George Michael had SOOOO much Soul it was just BEYOND RIDICULOUS... HE proved himself early on and when he went SOLO, he became a SUPER⭐✨ STAR... I hated seeing his spiral down to ⚰️ because I always felt he had so much MORE in him.... But we all gotta go⚰️ and how we go, hopefully we did the best we could BEFOREHAND.
The album Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1 is absolutely worth listening to and next to the album Older my favorite album. Unfortunately, the work on Vol. 2 was never finished. His cover version of the Stevie Wonder song They Won't Go When I Go is absolutely insane.
Is there anyone who was better live than George Michael? All you GM fans, George is currently a nominee for induction into he Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Fans can vote daily for up to 5 artists until April 28th. If you're a fan, go over and give him a vote. He is deserving, no doubt about that!

I was a lifelong George fan and thankfully I managed to see him in concert a couple of years before he died. He was an amazing singer/songwriter and a really nice bloke, from what I could tell. He is still missed.
I remember he mentioned that his ex record label was trying to put him (face/image) front back and center of everything but he just wanted to be appreciated for his songwriting and let the songs speak for themselves at that time. Thus the LP was named Listen Without Prejudice and without his face on the cover, etc.
His “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down on Me”with Elton John is phenomenal
Saw this when it was broadcast live in 1991...first time ever hearing him singing live without a backup band...totally mind blowing vocals.
That was his best performance for me of this song. Fantastic performance!

This is the way he wanted it, he wanted to have his band around him. He knows what he wants and will get it, money does not mean a lot to him if hes not happy it doesnt happen. Hes the best. Do George singing on Pavarotti and friends singing Brother Can you Spare a Dime, it is out of this world, its a WOW WOW😊
I’m so thrilled you reacted to this live version. He wanted this filmed in a round., which was a challenge but he got what he wanted. The man won so many writing awards . I love this sooooo much! This is one of the funkiest tracks of George's, I've loved it ever since I first heard the Unplugged release. Yes the collaboration with the choir and band, I love to see him grooving like this, he sings with his whole body. So much joy! 30 years later and the lyrics just hit differently. I heard this recently described as a protest song. Pure genius! ❤

You took the words out of my mouth yes he is a genius I love all his music from Wham to his solo career every song he wrote meant something he performs with such meaning , it was George's idea to have his backing singers and band surrounding him he was amazing I adore him, I love watching you react to him thankyou
Pat, If you really want to hear the power of George's voice, please react to his live performance from the charity concert Pavarotti and Friends filmed in italy. He remakes a song from the 1930s , called Brother Can You Spare a Dime. All I can say is wow, wow, wow, the power and range are epic.
Listen Without Prejudice is related to Sony Court case, thats why his picture isnt on the album and said he wasnt going to promote it
