  • In this video, I want to show you how to easily capture the night sky with stars using your iPhone. I am using the iPhone 12 Pro Max in this video, but you can use any other recent iPhone.
Also, I am using the ProRAW for better results, but even without it, you can get amazing results with just a Night Mode.

For a better night star’s picture ,Set your night timer to max(as said in the video) and reduce your exposure to -2.0. This will get rid of the unwanted sky brightness and only highlight the stars.

@@EldarGezalov Hi Eldar, I did indeed going with the 12 Pro Max and I'm very pleased I did! The camera is absolutely lush - I'm not entirely certain how a monoscope would link with the camera due to its dimensions, but I'm definitely keen to give it a go, if only to film wildlife in slow motion. We have an out of habitat family of parakeets where I live, and the kite and peregrine population is doing really well... if it does allow me to capture even vague images of M31, M42 and perhaps some globular clusters, that would be amazing!

Make sure you are not touching the phone at all. Leave it, take a 10 sec photo, and then it should give you 30 sec. Just make sure that you are using a tripod or the phone is on a solid surface

That's because of light pollution, in a city it's harder to see stars than in a desert, Use lightpollutionmap to find out if your sky is really dark (1 on the bortle scale) or really bright and impossible to see stars (9 on bortle scale)

So i have to buy an iPad as well after just blowing all my savings on an iPhone. Wtf 😂
It took me many many years to save enough money to buy this 14 pro max man sometimes I’d skip doctors visits just to save money. There’s no way I’ll be able to afford an iPad. I thought the iPhone was the most advanced mobile device ever and therefore would be capable of handling these editing apps but apparently not.
