What people don't get is, that the greatest faith comes from within us. When we trust and believe in ourselves we can achieve absolutely anything. When people Pray to an invisible deity they are wasting precious energy, that could be used to help themselves and others thrive.

You don’t need a motive or pay off to help others… Sounds sounds more like transactional, which is the christian belief… Believe in somebody crucified, doing some thing specially for just you and you get to go up to someplace wonderful for the rest of all time. I thought it was a bad idea when they were going through the motions and debates over it, and then once it happened I realized it was so G.B. would have more autonomy and control over its own destiny. Now, what G.B. has decided to do with that autonomy since hasn’t been great, but at least they’re not dragged around by the E.U.’s leash.
