Correction! It's been gracefully pointed out to me that not only did I mispronounce "cherubim", but I also used the plural version instead of the singular. On top of that, when I went to spell it in the video, I one upped myself and actually misspelled it as well. Apparently I just wanted to make absolutely sure I messed up every part of this word. This isn't the first time this has happened and it probably won't be the last. Definitely facepalming myself for this one, but I gotta admit... I got a good chuckle out of the total mediocrity of my attempt to speak and spell a perfectly speakable and spellable word. So I shall take this opportunity to give a bonus fact. *Ahem*... Cherubim is pronounced "Cherib-eem." It's the plural form of "Cherub"... Which is still not a chubby baby with wings. It's a good day to be human. I'm going to go pet my cat and get the rest of my foot out of my mouth now. G'day. 👋
Melissa, I got baptized yesterday and I want to thank you because it was you ( along with Allen Parr) who brought me to Jesus and Why I was reborn. Thank you

I've heard that one, but the idea of Satan being equal to God is hilarious to me. In Revelation, God sends Michael, an archangel, to defeat Satan. He is that unbothered. He's not leaving heaven for that. Don't get me wrong, archangels are also terrifying and we, as Christians, should take Satan seriously, but he's a fly compared to God.
I was just talking to my kids about that. To illustrate it, I told them "there's a reason there's no video game of God vs. satan. Cause if it were realistic, it would just be "press this button to order the destruction of satan. Game over! You win!"
We had a guest speaker at our church a couple years back, he said what you did,the word Christian coming up 3 times and how we are called to be disciples. He had a quote "Every disciple is a Christian but not every Christian is a disciple"
@Arkav3x a disciple is a student, in this case it means to follow and be like Jesus. The guest pastor for instance asked "what does it mean to be a Christian? What is the definition? " there could be multiple answers to that question but there is one solid answer to what a disciple of Jesus is. Just because someone calls themselves a Christian doesn't mean they are living the way Jesus called us to live or even bother to try.
5:01 | “The Bible encourages rational exploration and reasonable examination.“ “Rational exploration” and “reasonable examination” are definitely needed in our journey for biblical truth! Thank you for debunking these common misconceptions about the Bible, Melissa.
I’m a new christian and I’ve been struggling with this. What bible verses encourage rational exploration and reasonable examination? I’d really appreciate it if you could provide some examples, please :)
@@Danroes In Acts 17:10-12, Luke describes the Bereans examining the scriptures (Old Testament) to see if Paul and Barnabas were speaking truth. In 1 Peter 3:15, Peter encourages his readers to always be ready to give a reason for your hope in Christ. In Hebrews 11, the author show that the Christian faith is built on the faithfulness of God, and that faithfulness is shown throughout the Old Testament.
I would like to elaborate... "God won't give you more than you can handle" is the misuse and incorrect quotation of First Corinthians 10:13, which actually says: No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. He won't allow more temptation than we can handle AND will always provide a way out. An alternative option, if you will. 🙂🙂🙂
Today, right now, I understood what people mean when they said theres misuse. I don't even think I've ever used the misused version to encourage anybody or myself, but I've seen lots of videos on its misuse and was confused why the person explaining thought it was important. Now I get from your comment, it's temptation Vs hard times. 😅Doh!
I was a pastor/elder of a new age church. I'm older and I got sucked in because of the charisma and the desire to reach the younger generation. It wasn't long before I realized what I was in and began to ask questions. I began a mid-week study group teaching how to study the Bible and New/Old Testament surveys. My whole goal was to help the congregation understand what God says about Himself. The lead pastor was not happy about this. He began to recommend other new-age, non or extra-biblical studies. He then surrounded himself with yes men and pushed me out. This was a good video, and the closing described this leader and his church exactly.
I am acutely aware that Melissa is well above average in intelligence. Her insightfulness makes it a joy to listen to her. As far as cherubim are concerned I've heard some descriptions that bear no resemblance to 'anything' we've ever seen in the physical world. From what I've read in Revelation chapter four we're going to see quite a few things that will make our jaws drop.

