If I didn’t have the riverside box set I would.
Talk talk - spirit of Eden UHQR would be unbelievable guaranteed
Laughing Stock too! Spirit Of Eden & Laughing Stock should always be together IMHO.
@@Unisonic good shout.
I picked them up even though I have the riverside box lol
I'd buy Talk Talk in a hearbeat
Now you're talking mate. Id buy their entire catalogue on UHQR. My fav band of all time. Really difficult to find a quiet original as well!
Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream UHQR
Agreed!!
Definately
I was amazed by white stripes uhqr but there s not a lot of rock n roll uhqr i agree 😞😞
That would be amazing
I’d buy it.
I'm a big supporter of Acoustic Sounds/Analogue productions, but man, I'm pretty tired of the same old titles getting reissued in various treatments. Let's get some fresh titles in the UHQR reissue mix...
White stripes?
@@love2spinvinylLmao! No!
Just when I thought I was out, you guys PULL ME BACK IN
Come on Chad …. 1990’s rock is what many of your customers want .
Apparently 1990s rock is not what most of his customers want.
Well let me be one of the ones who says that I preordered this immediately. This is one of my favorite albums, and my UHQR’s are my prized collection. I love the sound of the clarity vinyl, the 45rpm and the boxes are amazing, and for those who have a problem with the size of the box, honestly they could be bigger and I wouldn’t complain. Top notch all the way. As Chad says, no one is putting a gun to your head. I for one say keep them coming, and I will keep buying. There is too much worthless crap out there not to support our audiophile labels.
I love the boxes too. I know he gets a lot of slack about it, but they're perfect.
The world is a better place when a new UHQR comes out
These UHQRs will be incredible and sound the best out of any version out there. We are truly living in an era of incredible-sounding audiophile releases and this is also a problem because I am not sure how many people can afford these ultra-expensive $150 records considering that there already are fantastic sounding 33 rpm versions of both Bill Evans records in print and at a very affordable price. Speaking for myself, I have got a limited budget and I already have the latest Craft 33 rpms of these, but.. if you have the disposable income and want the absolute best then these are for you !
Jazz, Jazz and more Jazz. 🥱🥱🥱
Venom - Black Metal UHQR! Hail!
🤘☻️
Those two great Bill Evans Trio jazz albums are very worthy of the UHQR treatment. 👍👍👍👍👍
Absolutely correct! Amazing tapes so should be outrageous!
You could just buy the craft 33.3 KG mastered sounds fantastic!
I don’t think i’ll cry if I don’t buy now or even later.
An experienced collector here Chad &, I feel, speaking for most, I like & prefer the "announcement + shipping same month" release method you're moving to. 💪🏻
Thanks. 👍🏻
Agreed.
Killer titles perfect for the UHQR treatment, thank you :)
How's about Moving Pictures by Rush?
Edit: And for Christ's Sake, ALL the Steely Dan but you can't finish out Hendrix with Electric Ladyland!?
Agreed
If they did the Rush Catalog as UHQR I am certain my wife would divorce me because those would be instant buys.
Those masters tapes are getting a workout 😮 For 300 dollars it better have a Deepgroove
Yes these have been pressed to death in the last 9 years.
Many thanks, Chad. I've been waiting for the SACD of "Gaucho" and I now have some idea when to expect it.
However, I must say I'm grateful .. Thank You Sir!
I’m going to get rocks thrown at me but wouldn’t this do better at a 45rpm $60 release? People would buy it.
Bill Evans deserves the UHQR treatment, ill be glad to add these to the shelf along side my KoB UHQR.
I've already let Mike Rose at Excel Audio in Newport Beach CA know I'll take both! Stoked. Thanks,
Not sure how I feel about these releases considering OJC literally came out with good pressings of these exact two albums last year. Love UHQR and Bill Evans but these two are particularrly a hard pill considering the timing and offering.
I'm going to the poor house Chad
Would love to see (hear!) Nick Drake get the analogue productions treatment at some point.
