Just thought I'd let you know..the siphon is gravity based. It doesn't really matter what your water pressure is in your house, the point where your siphon starts needs to be within a couple feet of height/elevation of the point in which you start sucking water out. It actually takes a moderately strong pump to pump water over 10 feet overhead, and your sink isn't actually acting as a pump at all, just a siphon starter. So, you can have the most awesome water pressure of any household, you are not going to start a siphon from the 2nd floor of your home to the first because of the change in elevation, water is heavy and it cannot be pumped 10+ feet above on siphon suction alone. It actually works much more effectively if the siphon is started below your "suck point" since the water can use gravity to fall. Awesome video regardless and I had some good chuckles.
I've never actually seen one demo'd before and seeing it in action makes me want one so I think you did well! It's a lot easier to hook up that I expected it to be.
I'm washing all your videos cuz I got mystery snails and this video make me laugh so hard that made my eyes water really funny love all the videos still trying to wash all of them
LOL OMG you kill me! 😂😂👍🏼 What l found with my Python is push the syphon down into the substrate it builds up pressure and then removes a lot of poop and debris. 🌹
Hey…..hey……it’s not very small…….it’s just different…….lol. All kidding aside, when you use these things it’s best if the sink is not above the level of the tank. It will fill, but it won’t siphon. I own the Python version of this but got sick of wasting so much water so I’m back to manually doing it.
I learned a lot and also had a good chuckle at the “unmanned” hose. I can relate:) Very enjoyable to watch. I am looking for a new cleaner- so I will consider this one!!
Question do you or anyone reading this know how i can use a gravel vacuum like these butttttt with a kitchen sink faucet that has a pull down sprayer? There is no parts that untwist on my faucet. I dont want to replace my expensive sink but i also want the ease of water changes/vacuuming without water splashes from 1 room to the other.. any ideas? 💡💡💡💡 💡 helllp lol
I don't know if this will help anyone else, but what I noticed was which was the same with me, It doesn't work with the plastic tube attachment. It doesn't suck up water with it. When you remove it, it will remove water but the pressure isn't that fast. If you only wanted to do a no mess water change this will work but if you want to vacuum the sand this won't work
Hi Lav!!! I’m so happy that I found your page, doing research before I add a mystery snail. Any advice about adding a mystery snail to a 10 gallon with 2 nerite snails???
Personally, it really depends on how much you are willing to clean the tank. I have two nerites. Whenever I add a mystery snail to that tank with them, it needs cleaning a lot more often. My nerites are sweet girls. Yeah, they leave eggs all over (🙄) but they work hard while not adding much to the bio load. Maybe it is because I feed my mystery snails so much (they are hungry cuties) but I feel they dirty a tank so much faster. It is what it is so I don’t mind cleaning a smaller tank more often. (Not feeding them very often is not an option since I can see them start to suffer.) For me, nerites are sweet, calm, mellow workers. They do a great job with algae. Mystery snails are my dead shrimp clean up crew. Plus, mystery snails are just so way cool. I find them to be very social with each other and so beautiful. I have soooooo many of them now since I breed them and love to distribute them among my tanks. I definitely think a fishtank is much better with a mystery snail in it!
Fishtastic clip! Personally i dont find them worth it. I built my own version for much cheaper. One thing i would note: unless you are going to be leaving the water running the whole time (wasting water/costing money) the sink used must be lower than the tank to maintain a siphon. Just letting anyone who plans to get one know lol as i didnt think that through myself lol
Thank you all for watching! See you very soon in the next one! 💜🐌💜
🔥🤣 I love the commentary 🤣🔥
Hahah you made me laugh much and that wow music on the background. Hilarious.

Awesome! 🥰 give them a hug from me! 🐌💜
I'll try to give them that haha. Same to yours. Any tips for a good canister filter for a 240Litre(60+-gallon) tank?
Honest review and you are hilarious.

Does the sink faucet has to be on in order for user to syphon? That just feels like it’s a waste of water
Hi, just wondering how to use this siphon ?
i just got this set up yesterday and just tried it and i couldn't get it to suck out
how long was the the hose ?

Wonderful video love kitty running behind you 😂 how long is the tubing
