*NOTE: When programming this thermostat make sure you are programming for the proper mode (HEAT or COOL). To make sure you are in the proper mode move the switch to the desired mode (HEAT or COOL) and then move it back to the center (OFF) position in order to program just that specific mode. Keep in mind that this thermostat can keep both HEAT and COOL separate programmed schedules in its memory. You always want to switch the thermostat to OFF if programming, changing out the batteries, or removing it from its base for any reason.
I have this exact thermostat my kids touched it n hiw it wont stay on even on hold it says temporary cooling n turns off even in hold mode how can I reset
If pressing RUN (while in HEAT or COOL) does not bring it back to normal operation. Then it could be damaged in some way. Check out part 2 of this video where i go in the hidden menu. In there there is an option for factory reset towards the end of the menu. But this will completely erase all memory and you will have to program from scratch once again. Hope this helps. Hi, I like to be able to run the fan separately at times, but when I put it in that position it does not work. Is there an additional setting required. Thank you.
You did not mention if you need it on the on position when it goes through (leave, return, wake, or sleep ) should this be in the position or the off position or it doesn't matter
I have gas heat, this thermos was with my home when purchased. I’d like to keep my heat on @70 everyday, obviously would lower it if it gets to hot .I’m a stay at home mom & I’m getting a bit confused with the leaving & returning part. Can’t I just leave it @ 70 ? I do like the night to be a bit cooler around 68-69 . Guess I’m confused? The other question is, when Set up the thermostat it asks me the time? Does that mean the time it is at the moment with the time I want the heat to kick in? Thank you
