This morning I let out a loud "Aaaahhh!" seeing you had released a video, then hit play and just with the first music notes, not even watching the screen, my partner smiled and said "This is a new video from Sandra and Markus, right?" 😁 Your adventures are awaited here just like a popular Netflix series 😊 Nice birding indeed ! Hwange is so dry, we experienced the same in 2017. Game was pretty scarce, but elephant sightings were awesome. And it will forever hold a special place in my heart since this is where we saw our first serval, wild African cat and aardwolf ! Many thanks for sharing your hard work !!

The story about our music being so distinctive is incredible, that put a big smile on our faces. I can assure you that new videos will keep coming and the next one will mark the end of our Zimbabwe trip. In that finaly video the music will be slightly different, you will see. So glad that you have such great memories to Hwange even though animal sightings were (and still are) scarce. That was why we shifted focus to birding, which was very successful and the water hole in front of the camp was a major point of attraction for the elephants too. Also there was a salt lick place next to the camp where the elefants bunch in big numbers. So for you it was the aardwolf and for us it was the honey badgers that we first saw in this park.
