Concerning Nintendo Switch games being rereleased on the Next Switch: I still say we might see something akin to a Nintendo Selects line in which we do get some Switch cartridges again, but merely as reprints that include all past updates and patches, plus maybe the DLC and any Next Switch enhancements that may be issued in the future.
i can see them doing "deluxe" updates to switch games for the switch 2, like how sony and microsoft have been doing for previous gen games on their current systems but with a bit of content to go with the graphical upgrade
Don’t think we need a Mario Maker 3. 2 has so much beloved stuff that’s been created already that it should just live on. This is 1 game that a big helping of surprise DLC would do it well moving forward to next system. Old players can get back into it and new players can build courses on either system they want. Win Win for all.

External Microphone, for voice chat, even though Bluetooth or Headphone jack could be used. 3. Bezel-less 720p display, which would increase screen size as large as current LCD Switch. 4. Fixed internal storage as well as slot for expandable internal storage. 5. 32GB RAM LPDDR4, in Switch Lite revision, as well as Switch 2. Switch 2 should have optional full computing system software. (Games can still be constrained to 4GB RAM, 16GB RAM, Rest of RAM could be used for Multitasking and System Software) 6. Dockable 4K play, using direct USB-C to HDMI cable. Give option to have, Switch Lite on its own, Switch 2 on its own, or have both. 7. Two GAME CARD slots. 8. Two USB-C ports, or updated data transfer ports. 9. As external SSD for Switch 2, all software on Switch Lite revision, internal storage, external storage, is accessible on Switch 2. (wired or wireless) 10. No. The switch hardware is outdated. They are going to make games for the new console the switch won't be able to run. However there might be some games that are going to be released on both consoles, or since the successor is backwards compatible what could happen is the games that the switch can run are going to be released as switch games, and you can also buy them to play them on the successor, so releasing these games for both is not neccesary if the switch can run them. But the games that the switch won't be able to run are going to be relesed as the succesor games.

I hope the Switch successor can have a balance between new games and ports and remakes. The Switch had Wii U Ports because of the latter's failure so I hope to see more original entries and sequels on the Switch successor.
Unpopular opinion: Mario Allstars+ where you could play the original versions of the 5 in the original, and you could play new versions that are full remakes of all of them that look modern.

It means that your data from the old switch will be transferred to your new switch, and you can play Switch games on your new switch. Think of it as like getting a new phone, you can transfer your data from your old phone to your new phone. You just need an account, and there you go.

Don’t think we need a Mario Maker 3. 2 has so much beloved stuff that’s been created already that it should just live on. This is 1 game that a big helping of surprise DLC would do it well moving forward to next system. Old players can get back into it and new players can build courses on either system they want. Win Win for all.

This backwards compatibility is awesome. I am still looking forward too Switch Lite revision, as well as Switch 2.
What I would like to see for Switch Lite revision:
1. Rumble.
2. External Microphone, for voice chat, even though Bluetooth or Headphone jack could be used.
3. Bezel-less 720p display, which would increase screen size as large as current LCD Switch.
4. Fixed internal storage as well as slot for expandable internal storage.
5. 32GB RAM LPDDR4, in Switch Lite revision, as well as Switch 2. Switch 2 should have optional full computing system software.
(Games can still be constrained to 4GB RAM, 16GB RAM, Rest of RAM could be used for Multitasking and System Software)
6. Dockable 4K play, using direct USB-C to HDMI cable. Give option to have, Switch Lite on its own, Switch 2 on its own, or have both.
7. Two GAME CARD slots.
8. Two USB-C ports, or updated data transfer ports.
9. As external SSD for Switch 2, all software on Switch Lite revision, internal storage, external storage, is accessible on Switch 2. (wired or wireless)
10. As optional controller with screen for Switch 2. (Play DS, 3DS games and have enhanced Wii-U features).
11. Sold for $100, even with all these revisions, as Switch Lite hardware is so cheap after all these years.

No. The switch hardware is outdated. They are going to make games for the new console the switch won't be able to run.
However there might be some games that are going to be released on both consoles, or since the successor is backwards compatible what could happen is the games that the switch can run are going to be released as switch games, and you can also buy them to play them on the successor, so releasing these games for both is not neccesary if the switch can run them. But the games that the switch won't be able to run are going to be relesed as the succesor games.

Bro im so ready for switch 2 and ik people want games like gamecube on the switch 2 but I lowkey want games on the wii to be on the switch like mario galaxy, mario party 9, even those old lego star wars. Those games were my childhood as im highschooler so I grew up with the wii. For people who grew up with the gamecube, they are adults who can probably get their own gamecube and gamecube games, even tho ik they are hard to get, but for people like me, I can get games that came on the wii and now if your wii or wii games are broken its almost impossible to get a new one or get it fixed. Think of it as like getting a new phone, you can transfer your data from your old phone to your new phone.

I guess the falling sales of the Switch are leading to the reveal of the successor. I'm being honest, Splatoon's awesome, but we need Splatoon 4 as a mid-year title like Splatoon 3 was in 2022, not a launch title like Splatoon 2 was in 2017. We could get even better games if they were mid-year releases and not launch titles.
