical research papers with a properly sized study set to report on this. Do a little basic research.
Very professional and helpful man
Because of that info i was waiting 24hrs before applying minoxidil. I have an anxiety disorder for i was afraid of its side effects thinking it will trigger my anxiety. But now that i saw this video, i apply the topical immediately after derma rolling. Thanks so much. This is what i need.
Any results? Or side affects?
How are you now bro? I wanna try but I'm not sure about that
Update
It works..... Just trust the process
@@19amir80 so it worked?
Hey brother thanks for the info im just wondering how has dermal rolling been going for you have you noticed any regrowth ia it worth adding to my regime
I rather wait 24hrs, there is no difference if you miss a day
Did you not hear that it absorbs faster.. because you’re puncturing your skin..
@@josephb8499 faster maybe but minoxidil isn't a race. I'd personally wait a day and skip the small chance of side effects than have a slightly faster absorption for one day
Love your voice, bro.
Your voice is sooooo soothing
I disagree, If I’m using minoxidil right after minoxidil i am tired as hell, tried it multiple times because I thought that maybe it’s not the minoxidil.. but every time I’ve done this i had severe lethargy throughout the day
Love that one subliminal frame at 2:04 of Cousin Itt (from Adamms Family)!
I don't understand why people wait. Those holes from needling, they close in 8 mins on average.
Sir can I use Indulekha Bhringa hair oil after derma roller use?
this is help full? And I'm 18 years old now! So prefer me what size of derma roller is the best for me! Please sir tell me as fast as possible..I need help
Depends on if you planning to use the derma roller on your head or face
You’re too far away from the mic
Thank you for the feedback, corrae!

Should we wash hair after applying Dermaroller? As blood comes after using dermaroller
Would this also apply for the beard?
Hello DJ, is it advisable to wash your face before or after derma rolling
I apply Minoxidil right after I dermaroll. I didn't experience any side effects. Why should I wait 24 hours to apply Minoxidil lol
that's exactly what I'm thinking but now some of the comments got me worrying. mine is 1.0mm and I got the scalp solution of Rogaine, not the foam version
Can i consider this video for beard as well?
Pls what’s the difference between regaine and rogaine minoxidil? Are they the same product
yes same company, regaine get sold in the UK and Rogaine in the usa
Hi thank you for the information. What do you think about mixing topical minoxidil with Finasterid?
Can I still apply it right after microneedling for beard growth?
Does this apply to the beard as well? Thank u
Same question .
Hearts the comment but doesn't answer the question. 🙄🙄
I have the same question
Yes it does
so it ok to the dermarolling after showering then apply rogain or should my head be dry first. I usually apply my rogain after i take a shower so my pores are open in my head for absorption
thanks great vid btw!
Really soothing voice bro
So YOU think it over the next time you post some fake woke internet BS online 😂
thing is im using it for beard dont know if this still applies for that
Do I have to wash the monoxidil off my skin after a few hour or I can leave it on?
Hey, is it save that I dermaroller at morning and used aminexil at night?
I know these videos are much older but do you know if you can use gel/pomade with Minoxidil ? I usually wear my pomade for a day or two, is it safe to apply it right over??
Hey Alex, it's definitely safe to do. Whether or not it impacts the absorbability of the minoxidil is unknown. But I'm guessing as long as you don't have a cake sheet of pomade on your scalp, you should be fine!

I'm so happy I found this, very useful
how often should i do this? twice a week? daily use?
thanks bro that good info
Can minoxidil be applied immediately after microneedling ?????
dude i'm in love with your voice!
Can I apply minoxidil after using dermaroller? Or I have to wait for some time....
2:08 i thought i was tripping 😂
How often should I derma roll?
I've been doing minox fdrrma roll for 6 years, I just realized people in 30s are dying from heart attacks more. The doc did say that small doses shouldn't be of concern, but that applies to the NOW, correct? What about the butter fly effect?
I say this with an open mind (else i wouldn't be putting chemical shit like finasyeride and minox in my body for 6 years, I am aware there are studies
how often in a week i have to do dermarolling??
Is it better to dermaroll before or after using minoxidil?
First used derma roller and apply minoxidil after is better!
Thank u made it easy with real research
