Totally agree that the right watches are an investment. BUT the issue is that most people can't get these watches at "retail". Good luck getting a Daytona at $20K from the AD.

The whole investment angle is a joke. If you are rich enough to just cough up 20k for a watch, you're not concerned about making an extra 20k in 10 years. Your income will far outweigh any investment gains you make lol

Another reason to buy them is just if you like it you feel good wearing it then go for it life isn’t about buying jut what you need it’s the things we want that make it more fun

Good lesson, but investing in watches is a total waste of time. Talk about a first-world distraction! I hope as a millionaire I never get suckered into such a ridiculous niche of investment, no matter how well-established, that's not relevant or relatable to the vast majority of the world.

Tell me when u actually sold a watch for a lot more than when you bought. Please also factor in inflation as well. I own a Rolex myself but I don’t see it as an investment. I see it as a nice gift to myself and do not plan to resell it

What makes Watches a terrible 'investment':
Depreciating asset. Chances of some one ubying it at higher price is very low.
    Limited Liquidity.
    Highly dependent on Market Trends.
    HIgh Maintenance Costs.

Chances of someone like you is low.
These watches are made for people paying $40K to charter jet flights.
      $20K yacht rentals.
      Ultra high net worth individuals.

But does it cash flow 💸

@Ahmed Habib no… cash flows ONE DIRECTION into your bank account and doesn’t reverse direction as a result of changing market. Once deposited it is yours. Appreciation is never yours until the day you sell. The profit you get is conditional. If the market flips on its belly, you’re underwater.

    Give me a break.
A watch is a luxury item.
You might as well go buy bitcoin or some other tulip that only has value if the next guy is willing to pay more for it. Come on man.
    Do better.

If you buy the right watches it like any other investment , you’ll make money , not like bitcoin at all 😂😂

I just mean that the only way to make money is to find someone who is willing to pay more for it than you did. Same as bitcoin.
