For seasonal depression I recommend, fresh air walks everyday, vitamin d supplements (cause we don’t get enough) meditation music ❤Having a daily gratitude journal & listening to positive affirmations on TH-cam. These are things that help me in the winter months. So lovely to see you getting your house all done up.
I busted up laughing when you chucked Henry over the fence 😂😂😂 RIP Henry. I absolutely love watching you turn your house into such a magical place All the lights and decor is so beautiful. Even Repotting plants and chopping wood for the first time is a joy to watch.❤
I’m sorry to hear about your mom. After mine passed my entire life fell apart. So good to see you taking steps to heal and have healthy balance… something I still work to find. Sending lots of love from Sedona x
I am totally going to copy cat with the lights because they are amazballz. I love lights, but her ideas here are great. I'm in the process of moving and it's one of the main things I'm looking forward to playing around with. it's very inspiring. thank you
You’re so amazing with all the things you do for yourself, building your van, doing up your house. And you’re such inspiration with your story/journey. You’re amazing!! 💖
I watch your channel because it is soothing to my soul! I initially found it because of the video with your friend, Shelby. You were such a caring soul and your friendship is beautiful. I have chronic lyme disease, and friends like that are hard to come by. I am having an awful flare right now and am stuck on my couch, and watching your videos helps me feel calm.. So, Thank you for making them!
Your dad is going to be so proud of all your accomplishments around the house. I’m especially excited for him to see your screened porch since he thought it wasn’t a good idea. You showed him! 😉
Thank you. I really needed to hear that today about how people are just complicated plants. That's exactly what I need. More simple way to take care of myself but it's just such a basic thing. I really appreciate you so much 💛
I love a wood fireplace.. So comfy. The house has turned out beautifully. I'm proud of you to see how far you've grown in such a short amount of time. I feel the same way about winter and the loss of Summer. I always get a weird feeling when the cold starts rolling in. I don't like it. Then with the time changes it makes it worse. I need sun to stay up until 9pm every night...lol.
I REALLY LIKE YOUR DECORATING STYLE- YOU INSPIRED ME TO DECORATE MY HOME IN A SIMILAR FASHION. THANKS STEPHIE LEE! YOU HAVE AN AMAZING LIFE. GOD BLESS!!!
Watching for you for years. You are a very strong woman. An inspiration to others. You remind me of my daughters. Take care of yourself and the rest will follow.
I get sad too, it's cold and I'm old. Most of my friends have already moved on and it's seems that all I'm doing now is waiting around to die. I'm hoping the sun comes back tomorrow, I sure need some sun to recharge my battery. Take care.
Oh girl. Your home is looking amazing I can relate to the seasonal depression and the holiday stuff. Lost my mom also. You keep going though because you are a strong woman. Much love from Iowa. ❤️🦋❤️
The seasonal depression is awful. I call it "soul scratching" cause it feels like my soul is trying to claw it's way out to spring. Your home is coming along beautifully, really happy to see you doing well.
@@lilhippie7193 It makes it worse when you live in a place that can't decide on what kind of weather it wants to have. lol. Where I am it was 30 degrees two days ago and 60 today! Happy I'm not buried in snow like poor ol Buffalo NY though! Stay well friend. Hopefully winter will go by quickly.
@@Streghamay I hear you there, Minnesotan friend here! It’s going to be a rough winter I can already tell lol BUT we will get through it just like we did last, we got this!
This was so enjoyable to watch you and see your sense of humor and love for your new home and your beautiful dog. You are a treasure. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you are sharing it with your dad. Look forward to your next video as always.❤
Man Stephi, When ever I feel down or depressed I can always watch one of your videos and get back on track. I never thought about myself being a plant, but I believe its really true. Somedays I feel droopy. Like today. I lost my neighbor of 8 years. So I am feeling down. I know he is in a better place. Then when I find out how to water myself.....bam. Im good till the next watering. You always give me reminders that I am still human and I need to take care of my spiritual life. The house is looking better and better! Those lights really made a lot of difference. Fare well, sweet Henry. We barely knew thee. As for chopping firewood, pro tip: you _want_ a chopping block. Two reasons: * You'll get the logs you're chopping up from the ground a bit, which is very much more comfortable and makes the work less back-breaking (literally). The split logs will fall down from the chopping surface and out of your way. * Also, when you split a log, the axe will hit the chopping block instead of the ground, which means that you won't break the edge of the blade. I'd recommend getting a tree stump/log of about 2-3 feet in length, and maybe 1 1/2 foot wide, for best comfort. I have... _way_ more experience with chopping firewood than I like to think about, and that experience is currently useless to me, so I figured I might share some of it with you. I really enjoyed your video showing your dad helping around the house it reminded me of my own dad too... But this video is just classic I'm just a recent follower of yours and I so enjoy watching your days... Your calm voice how kind you are to the animals but honestly when the plant died and you took it outside that was just so funny I'm sorry your ladder fell down when you try to get out of the tree I've had that happen to me when I was up on my roof on the house!!! God bless you be safe stay warm...
To help with splitting wood, put a larger piece of unsplit wood under your piece to be split. Gives a better angle of attack and something for the axe to land on. It’s quite addictive (at first). Best of luck this winter.
🤍 Your home is beautiful Stephi. Wow. I love to see how you can do anything you want now and you have excellent lung capacity. Those rocks you turned over are huge !!! My favorite: Your tree climbing skills (the fact that you willing to go up there with no one else around) and Ollie looking at the light at night!! Lol NOW we really gotta do a race! Let’s run the seasonal depression out of us both! Lol

It’s rough but thank you for saying you go through it too ❤
I too grew up without there being any presents under the tree for Christmas! So i know just how you felt watching Kids and people around you getting them! My Father waited til later in life to have children when we had to live on a Budget so like you me and my Brother had no Christmas.

I am grateful for you, Stephi. I am experiencing my depression hardcore already. Thank you for reminding me of the things I can do take care of myself. I really needed to hear that. Specifically the scheduling of everything. I also appreciate your strength in pushing forward. I'm on my own for the first time in years and I worry about money, my family and my elderly cat. it's hard to get everything accomplished, but I know it can be done. Much luv to you, from Portland, Maine 💜💜💜
Stephi you are an inspiration in all ways! Love your channel. You've got me moving more lately getting things done! I want to recommend that you buy a Kindling Cracker to split wood. I have the XL and it's amazing! Much safer (and much less energy expended) than swinging an axe as you use a sledge to drive the wood into the blade base. Northern Tool sells the original, and they do have the smaller one on sale now. (There are knockoffs out there). Take care!
My Dad would say, " this too shall pass." Stay positive. You got this, girl.
Amen.

Would you ever paint a mural on that fence ? would be pretty neat
6:09 can u tell me where that nice comfy looking coat is from?
I am grateful for you, Stephi. I am experiencing my depression hardcore already. Thank you for reminding me of the things I can do take care of myself. I really needed to hear that. Specifically the scheduling of everything. I also appreciate your strength in pushing forward. I'm on my own for the first time in years and I worry about money, my family and my elderly cat. it's hard to get everything accomplished, but I know it can be done. Much luv to you, from Portland, Maine 💜💜💜
Your house looks great !! Very pretty , take one day at a time !!
I love your cute personality 💗
Stephi you are an inspiration in all ways! Love your channel. You've got me moving more lately getting things done!
I want to recommend that you buy a Kindling Cracker to split wood. I have the XL and it's amazing! Much safer (and much less energy expended) than swinging an axe as you use a sledge to drive the wood into the blade base. Northern Tool sells the original, and they do have the smaller one on sale now. (There are knockoffs out there). Take care!
