I a born and raised Mainah. To hear ya talk about winter cracks me up . We saw your bus in Ellsworth Maine after taking the in laws to Acadia national park. Had to check ya out . Keep up the good work great adventure
Awesome. New England in the Fall is amazing and I was just chatting with a friend about how much we both want to see Maine. The bus looks sweet - gonna need a full bus tour vid when you get it dialed.
Glad you made it back. Nice area. Spent a lot of time around Brunswick ME. in the old Navy days. The problem with that girl is you would of had to catch her first. She was hauling butt. Take care, Al
Living that life!!! Just love that schoolie. So awesome to get to experience places that way. Maine is so gorgeous. Got to experience coastal Main one October. Can’t wait to get back there.
I love it up north in the fall. I was past peak foliage but it was still incredible and a few less tourists. I have always wanted to own a mini school bus, so much fun to drive around. Catch you in the road.
Things that I would never say: "I've been waiting for these rainy days" Traveling Thru endures whatever nature has to offer him. 💪 That's the difference between this southern European guy and Pennsylvania man.
Very nice! In the early 80's, while on a short 1 day layover awaiting to go back out to my CG off shore light house duty (Light Station Great Duck Island), I wanted to try and pedal to the top of Cadillac Mountain and snap some pictures of the islands around down below. Motobecane Grand Touring was my bike. Made it up just fine but unfortunately as is often the case in Downeast Maine, fog had blocked everything out of view except the road in front of me. Oh, and that Motobecane went out to the island with me (on a CG small utility boat; transferred to the light house's pea pod rowing boat!), along with my Vetta Wind Trainer. Riding on Great Duck with the Grand Touring was out of the question (I eventually used my Ross Mountain Bike for that kind of riding on the island); I used the bike and the wind trainer inside the small house where the crew lived in so I could stay in some kind of proper condition while living on the island a month at a time. Memories. Sparked by your nice video of MDI! :)
Very scenic. Camping at a rest area sounds familiar. Camping among ruins never seen you do that before (Prarie Sprit Nature Trail). Your driving the van and as I am watching it gave me a cinematic flash memory to a film called Repo Man when I saw the airfreshener dangling from the rear view.
Dude! You're in our neck of the woods. So many awesome bikepacking routes in the Northeast. If you happen to swing through the White Mountains of NH let us know.
You bet! It gets so busy its just easier to avoid the downtown section of Bar Harbor all together. Early spring is a great time to be there, less tourists, but theres kind of always people up and around there. MDI is amazing.
Yeah, they let me drive a motor vehicle if you could believe it. I saw lots of motor bike packers up on The Bold Coast, every time I see one of those guys on a BMW with hardcase Panniers, I think about you bro. Catch you on the road.
I have a never ending list of things to do. That include backpacking, bike packing, and cruising in a Skoolie. Next year I’m looking at The GDMBR, or maybe riding across the country again. Currently looking at fixing up that school bus, to get me to more trails around the country.
I like it so far, not that there was anything wrong with the last one though. I hope it still turns up. Ill check out the battery save mode, I usually ride in those settings anyway. Thanks for watching.
"Rode a thousand miles, ran a marathon and rode home" as I sit and dig out the last three cheese curds. Thanks for taking me along!
Thats how I party. Thanks for watching.
I just powered through some M&M's lol
New helmet! Very cool
The Kask is super light. Pretty sweet.
@@TravelingThru222 you were due, dude

Hey, thanks for checking me out. I try to get up there every chance I can get.....just not in winter.
Right on! The Traveling Thru magic bus...
Bus is on the road. Its time to start making the interior livable.
Lovely Video.
Thank you very much!
Recently found your channel. Thanks for all the footage, and welcome to New England
Thanks for the sub! Thanks for watching.

Yeah Man, Maine is super cool. Lots to see. I have some bus stuff coming up.
What a great place, I could easily spend a week or so there.
There is so much to do on MDI, a week is minimum.
Glad you made it back. Nice area. Spent a lot of time around Brunswick ME. in the old Navy days. The problem with that girl is you would of had to catch her first. She was hauling butt. Take care, Al
She was moving, I didn't realize she was coming up behind me. There was no catching her.
Wow!!
Cool.
Fired up the bus. Nice!
Bus is on the road, Jack.
Place is sooo beautiful! Thanks for taking me there! Awesome video bro!!
Thanks for coming

Thats it, just have to get out there no matter whats it doing.
The old mansion is right out of the Blair Witch Project. Great video.
I really should have included some old pictures of the mansion. Its very impressive. Thanks for watching, more New England adventures to come.

Cadillac is a great ride. I didn't make it up there this time, I've been up there a lot. I wanted to see some other places. Thanks for watching.

No repo man here. Paid cash. thanks for watching.

Thanks for the offer, I’m a bit south currently.
@@TravelingThru222 Right on. Diggin' the bus btw.
If it weren't for swarms of Summer tourists, it would be great to have a place on Mount Desert Island. Thanks for sharing.

@@TravelingThru222 it truly is amazing. Our last few summer vacations were spent on MDI. The lobster dinners aren't bad either.
Cool! We got engaged (as in I popped the question) there!
Such a great place.
I have wanted to visit this park for a long time. next time I will go there instead of going to Old-Orchard Beach 😆
Acadia is a must see.
Hey man. So strange watching you drive a car. I've only ever seen you on the last cross country trip. Looks like a cool area for sure.
Yeah, they let me drive a motor vehicle if you could believe it. I saw lots of motor bike packers up on The Bold Coast, every time I see one of those guys on a BMW with hardcase Panniers, I think about you bro. Catch you on the road.
@@TravelingThru222 awesome. Some day, I'll figure out how to edit and actually post some of the trips I've recorded over the last few years.
Looks like a cool park to ride and explore 🤠👍
Its really a great place. Ive been thinking about heading down to St. Augustine for some warmer weather.
Awesome thanks for the update! Is this van life going to be your next big adventure? Or are you got something else on the blotter for the future?

The Edge Explore has some battery saver options you may want to turn on. After a couple of deep charges it will start acting right.
I like it so far, not that there was anything wrong with the last one though. I hope it still turns up. Ill check out the battery save mode, I usually ride in those settings anyway. Thanks for watching.
Cash A$$ or Grass. Great Video! Here's an algorithm boost brother.
You got that right!
Hey there, do you think 700x35 wheels would handle those carriage roads ok??
I think 35's would be ok. Im running 700x38. The roads are pretty hard and well maintained, Lots of paths to explore.
I ride the carriage road regularly on 32s
Just a quick question. In a brawl fist fight between the Brady Bunch vs Partridge Family who wins?
Obviously the Brady Bunch.
Wait how did you get back ?
747, and there's a bit of lag time with the videos due the amount of footage I had from the coast to coast.
@@TravelingThru222 nice glad you had a safe trip !!