Yes or you only believe because you were told/your parents told you and grew up going to church...bruh if im still blindingly following after all these years something has to be wrong...
This confrontation is probably from people believing Progressive Christianity and seeing the need to tear down the authority of the church and the Bible and of Jesus our Lord.
Another good fact, especially to reach those that grew up in prosperity churches, would be that it’s not a requirement to speak in tongues to be a Christian or to be saved. I was taught this as a child and was really frustrated that I couldn’t do it. I would literally fake speaking in tongues.
My mom's charismatic side of the family was pretty abusive and would be completely awful to each other despite being outwardly filled with the HS, so according to her they're all faking it. I was never allowed to go to those types of churches as a kid but I've always been very curious about it and about how many are genuine vs performative.
The example in Acts of the gift was one of being given the ability to spontaneously speak a language one had not learned in order to share the gospel with one whom did not understand the speaker's native language. The hearer could INTERPRET THE MESSAGE. The "tongues" used in churches today are NOT BIBLICAL and should be rebuked by the Blood of Jesus Christ. A leader who allows this babble to go on in the congregation should be disciplined if not outright REMOVED but people don't know the Word of God well enough to dispute the practice with any authority...even when they're in total disagreement. It's a satanic toehold in millions of churches today and blinds "Christians" to demonic strongholds in their own lives, leading to deep bondage, stealing peace and robbing them of life and the ability to spread the gospel! I HATE THAT PASTORS STAND AT PULPITS AND BABBLE. IT'S ABSOLUTELY DEMONIC AND ONE SHOULD RUN!
A LONG time ago (think the days when people only had books for info), when I was a little kid, I remember looking through one of those HUGE illustrated Bibles. Able was illustrated as being killed by Cain with a rock. Up until just about a year ago I found out that the Bible did not say this. I have read that story hundreds of times…how did I miss it? Tradition is a powerful thing!!
Tradition is a man-made thing. I don't like to call it powerful because tradition holds no real power or truth. Those are man-made ideas. Some are harmless, some are not. Stick to scripture and not tradition. This is mentioned in the New Testament, I can't remember where, but you can do a search and find it.
@@trevorjameson3213 point taken. I realize that nothing has any real power and that God is ultimately ALL powerful. What I was referring to is the powerful effect of tradition on the human psyche and how we interpret our world. We all believe one lie or the other based on tradition. When we finally find out the truth, we have to change the way we think. For instance all of the fables surrounding Santa, the “Easter bunny” etc.. If as children we are taught this foolishness, we believe it because…TRADITION…not fact or reality, or the TRUTH of scripture. We are all living in this broken sin-sick world wading through a thick swamp of lies. Only Christ is true. SOLI DEO GLORIA!

Sure wish someone had told me early on that not all churches were actual churches. Thankfully I stumbled upon Paul Washer, Justin Peters and John MacArthur’s “Truth War” book. Keep up the good work Melissa! Soli Deo Gloria! 💥🌷📖
Those 3 are good however they still have issues of their own they need to deal with........... As when it comes to scripture they do some good teachings on it at times......... But other times they teach that the power of the Holy Spirit (the spiritual gifts) don't exist anymore. I know first hand that is not true.......... And I am not talking about the false tongues of the Charismatic churches......... Another issue I have with some of these people. Is they know the scriptures yet it didn't stop them from supporting a habitual sinner. Which God's Word in Timothy says not to do..........
Sorry, but Justin Peters believes that God doesn't speak to people. So He spoke to all those people throughout the entire Bible, but after pouring out the Holy Spirit to the Body of Christ He just stopped communicating. Yep, sure buddy. It's not even common sense to think that. I've heard from God myself ever since I was baptized in the Holy Spirit, AND I can think back to before that supernatural baptism and spot times He spoke to me before I was ever born again in the Spirit. So in this regard Justin Peters operates in egregious pride. Pray for him, but don't believe him.

