Hi Andrew, I'm a huge fan. Greetings from Germany. I have learned a lot from your videos and wanted to point this out to you. That you can also control everything with small grid timers and event controllers. You've stuffed your new hangar full of them. Put a rotor in the floor, use the small head and from then on only build with small grid. That will save you a lot of space.
Thank you for the tip! I usually prefer to use the large grid stuff because I like the look of a bunch of high tech looking blocks everywhere, but you're right that in this case where I'm running low on space, small grid would probably make things much easier!
19:16 glad to see that I'm not the only one who spends a lot of time messing with event controllers, lights and timer blocks with the sole purpose of protecting myself from myself (when I could just not be stupid)
Something I always like to use when repairing a ship, especially a large one like the sandstorm is using a feature added by the multigrid projector plugin, if you tell it to highlight blocks it will tell you what blocks are still missing components. Which is very useful when repairing a ship because you can’t tell visually, welding all the blocks will still repair deformation even if not actually repairing the block
Large or small, the bridge deck on top of the Sandstorm will look fine as long as it's centered. It probably currently looks odd to you because of being off-center. Unless you're going to actually set up a "landing strip" on the Sandstorm roof, designing the bridge placement like an aircraft carrier would look odd. If I recall, the Aaron Transport hauls from SPAM to PAM, so ores can get refined at PAM. When you checked on it @ 9:00, was it on it's way to PAM, or SPAM? Editing cuts disoriented me, so unsure where it was headed at that time. If returning to SPAM, then being full wasn't a good thing. I learned something new today.. that you can set up events in the air vent. I'm no veteran player, but I haven't heard anyone else mention this before either. Thanks for including it in this episode.
Thank you for the tips!! The Aaron transport was heading to PAM at that time which is why I was happy it was full of previous materials :) And yeah I was surprised too that the vents had triggers for pressurized and depressurized. I just happened to see that on the event controlled wiki page while the game was booting back up after crashing!
Love it all! If you rebuild the Sandstorm insure you have under belly guns for base suppression missions. Bring the bridge forward just aft of the 3 turrets, angled up so you can see over front turret.
Hey, Andrew, something to try with the maniac ship. When printing event controllers from projections, sometimes they just don't work, and nothing will fix them. This happens A LOT with my event controllers for connectors. The only thing I've found to fix it is to remove it and put a brand new one (not from the blueprint) in there.
Even without editing it takes a good bit. A 40 min video like this, at 1080p and 60fps, will take 40 minutes to 1.5 hours to record, depending on if you pause OBS or not - and then will take 2-2.5 hours to upload to TH-cam depending on your upload speed and TH-cam's current server load. Editing just adds another 1-8 hours depending on your edits. Lot of work, lot of waiting.
My usual video recording pipeline is about 2-3 hours of recording, and then 3ish hours of editing. I try to cut videos at the 2 hour recorded mark because the longer I go, the more time editing will take too, but sometimes I go over! For instance, the one with the signal block receiver setup took 5 hours to record. Some creators are more efficient recording for an hour per episode, or doing minimal edits and leaving more of the footage in, but my current way of doing it takes 5 hours on average to produce a normal survival video.
Great work this one! or the hangar doors i like to use the same doors as your but i put an oldschool hangar door in the middle. It makes it a 2x3x1 instead of 2x2x1 and it looks cool lol
I don’t know if you saw it but I commented on the last video to use status lights to fix the gerfaso maniac or however it’s spelled. I thought it was funny to see you use the idea but not the way I expected
You should put all the timer blocks and the event ones in the server room ( the one with the tunnel ) Edit: You should redesign or reorder the inside of amg snowstorm in my opinion and maybe make the used space more useful
you should put the cockpit for the sandstorm in the middle instead of the back it would make it look not as weird having the cockpit all the way in the back and nothing in the front somthing to play with
There are many mods that can fix that. Many of which can be loaded client side with a plugin. That allows you to use cosmetic UI fixes on official servers and other servers. Hope that helps.

the event controllers etc in the new hanger actually make it look really cool and no as white and makes look like a technical panel wall
I agree! I love the look of the large grid event controllers and timers.

Thank you for the tip! I'll give that a try. The ship just won't take off!
PAM works for transport ships as well, if you don't want to hassle with all the ai blocks
Thank you for the tip! If the transport ship runs into any more issues, I might check that out :)
I didn’t know it took this long for recording and editing a video! No pressure though, keep making great content!
Even without editing it takes a good bit.

@@AndrewmanGaming yikes, normally for me, A hour of recording takes me 15 minutes to edit.
You should add name plate lcd's on the new hangar for the barista and coffee grinder.
Make the tower lean a bit forward.
Give it a forward rake so it kinda has a 'cutting edge' to it.
The bridge would look fine as is if you added a visual balance to the other side. Maybe a gun battery a little to the side and back.
Thats a complicated door. Well done! Still i would have used like 4 buttons.
Love your pressurisation work.

first redo lookd good...the raised platform. could definitely improve upon it though

You should make the cockpit like the U.S.S. Cygnus from the black hole.

Can't wait for nex one
18:40 door opens when not switch locked door closes when switch locked you should do that
I feel like a sensor could have help with the hangar
I liked the old bridge design tbh
Yeah, I think you could've just added in some of the new console block. Also, Captains Quarters are always just aft or below the Bridge.
We can make it better! And if not, I'll just rebuild something similar to the old one with the console blocks
Maybe a double bridge like on the venator from Star Wars kind of
As much as I love the amg sandstorm, please make a Europa based large grid ship
make door for the hangar for sandstorm
Do you know the mod "rotary airlock"? These doors are always airtight
Hey Andrew love your videos and I just have one question? Why do you sound like cavemanfilms
YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY SANDSTORM!!! \(^_^)/
Hey bud can you post the script for your solar tower display
I would love to play this game, but I will not because the UI is the worst I've ever seen.
Cool
Ay i wanna say if you get it
It will get better
