Hi Markus Great video! Amazing footage.
I see that you went there in January? The sea looks very calm, which is great. Did the people there tell you which months are the best for travelling for dry weather and calmer seas?
Also, January in southern PNG seems to be the cyclone season, did you experience any?
I am planning a solo trip there to take a boat to the further islands of the louisiades, so any information can be useful.
    Thank you!

Thank you very much for your kind comment, appreciate it very much! Unfortunately, I am not aware of the cyclone seasons in that part of the world. So I would suggest you get in contact with the resort or the boat operator directly for up-to-date information. Wishing you all the best and best regards, Markus

@@SandraMarkusTrachsel Thank you for the reply. So based on your experience while you were there, was the weather calm and pleasant? Did you encounter any currents while diving the outer reef? Also, I'm very impressed with the footage of those painted lobsters. Did you encounter those lobsters a lot while diving? Thanks again,.

Weather was a bit of a mixed bag but for macro footage, sunshine is not so important. Yes there was current on the outer reefs but that was intentional because we wanted to see lots of fish. Definitely not always the easiest conditions but we managed everything, no problem. As this was our very first visit I cannot say whether this is normal or worse than usual. But as weather changes all over the world nothing is guaranteed anymore. Wishing you all the best and best regards, Markus
