  • I install Core Moto custom 3T stainless brake lines for the front along with a new rear line. I hack up the ABS pump to remove all the heavy bits while keeping the electronics intact. Almost 5ft of OEM rubber line is removed and replaced with much shorter stainless line. The overall feel results in a less mushy brake feel especially during hard use (track conditions). Around 5lbs lost after removing stock lines and ABS pump. Brakes are also much easier to bleed after this.

Hey Demetrios, awesome work and I envy your stamina and persistance:) Have you realised any change in the breaking performance? I am just asking as many people blame the ABS module for the woody non-progressive feel of XSR900 / MT-09 brakes, but I think it's mostly hearsay and guesswork. What's your take on this?

@@thejelinkofamily969 All the changes made a big difference. At the track I had full confidence in the front braking.

@@DemetriosMallous90That is expected of course if the ABS is not pulsing. Have you recognised a better 'brake feel' other than pulsing e.g. during initial bite etc?

@@thejelinkofamily969 I never experienced pulsing to begin with. The improvement is solely based on feel and consistency at the lever. If you’re hitting abs on track you’re squeezing too hard too fast.

Hello I recently did the same abs delete and bought the module for it but keep having TC issues. Keeps coming on. Does this happen to you?

Did you have issues with leaving the plugged up abs pump on the bike? That is what im currently doing now instead of hacking it up. Hoping it will work smoothly 🤞

Hi, what banjo bolt kit did you purchase for the front? What grommets and bolt types for the rear? Thanks in advance.

The Brembo’s use a M10x1.00mm bolt, OEM uses a M10x1.25mm bolt for every where else (front calipers & rear caliper+master).
