The late Princess Diana asked George to head up this concert for her AIDS charity. She is in the audience and George recognizes and thanks her. Watching it now it makes me so sad that they are both gone. He was absolute perfection in his entire performance. RIP to both.
George's whole performance that night was absolutely stunning. Live he always was an incredible experience.😘

I agree you need to react to the entire show. The ballads he sings on the show are stunning. I never grow tired of seeing a george michael, performance. Can’t tell you how lucky I feel to of seen him live. His voice was truly impeccable. He was able to mesmerize his entire audience. I hope that you can next react to his MTV unplugged it special. It’s truly outstanding.

I'm going to throughout your way that'll bring a bit forward, ok maybe a lot forward. the album is SONGS FROM THE LAST CENTURY this is also from the SYMPHONICA Album in PARIS GARNER's OPERA HOUSE. These are very jazzy, Classics from the past. BROTHER CAN YOU SPARE A DIME, from Pavarotti & friends. MY BABY JUST CARES FOR ME & FEELIN GOOD (last two from the OPERA HOUSE ITS SELF.) NOTE: George was the first contemporary artist to ever play there. This was a benefit concert. Witch George did many! He also donated a # of all proceeds to charities! I know I suggested 3 songs but Listen to them in this order. This is definitely a change, yet not for George. George could sing the alphabet & make It a hit! LOL, my friend, keep enjoying George, He's my little piece of heaven, and maybe he'll become yours! 😎🎤🎶🎶🎶💖
That video Freedom 90 is everything. I watch that so often. I even showed it to my daughters. I told them all about the supermodels back then. It was another time. ❤ I’m not crying. You’re crying.
I love seeing your reactions to George 😃 I'd love you to review George's MTV unplugged session from 1996, absolutely faultless, maybe Star People from the session. Albums by George, Older is my favourite, Fastlove, Spinning the wheel, Older... to name but a few, followed closely by the Album Patience, Cars and Trains being one of my favourite tracks but they're all great. I promise that whatever you listen to you will not be disappointed. Thank you for appreciating our beautiful man 💜

I’m 72 and still listen to George daily. I’ll never see another one like him in my lifetime. BTW you remind me of my fav football player, Troy Polamalu.

I'm totally OBSESSED with this concert, too... It was apparently a live televised event. Then a DVD of the concert was produced/sold, as well as a live CD.
The whole show consisted of setlists by two of my ALL-TIME FAV singers: George Michael AND K.D. Lang (K.D. has the MOST GORGEOUS VOICE, EVER)... and also Mick Hucknall of Simply Red. David Bowie did an introduction at the beginning of the show.
Maybe you've already looked this up/have this info, but George's setlist was:

@@J.Fro90 Mine was One More Try, one of his best performances of that song live he’s ever done! But to be honest the whole set was great. K D Lang was also great. Check out her version of Constant Craving she did that night.
@@casshern06 I had a really good friend named Constantine! Yes, I believe ONE MORE TRY was the first time I & watched George on MTV. I was mesmerized! I actually just stood still just to take It all in. I also thought, Oh, he's just too handsome, he must be an AH. Boy, I've never been more wrong in my life! In many ways, George has become my best friend without ever meeting him or seeing him live! Net I know him in my heart, from his heart through his music! As far as KD LANG goes, my son was 4 & loved Countant craving as well as I & bought the CD for both of us. Very lovely talented lady! Great Night! Thanks, my friend LOL, take care! 💖

Even more rare was his performance of Freedom ‘84. as opposed to this Freedom! ‘90. Somebody filmed it and it looks like it is from the same concert but I’m not sure if that’s correct.