These kinds of videos are always so fun! They always give me a chuckle because I used to think many of them years ago. Been a Christian for 35 years, and I'm hoping one day you will say something I don't know!
It takes all I have to not say something when someone mentions someone who dies that they get their angel wings or that they now have an angel in heaven. Side note: Your hair looks fantastic :)
I either work to remain silent (when at a funeral) or I try to tell the truth in the most encouraging way… because it is so encouraging! How boring to be an angel! They actually are amazed themselves at what God has done and is going to set us doing! (1 Peter 1:12) One day, we are going to rule and reign over them. Of course Satan would take that little tidbit and corrupt it!
The first one, and im screaming thank you...I'm so sick of people saying this when someone dies...no people, they aren't an angel watching over you...we all have a purpose and so do the angels...if we were to turn into an angel, we might as well been created as such...
I will never forget when I was a junior in high school and my English teacher pronounced Job like "Jahb" for something we were studying and I agreed (because I wasn't Christian yet and had no idea). Then she laughed and pronounced it the right way and I was so embarrassed. Goodness LOL.
I had a neighbor as a kid that got mad at me for pronouncing “Job” wrong. I retorted that I’d never been to Sunday school. And then he used little comment to throw me under the bus and tell this Christian girl I didn’t go to church. The girl then proceeded to tell me that while she was flying around up in Heaven, she would laugh at me as she watched me burn. That was one of my first experiences with Christians. All started over something silly.
@@kaylynn4750 : Wow, no love there! They were being raised with the wrong values big time. Laughing as you watch someone burn? Ouch, that's horrible, like psychopath horrible.
The "still small voice" thing is probably the hardest for me. I grew up in a church where everyone was expected to "get a word" from God like every single Sunday. We left that church/affiliation two years ago and we are still unlearning a lot of teaching. But the still small voice one...that's the hardest.
Even in Ezekiel, the still small voice was external…Ezekiel stood at the moth of the cave to hear it better since it wasn’t in his head. Still, Jesus said the Spirit will remind us of what we’ve learned. While God might not be talking to us directly without the Word, I don’t think it’s unbiblical to say that he pulls things up from our memory of the Bible and it “translates” to feeling like he’s speaking
We have the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues and the interpretation of tongues. Jesus will also speak to anyone in prayer. So it is much more than a still small voice for those who pray sincerely. But the issue is not the voice, it's that some people are not able to discern spirits. If you can hear Gods voice you will also hear other spirits and you need discernment to know the difference.
@@JessicaTayB The Spirit of the Living God who created the whole universe with his Word comes to dwell in YOUR Body and you expect him to stay silent? Funny thing is, if you expect him to stay silent, he loves you enough to stay silent.

several years ago, someone brought up that it was Adam's job to tend the garden, and that he let Satan in. I decided I needed to read for myself and completely stopped when I read, 'and she turned to -' referring to Adam. she did not go get him, or yell, she turned to him. meaning he was right there. I was so angry because growing up, I listened to preachers who blamed the fall of the world on women. but no one EVER mentioned that Adam was RIGHT. THERE. I'm kinda bummed about the unicorns, though. as a child and early teen, I loved them, lol. I even had a record with bible songs and there was one about how the unicorns didn't listen to Noah, too busy playing, and all died in the flood.

I agree that number 16 is not found verbatim in the Bible. I think the cleanliness expression may come from the ubiquitous use of cleanliness in ceremonial temple practices and even personal hygiene found in the Old Testament. Obviously, the main purpose was for God to show the other nations that Israel was a distinct chosen people set apart for His glory.
9:57 I think the word //Unicorn// simply means "single horn". Therefore, it could be one of any number of creatures that had a single horn (an example would be "Rhinoceros unicornis" - a scientific name of the Indian rhinoceros).
What I originally was going to say is... there's nothing in the word //unicorn// that indicates that its referring to a horse like animal or equine (I think people who wanted to critique the Bible or have a fun "gotcha" moment used that verse without realizing nothing in it specifies a horse like creature).
When I was younger, I had the exact thought about Satan being God’s opposite and equal; probably made him feel even more PRIDEFUL!! Thank God that got cleared up!! I don’t like labelling any particular sins as deadly because ALL sin is deadly; and don’t we always hear the distorted version that money is the root of all evil 😖
I could be wrong, but I think the "deadly sins" are so called because most all other individual sins can be traced back to those 7 "umbrella" sins. Lying is an individual sin, but people lie for a reason - pride or envy or laziness or greed, etc. Adultery is a sin, but it can usually be traced back to lust and envy, etc. Stealing falls under the umbrellas of envy and greed, etc. And so on and so forth. Again, I could be way off base here, but I've understood the 7 Deadly Sins to be the general attitudes of the heart that give rise to all other sinful acts - thus, they are "deadly" for our faithfulness and the Church as a whole.
A couple days ago, I actually looked up if the 7 Deadly Sins were actually in the Bible. I didn’t think they were, but wanted to know where they came from. This was a great video! The Bible can be twisted just slightly to still sound good, but not be Biblical anymore.
Interesting and informative. There's been many things people have claimed were in the Bible which are not. "God helps those that help themselves" is one of them. Keep up the good work.
Fun tidbit about the unicorn. The Indian (Maybe White, I forgot) Rhinoceros has the scientific name "Rhinoceros Unicornis". Which the verse utilizing the name unicorn, is referencing God's patience and his might, that of a rhino who is docile until boundaries are overstepped. I liked rhino's before knowing this, because they have the playful nature of a dog when it trusts a human, and if that human is hurt... Well, rhino's are known to ram into trees to shake animals down from it.