Time to get some new music out of the vault as we have seen the bill evans has been done to death , how many times do we need this 1957 album released , is it that the jazz labels let you have the master tapes cheap ?
And by the way, Chad, I love the boxes. I know you get a lot of flack for the boxes, but I love the boxes.
Portraits of Jazz ! Please
I was really hopeful of seeing more fresh/modern titles get the UHQR treatment after the White Stripes and some of the Atlantic 75 releases. Disappointing.
Nice! Please don't forget us SACD lovers! Thanks!!
Hmmm, two of my all-time favorite albums, but I already have three versions of each - including 45 versions in the Riverside box set. I'll probably get them since Bill Evans is my favorite artist and it's mastered at Coherent, but I'm getting pretty burned out on the inconvenience of 45 rpm records. I would be more excited about 33 versions.
I don't own a single 45rpm 2lp record or box set and I love it, so much room for activities ☺️
Love this…my money is safe
Repress of Exodus would be a good idea so all of us have a chance of ordering one.
I have the Bill Evans Riverside box set which includes these 2 titles as 2 x 45 rpm releases. Curious if the UHQR is that much better. Normally I would be happy with what I have but I absolutely love these records and their warm sound.
I’m sure it will sound great but I’ve already got multiple copies of these fantastic recordings.
People complaining about same titles ! They are not the same they are UHQR
wow, that is excellent news. What a great set. How about a UHQR of Monks Music?
Got the Riverside 45s I'm good. How many copies does one person need. I'm a collector but geez this is great if you missed the One-step but I just bought the OJCs and the Riverside 45 collection.
master of puppets on uhqr please
Well Chad, that should put the dagger in the heart of the supposedly definitive MoFi pressing.
Cannibal Corpse UHQR please
😂this made my day, thanks!
@@roquai06
Any time 🤣
This would be sick!
Did they do tape up to Vile?
Thanks ,Chad. We are truly living in an unprecedented audiophile grade vinyl renaissance. These titles sounds better than they ever have.❤
Huh? How would you know? Release date is July 19.
Huge fan of UHQR, but I’d love to see a better choices. Happy to hear the Steely Dan’s are coming soon!
I love these albums but already have them on 45 in the riverside recordings box set. Is there any reason to get these aside from packaging?
Yeah, take the money. I guess the MSFL might take a valuation hit...maybe. In any case, it'll come off my Want List.
Beatles!
Great, but what about the mono mixes?
Good question... I guess it'll be: First you buy these stereo albums and when they are sold out, the mono version will be announces in the hope of getting the same people to buy the same music again...
How do I get one of those sweet mugs?
Are these made from different stampers than the craft reissues?
the uhqrs are newly-remastered especially for this version, apparently.
Yes - these are 45 rpm...
Hi Chad-SACD’s please?😊
Sticking to my box… by the way my org Gaucho gives me more musical enjoy than the UHQR
not laminating the 75th annversary series is a missed opportunity chad. i think we would be willing to pay an extra $5 on each release to get the covers laminated.
5000 nice Nummber so you can do fast the next UHQR!
You will have done (7) Steely Dan titles, not 9?
They released their final two albums as standard non uhqr releases already
Looks amazing, however, please provide customers an option for people who don't want the box, to avoid so much waste. Not all of us can afford to have a full shelf with 7 (difficult to access) records on there. Cheers
You’ve already got options. There are a number of audiophile releases already on these albums, maybe not on the same vinyl but excellent pressings nevertheless. There is no chance that these UHQRs will ever be released without the premium box. They have to make money some way!
45 RPM?
I’m glad these are out but I can’t buy. The Craft is amazing, and I’m pulling back on the spending. Some these UHQR’s need to blow me away like Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Rush, Miles Davis electric, Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails
any news about led zeppelin ?
Time to put the zep to rest!
you look familiar from the tok
I really hope the use car salesman doesn’t get the Zeppelin rights. This is a band that has a strong fan base second only to the Beatles in my opinion and I would hate to see Chad charging people $150 and a lot couldn’t afford that.
