    I had the chance to spend a snowy weekend with the 2019 Rav4 LE AWD and it did not disappoint! It handled all the weather conditions with ease! Sure, it is fairly basic in regards to touch and feel, but the user experience still holds up nicely as a daily driver. Once you get passed some of the plastic it is a very pleasant driving experience.

    Great review. Just got one. The blind spot alert and heated seats aren't standard but you can get the upgrade at a reasonable price to still keep it budget

    I just bought a 2019 AWD Rav4 and i love it.
    The new front end they put on them is awesome. Not only does it look great, but the big engine bay gives you room to access every part of the engine if repairs or maintenance is needed. The only minor complaint i have, is when you take the key out, your hand hits the fan control everytime. Also, if you are looking to buy one, Toyota financing is offering 0% interest for 5 years, and, 90 days deferred payments. (You have to qualify for it.)

      @@TheCarCreative I. Completely agree man! I was wondering when you were driving the LE, is it possible to turn off the lane trace assist function while driving on the highway? Like for example, if highway traffic is less busy i would use lane trace assist but if the traffic starts to get busy, could i turn off the function while driving on the highway?

    I'm watching this in September of 2021, and as an owner of a 2021 RAV4 LE (In the US) I have to say that this goes to show the clever marketing and considerate approach from Toyota. Because the car is for the Canadian market, heated seats come as standard, while my 2021 LE does not have it (it takes I think XLE, plus selecting an option/package). The alloys on this car are also a nice thing as standard, since the US versions only have alloys on the XLE trim and up. The LE uses steel wheels with covers.

    I was hoping for a test in the snow, maybe in a snow covered parking lot or something to show it's AWD capability. I just bought a 2020 Rav-4 xle AWD a few months ago and I really like it. Obviously a few more features than the model previewed but haven't seen any videos on the AWD capability in the snow. It hasn't snowed here yet,(Maryland U.S.A.) I'm sure it will do well (like you said) but I really want to see a video where it shows it in action.

    • @davidarmstrong1421
      @davidarmstrong1421 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just traded my 2019 Camry for the 2021 RAV4. The Camry was awful and slow and hesitates when accelerating onto the highway.
      The RAV4 uses the same engine but they must have it tuned differently because it’s pretty quick and very responsive. I’ve only had my RAV4 for 3 days but so far it’s a much better vehicle. I got the LE model and just put on a leather wrap steering wheel. Next I might order clazzio seat covers for it in faux leather and then it will be a little higher end while still being cheaper than the XLE

    Good review, but it was missing the ride/steering quality as I have read that the steering is a little vague.

      The Car Creative Yes, the plastic steering wheel feels cheap.

    • @davidarmstrong1421
      @davidarmstrong1421 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you get a custom steering wheel wrap made for the RAV4? I just got one 3 days ago a 2021 LE and I got one off Amazon but it’s not custom where it covers the entire wheel including the volume areas on the wheel but it feels and looks much better. Next I’m thinking of ordering faux leather seat covers from clazzio.com to make it look higher end while protecting the cloth seats.
      I’m loving the RAV4 much better than my 2019 Camry. I hated the Camry and it had issues that Toyota couldn’t diagnose so I finally got what I really wanted which was the RAV4.

    • @user-tb7rn1il3q

      @@davidarmstrong1421 My cover fits on with friction and is faux leather. It actually looks and feels pretty good. I do not like thin steering wheels (big hands). I don’t have the patience to put on a stitched cover, though it would look better. The RAV4 is much nicer than the Camry and not much more expensive. It holds its value much better. Crossed fingers, no issues at 45k miles.

    Balling on a budget is more like a preowned Lexus nx200t that can be had for $23-27k and has extremely good reliability. Toyota are bulletproof same goes with Honda cars (not all). I like this little suv though for the reliability and lower insurance rate over Audi Q5 (recently rented). RAV4 for the win and more masculine looking!

      I can answer. I had a crv for 6 months and had to get rid of it due to engine oil mixing with gas. So I got rav4 which is what I wanted most. Seat sucks a bit. It’s stiff and it’s like one inch off from being perfectly positioned. It drives me insane. Mine are manual and I can’t get it perfect. I’m 6 feet and 155lbs. I had it perfect once and then dealer moved it when I had oil change. I was livid lol.

      Like I’m either too far from wheel or too close. I can raise it but feel up too high or too low. It’s been 7 days now and I can’t get it back to normal. I’ve had many cars and never had this issue