In the account of David and Goliath, most would recall a vivid picture of a giant and a little boy 🤔 1. Goliath was huge, probably 9 feet tall 2. King Saul was a “head taller than all the rest” 3. David was given Saul’s amour to wear, he tried to move around but was not used to wearing such things nor did he practice fighting in armour… he would have been of similar stature to Saul. 4. As well there is an account of David’s reputation in the chapter before the show down, “Then one of the young men said, "Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite who is a skillful musician, a mighty man of valor, a warrior, one prudent in speech, and a handsome man; and the LORD is with him." 1 Samuel 16:18 NASBS David was not a little boy, but a young man…
I believe that being overly wealthy is a big obstacle to trusting in God simply because of the power we gain and power is what we strongly want as a fallen human race.
Love this video!! Thank you so much for your insight. I am a kindergarten teacher at a private Christian school and you will be astonished at how many young children already have been told that people become angels. I gently correct them and say it is not in the Bible and explain how angels are separate beings that existed beforehand. So many misconceptions are still being fed to our children.
For #6, what really annoys me is that “leap of faith” is traced back to Kierkegaard, who was not only a great but misunderstood Christian theologian/philosopher, but who also coined that phrase to describe the trust element of faith and the ability to transcend normal circumstances because GOD PROMISED something, not because of wishful thinking or not thinking at all.
Thanks Melissa, All great points and quite accurate. Here another point people don't understand. The sixth commandment about not committing adultery is not just about sex but also about being unfaithful--especially in a marriage. In a marriage it is anything that breaks down the marriage covenant. If you waste the money you both share and buy some extravagant thing you are being unfaithful and breaking down the marriage covenant. Anything that breaks down the marriage covenant is adultery.
@@TexasHoosier3118 no, I didn't say that. I said buying stuff in secret without letting your spouse know is breaking down the marriage covenant. Why? Because you in marriage are one flesh
That’s interesting, what leads you to that conclusion? @@noahboyd2186 What most people don't understand is adultery isn't just sex its also infidelity-its about being faithful-to your spouse and to God. I went to a Christian elementary school, and my teacher used to say “cleanliness is next to godliness”. She would also do a “sniff test” with our hands after we went to the bathroom to make sure we used soap. 😂 I’m cracking up.
I'm not at all a Christian but it's so interesting how we have all these misconceptions about the Bible completely soaked into our cultures. Thank you for these videos!!
Love these, thank you! The light heartedness makes these great to share while providing truth and facts people don’t know or have a different perception of. 🙏💜
My favorite thing that I heard listening to someone preach don't remember who but they were like the Bible doesn't say she ran across the garden to Adam and I died laughing at that...
If anything, Adam is MORE responsible, because even in the original Hebrew text we don't see Eve being given the commandment directly. In Genesis 2, which is simply a more detailed account of creation, the commandment was given to Adam before Eve was created. And in Genesis 3 Jesus called for Adam first after it happened and only addressed Eve after Adam tried to blame Him for putting her there with him.
The confusion with unicorn is that it has changed meaning over time. The current meaning is a white horse like creature with a horn. However if you check the definition in Websters 1828 dictionary, it is a one horned rhinoceros. There are also fossils of rhinoceros like creatures with a massive single horn (Siberian unicorn).
Funny video and truths! Amen! Two of my pet peeves in this area are people calling the last book "Revelations" (totally missing the title of the book and its meaning), and the whole "Gates of St. Peter" thing, like Peter will be a doorkeeper to Heaven or something lol
G'day. 👋
😂😂👏👏
😂 😂 keep up the awesome content and positive attitude

I've heard that one, but the idea of Satan being equal to God is hilarious to me. In Revelation, God sends Michael, an archangel, to defeat Satan. He is that unbothered. He's not leaving heaven for that. Don't get me wrong, archangels are also terrifying and we, as Christians, should take Satan seriously, but he's a fly compared to God.
And yet he left heaven for us. That’s got to be the ultimate insult to Satan

We had a guest speaker at our church a couple years back, he said what you did,the word Christian coming up 3 times and how we are called to be disciples. He had a quote "Every disciple is a Christian but not every Christian is a disciple"
Sounds like a good Guy.. Who was it? 😀
@Arkav3x a disciple is a student, in this case it means to follow and be like Jesus. The guest pastor for instance asked "what does it mean to be a Christian? What is the definition? "God won't give you more than you can handle" is the misuse and incorrect quotation of First Corinthians 10:13, which actually says:
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
He won't allow more temptation than we can handle AND will always provide a way out. An alternative option, if you will. 🙂🙂🙂
I came here to say this also!
@@ABRoberts so did I.