Yoko Ono! I’m kidding, I’m kidding, I’m kidding 😅
Chad, you know it's coercion and it's a criminal offense.
Just kidding of course 😏
Gee Chad how innovative 2 more jazz records. Thanks for saving me money. Way to be creative Waltz For Debby has only been done every year since 2015 except for 2019. Then the same with Sunday At The Village Vanguard except 2021 and 2022. Hey its your company even though it is pretty boring. Same old same old.
Not worth $150. I own several UHQRs and relative to AP $38 pressings, Craft, or TPs, they’re just not worth the money. And I hate the big encyclopedia boxes. No more UHQRs!
Mazzy?
@@iamwoteveriwanttobe Not me. I don't hide behind fake names 🙂
Also, I’m not against 45s but unless there are vocals, where 45s really shine, it’s usually hard for me to justify the cost/convenience vs a very good 33.3 (ex AP Verve 45 re-issues vs newly re-issued 33.3s of the same albums).
@@mazzysmusic You're telling me someone else hates those big beautiful boxes? You're pulling my leg. 😉
Matte jackets? :(
These two uhqr are for the people who don’t have the riverside boxset.
I have the Riverside box and I will be picking these up too.
yawnnnnnnnnnn. here we go again redoing the same titles over and over lol. like this didn’t just recently come out as an incredible OJC release.
Anyone with a system that can extract the extra sound quality these will offer and don’t mind paying the premium will no doubt enjoy these!
Stop with the same Reissues! Come on Guys!!!
I have that kind of system and yawnnnnnn is right. I am sure it will sound great but over saturation of these titles is crazy
@@jackiepuppet9289 agreed there’s plenty of pressings already and I’d love to see so fresh titles as well like what they did with white stripes. I guess I’m just not as critical of this release over others because I’m always after the best sound quality possible and if these sound even better than alternatives then I’ll be glad to have them. Especially since they’re two of my favorite records. Anyways, have a good day sir and enjoy your system :)
The OJC isn’t at 45. Check and mate.
😴
Well at least it's not Steely fking Dan 😂
And Kevin Grey is not using his new tube, mastering set up for those. What a miss!
How do you know? Please share.
So ridiculous! How many reissues of Bill Evans do we need? They’ve been done time and time again and in audiophile releases, no less. Those who think these UHQR releases will blow away all others are either deceiving themselves or just plain nuts. I see this as a cash grab pure and simple. For god sakes, there are countless possibilities here to release something new, something never released in audiophile form. What’s next- SuperAnalog UHQR?
I know you’re too much of a stupid baby to actually count how many reissues you’re complaining about that have been done “time and time again” but the last time there’s been a 45rpm issue of Waltz for Debby was over 22 years ago. It’s really hard for me to complain when “time again” is a quarter of a century later.
Do you think something new and an untested audiophile release is really the format for an ultra premium UHQR release? He probably want to make sure theres even a demand for that price point.
But it comes in a big space hogging useless box, cardboard is expensive you know
@@jrdoran At some time in the past, all records were non- audiophile releases until someone decided to release it in audiophile form. Do we really need six audiophile releases before an audiophile UHQR? I think not. Of course, if you just love UHQR and can’t get enough of Bill Evans, have at it…
I am with you. RHF just did Black Sabbath ST 5000 sold out in a few days. These UHQRs have been boring except for the Hendrix stuff. I am not a big White Stripes fan but it is different and I applaud it. Same old same old Jazz titles done to death.
no thanks
Zzzzzzzzz
UHQ yet Another pointless rip-off.
How's it a ripoff?
Not our fault you cannot afford it because you work at Subway.
Bot
What a stupid comment! I hope this wasn’t meant to be funny!
@@nuked9959Couldn’t you think of a better comeback w/o invoking jobs? No wonder the general public thinks that audiophiles are snobs.
