    Shoutout to everyone chasing the dream. Since last year I've cleaned up my act, living more frugally and am halfway towards the deposit I need to buy my first house. I know some people have billions and can invest in amazing watches but for me to stop renting is a huge deal and I'm very proud of myself because I know I can get there. Watching these videos helps keep me motivated too! So thanks and good luck to everyone, aim high!

      Exactly! My grandfather bought a Rolex Submariner REF# 1680 in 1970. He Never took it off until 1984 and gave it to my dad when he graduated. My dad never took it off as well until he passed it along to me which was when I graduated in 2014. I haven’t taken it off, except for servicing. Now it’ll be passed to my son when he graduates! Keeping the family tradition going! Love my watch, not just because it’s a Rolex, but because of who wore it.

    I have had a bad go with watches , I am 53 and bough a $600 Citizen Eco Drive t 200 mtrs wr and the max of my budget I loved it . Approx 2 weeks later I helped my dad lift a lounge through his back door and scratched it deeply on the brick work. It was never the same so I took it to a pawn shop and got $90 for it ,and I had the papers and certificate for it.Then my Bro bought me a Rolex ,I guess copy and when I put my jacket on ,the sleeve had a zipper on it and my fault, It went over the winder and as I stretched my arms it pulled the winder pin out and I didn't know .Now that watch is sitting in front of me now . I have only worked as a shit kicker but I do have have a lot of valuable hobbies but always sell too cheep as I have health issues ..We will leave it at that .Your videos are fantastic ,please keep them coming Kind Regards ,Bradley..

      TheRunningSloth. Real estate investing is a good option for creating wealth, especially if you want to have control over your investment, compared to relying on the stock market to do well with your money.
      I think He’s referring to the BRRRR method: Buy, rehab, rent, refinance, repeat. Buy property below market value, add value, find tenants, refinance to pull equity out, use that equity to repeat the process.

    Don't let this fool you, watches are almost never a good means of investment outside of a small handful of models that increased in value because of marketing.
    Consider that if you buy a watch as an investment, you can't use it, meaning you can't enjoy it. Plus, watches require servicing and care. It's easy for Michael and the store owners to hold them, but they're highly educated on the subject and enjoy/do it professionally.
    Plus, Michael is friends with store owners that will sell it to him for a fair price. In reality, you will be very hard pressed to find non-shady dealers who will sell you without a high premium.

      Well, yes and no, in those 20 years you had the opportunity to wear and enjoy the watch, and then still sell it for the same amount of money you bought it for. Objectively, due to inflation the watch technically did lose in value, but subjectively you won’t feel this as you got to wear it, and still sold it for the same amount of money.

He's there to get you to buy watches not help you with your finances. The fact of the matter is that he doesn't know what will be popular in 10+ years. Watches however are not a good investment if you are looking to make money.
    You would have been better off buying 3500 dollars worth of coca cola stock at 30 bucks a share in 1999 and having it worth 54 dollars a share today, plus the added bonus of 20 years of quarterly dividends.

    If you look closely during the middle of the video. He has a $250,000 Rolex Daytona Paul Newman sitting in the glass. He didn't bring out the good stuff, no way he wants nearly 1 million viewers seeing that watch.

    Hey Micheal, I’m from Singapore. I’m not a wealthy person. But only have SGD$60,000.
    I have a few question to ask;
    1. Which luxury watches would you recommend for a beginner on luxury watches for Investment?
    2. Before getting successful, if you only got SGD$60,000 in your bank account. Will you purchase a luxury watch for investment or saving it in the bank?

      Wrong buddy, buy something you like and at the same time is an investment. It is really nice if in 10 years shit went down and you could sell your watch for a little more than you paid for it. There are beautiful watches in all prices.
