I tried to withdraw from suboxone for 3 months and my symptoms never let up. I’d have days when it wasn’t at the top of my head and I could concentrate on the task at hand - but I never got rid of the pain the yawning the runny nose and stomach cramps. I guess I’m just weak and maybe not as committed as I thought I could be. I never made it past the 90 day mark. 😑

I would say it is just not time to quit them yet. You will get to a point when you have had enough. Keep maintaining and inching slowly in the right direction. I tried and failed so many times. You are not weak. You are just not ready yet. After I made this set of videos, I relapsed after 90 days. That is why the older set of videos stopped because I relapsed and didn’t want to talk about it and disappoint people . I mentioned my relapse in my first newer channel update. It took me another four years of eating subs after that and three more withdrawal tries before I succeeded. Honestly, there are still some days where my brain is so skitzed out I can’t think and especially after quitting weed I have those days often. It does get better. Do not give up hope!!! Hang in there! Take your time. Ty for sharing your story:)

I'm on day 18/19 and from a 6mg CT from Subutex. I am finding my biggest issue is sleeping too much, stomach pain and fatigue. I've slept 8-12 hours a night since I jumped off and still am having to take a nap by 3. I have told my kids every weekend for the last 3 weeks that next weekend will be better. I really hope it happens soon lol. Oh, and I have the same metallic taste after I smoke now, too. I used to be convinced it was from withdrawal but now I think it's because my taste buds are actually working again. Keep up the good work, bud!

Day 32. ish....I have been tired after lunch and I am pretty much worthless by the time I get home. lol I am up passed midnight and have to be at work by 630am 45 minutes from my house. I bet if I had time to sleep I definitely would. I swear it is easier to get used to feeling the way you do before the symptoms really begin to subside. I think you are right about the taste buds because I noticed right away I was more sensitive to smells and tastes. As long as I eat and drink more than I smoke the metallic taste is gone. But, every time I smoke too many cigs it comes right back..Thank you soooooo much for your support! Thanks for sitting through my ramblings! I am wishing I had you tuber experience before withdrawal but I am glad I made this vlog. There is some good stuff here and there in those terrible videos! lol (more to come soon!)I will continue to share whether people like it or not but, I hope someone out there can relate on some level. Once my brain comes fully around I will have better content. O. and... Good luck with the kids, they are never satisfied. lol Mine is sitting right here trying to get in my business right now! uhhhhhh Bedtime! j

Jessi Lynn. How are you going with your withdrawl are u still going strong ? I'm currently on day 21 it's been a battle and I'm still battling a little . I jumped off of 14mg a day I'm a little jealous that you are sleeping so well I struggle to sleep 2-3 hours a night it's pretty much my only syptom left and no matter what I do I just can't sleep any advice ?

Jessi Lynn. www.pbod.org/detoxing-suboxone-fear-caused-lack-knowledge/ I have been taking dopesick releases home from county jail for 10 years. Recently jail ride home stories include horrible suboxone withdrawal tales and no one seems to be warned in advance, or given a medical detox exit strategy ( MAT for the MAT ???) and relapse. So I started digging & I found this link by Dr Scanlan. Because he was on Suboxone I think is big part of reason he is one of only doctors researching not only how to get off suboxone if/when you are ready, but exactly how suboxone hijacks different receptors in different ways. Even the freakin metabolites require a detox. It's a long link but ever single word is important. PLEASE share with anyone you know on suboxone or about to start maintenance on it.

Ooh the yawns and teary eyes are rough but they are good as your brain is demanding more oxygen for repairs. It will lighten up in a week but I still gets the yawns here and there. It’s nothing compared to the acute withdrawal yawns though. Funny enough quitting weed has the same effect but much much more mild.