The Bible predicts the future. Some of those still future predictions are stated in the past tense. That's because God speaks to His people from outside of time.

Hi Patricia, right on. Just liké thé depiction of Noah's ark that looks like a tub boat.
Yes, same here!
Tradition is a man-made thing. I don't like to call it powerful because tradition holds no real power or truth. Those are man-made ideas. Some are harmless, some are not.
I’m sorry! John MacArthur is a Calvinist. You need to be a Christian to get into heaven.

Michelle Kampmeier, we’ll never know it all but I do get the embarrassment part
Yes ...many "new agers" are guided by inner thoughts/voices that later they learned were unclean spirits. So, those kind can lead a person astray.

Woohoo ❤️
I worked as a preschool teacher too
Love your videos
Greetings from Taiwan 🇹🇼
Wish more Chinese Christians listen to this channel here🙏
A couple days ago, I actually looked up if the 7 Deadly Sins were actually in the Bible. I didn’t think they were, but wanted to know where they came from. This was a great video! The Bible can be twisted just slightly to still sound good, but not be Biblical anymore.
Thanks Melissa! I love Bible facts; please post more! ❤️
I love you so much, Melissa! 🤌🏼
Satan would show up as a coexist sticker 😂😂
Except the "t" would be for "trans" not ✝️
I remember growing in the Lord and having many of my childhood Bible stories wrecked 😂
🥰 Thank you for the teaching session. 🥰🙏✝️📖⛪️. I look forward to all your videos.. 👍
The way you are, in your jokey yet very serious way of being...reminds me so much of a certain person...lol... We'd be the best of friends 😁😅😂 Love you Melissa! Oh, and thank you for yet again some wise information on certain areas I had not yet known about until now.
Melissa, I just love you and your channel. Its made me understand and really think about a lot of things, things that are so important. People need to know this information so bad! So thankful for you! Keep up the good work!.....p.s. you know, you talk about all these other people who have such great information and who you've learned from, well YOU are one of them! 😁😁❤❤
Another one! Someone close to me had a slight disagreement with me when I told her that the Serenity Prayer was not in the Bible. No, it is not.
Love your truly biblically based, honest work as a servant of God, and the way you teach. It retains it's serious subject matter, with genuine natural humor. Laughter is vital, helps us stop taking ourselves, oh so deadly seriously! Haven't had so many deep belly laughs for a long time than while watching you on YT. It's reenergising & refreshing for the soul. A good soul cleanser! The depth & seriousness of your subject matter is not diminished one iota by this. In fact it helps. Our worlds are already heavy enough. Soul weariness can destroy. So a big thank you again, and
Keep it flowing!!!
Heathen are not the servants of God
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one who "ran with" the idea of unicorns 😂😂😂😂 PS your videos help me so much!
I love you, Melissa! Your videos are so simple, and I always get a laugh to start my day! Learning is fun, right. I almost spit my coffee out on that last one, Job, isn’t pronounced job😂😂😂 🙏🏾
Thank you for teaching us about His Word. He Has rising

"God will never give you more than you can handle" I hear that all the time. My response is. Yes, he could but he expects us to run to him when that happens for help to handle it.
In the account of David and Goliath, most would recall a vivid picture of a giant and a little boy 🤔
1. Goliath was huge, probably 9 feet tall
2. King Saul was a “head taller than all the rest”
3. David was given Saul’s amour to wear, he tried to move around but was not used to wearing such things nor did he practice fighting in armour… he would have been of similar stature to Saul.
4. As well there is an account of David’s reputation in the chapter before the show down, “Then one of the young men said, "Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite who is a skillful musician, a mighty man of valor, a warrior, one prudent in speech, and a handsome man; and the LORD is with him." 1 Samuel 16:18 NASBS
David was not a little boy, but a young man…
What does any of that have to do with you heathen Bill? am I missing something
@@hebrews4122 ummmm, okay....? just refuting another common misconception...
This is really helpful for me as I'm slowly becoming Christian again.
Kierkegaard is wonderful!
Melissa you are indeed a blessing!! Praise almighty God for you!!
This was so good 😊 and yes I do feel smarter already.
Ooooh Melissa, I just love you Sister 🥰❤️🙏🏼
You are refreshingly hilarious and I love the informarion you share. Keep up the good work!
Sin is the root of all evil. Keep sharing the truth!
Thanks Melissa,
All great points and quite accurate.
So somebody could have been stoned for buying too much stuff?
@@TexasHoosier3118 no, I didn't say that. I said buying stuff in secret without letting your spouse know is breaking down the marriage covenant. Why? Because you in marriage are one flesh
That’s interesting, what leads you to that conclusion? Not saying you’re wrong, and I would agree that it’s best to pursue unity in all areas of the marriage relationship, I’ve just never heard anything like that regarding that passage, are you getting that from the Greek? I know sometimes the original language has more meaning.
@@noahboyd2186 What most people don't understand is adultery isn't just sex its also infidelity-its about being faithful-to your spouse and to God. Those who resist Jesus are an adulterous generation (Matt 13:39) Love of the world is adultery against God (Jms. 4:4). When you think of adultery in any relationship its unfaithfulness (infidelity) not just sex.

I love your videos, Melissa. With these '20 things' videos, I learn new things and have a good laugh. God bless you and your ministry!
Speaking of the word Christian meaning anything in 2022, I saw the term "Christian atheist" in a secular article the other day 🤦♀️
Thanks for using potatoes as a rating scale. They are, beyond question, the greatest food on the planet! ; ) first time watching and now a new subscriber. Keep it up!
17. What about 1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it"
Hey Celia,
You are correct in your biblical reference. There are Christians out there that, whether they realize it or not, misquote this reference, thus potentially causing spiritual harm.
Yet another wonderful video my sister. My favorites were "Was Eve Alone", "Just Have Faith Alone" (not applying study & reason), and "Money Is The Root Of All Evil". Keep up the good work!
I went to a Christian elementary school, and my teacher used to say “cleanliness is next to godliness”. She would also do a “sniff test” with our hands after we went to the bathroom to make sure we used soap. 😂 I’m cracking up.
Eww, she sniffed yalls hands. That's super weird.
Weird
I'm not at all a Christian but it's so interesting how we have all these misconceptions about the Bible completely soaked into our cultures. Thank you for these videos!!
Love your videos Melissa❣️
I would love to find and buy a coffee cup like yours.
Where can I find one?😍☕️
Seconding this!
Yes!! I came to scroll the comments to find that mug! :p
Love these, thank you! The light heartedness makes these great to share while providing truth and facts people don’t know or have a different perception of. 🙏💜
I’ve replayed your first sentence at least 10 times and I’m still trying to figure out what you’re saying there 😂
I think I’m hearing “Snapple facts”, and if I am, then that’s a clever description for the 20 facts you’re talking about here 👌🏼
Yup, you're right. :-) Snapple used to be my favorite childhood drink because of the Snapple facts. I had an entire bin full of them that I collected.
@@MelissaDougherty Yes, I loved Snapple’s different flavours, and especially those bottle cap facts
My favorite kind of video! Thanks Melissa!
Of course Eve was not alone. Adam was responsible just as much as Eve. He should have stopped her.
My favorite thing that I heard listening to someone preach don't remember who but they were like the Bible doesn't say she ran across the garden to Adam and I died laughing at that...
@@classicstorm 🤣🤣🤣
If anything, Adam is MORE responsible, because even in the original Hebrew text we don't see Eve being given the commandment directly. In Genesis 2, which is simply a more detailed account of creation, the commandment was given to Adam before Eve was created. And in Genesis 3 Jesus called for Adam first after it happened and only addressed Eve after Adam tried to blame Him for putting her there with him.
This is all good. I must watch more of your videos.
If you don’t know a Chris ladies and gentlemen… now you do
Thank you for sharing these facts 👍🏻. Keep on keeping on 🙏🏻👊🏻.
So it just goes to show: read your bible!
I loved the rhymes Melissa. I can't get enough of the you on the tube of you

@@hebrews4122 : You are one truly screwed up dude...
Wait, do people really think there was a drummer boy involved when Jesus was born? 😂
And the wise men were not at the manger either . They met Jesus later when he was a small child.
@@MarieVanWey that gets me every time. Why do churches perpetuate this?
Funny video and truths! Amen! Two of my pet peeves in this area are people calling the last book "Revelations" (totally missing the title of the book and its meaning), and the whole "Gates of St. Peter" thing, like Peter will be a doorkeeper to Heaven or something lol
