Oh no you did rush through Gettysburg and Leesburg :( there needs to be a separate episode for these two covering all the picturesque streets, houses and museums - enjoyed the short version. Hope you do a longer version next !
I am from West Virginia and my mother is Puerto Rican you always show the best parts of the states thank you for representing the mountain state so well💛💙 also enjoyed your Puerto Rico trip 🇵🇷 . And all your other videos!!!
These are truly impressive journeys during your camping outings that are so well captured and narrated throughout the video. As always, thanks for sharing!
Now that was a journey! What an epic trip. It's because channels like yours is why I eventually started my own. Thanks for inspiring others to take their own adventures!
Great video Robert! Harper’s Ferry is a beautiful little town. Will definitely visit there in the future! By no means a KOA fan, but that looks like it has pretty decent sites.
I'm not supposed to be watching this (I'm still back in California Summer of '19 as you near the Pacific NW) but it started playing on it's own and I'm listening to your jazzy sultry sound as you talk about walking the hills of Leesburg, Virginia and looking around the sites on the Appalachian Trail (thumbs up for pronouncing Apple At cha n) and my mind is doing a smash up of your background music (covered trumpet) with John Denver's Almost Heaven, West Virginia and - it's perfect. Today is the day I buy your CD.
wow i cannot believe your summer adventure is over. but i am so glad that i got to see all of the video's. i have a very long list of places i want to visit and some i want to revisit. as always i will see you on the road. it was so much fun. thank you
🙋♀️ I went to that RV show in Hershey, PA September 2019. because I heard about it from one of Robert’s videos a year ago or so. travelled from UK to US for that show. It was amazing. Love ❤️ from London, UK 🇬🇧
I paused this at 1:33:14 so I could take a nap. Dreamed I had invented some kind of burrito sanwhich thing called a "wobbler," Banjos with strings were playing in the background. Thanks for the crazy dream :-)
12 people thumbed this video down? WTF they must be some miserable people. How can anyone thumb down these videos? They are so interesting and uplifting. I am thinking they are jealous.
Hi Robert. It was great to meet you at the Hershey meet up. My wife and I enjoyed the food and drink at the Brewery. Looking forward to more of your videos. Please let me know if you need info on Centralia. I’ve made several videos there and can point you to where smoke and steam can still be seen and other remnants of the town.
Hi Robert, finished the series today on Amazon. Has taken some months with viewing here-and-there. Thank you for making the doc' and there's something charming about your presenting and filming style. Certainly a trip of a lifetime and I could see you were getting a bit tired by the time you reached the east coast. I can understand that though. My highlight was the Grand Teton / wider area in Wyoming. I'm from the UK and I've been the state's a number of times, not the north west of the middle though. They're the areas that interest me. Surprised to see you don't have more subscribers on TH-cam!
You know, you have some of the best video I’ve seen on TH-cam. You should get an Award or something. You are very inspirational and God has blesses you. Hope your back in Miami now to warm up. If you leave again, you need to come up the west coast and into a Sarasota. Camp at Siesta Beach Campground and we,can do some beers on Siesta in the Village.
I love that area of the country.--the Appalachians, Shenandoah Valley, the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Smokies...if only it wasn't so far away from California! I was in Shenandoah National Park last year but had to cut my visit short when I got a slow leak and persistent tire pressure alarm. I high tailed it down to the valley--didn't want to drive those mountain roads with the mini spare tire. If you're ever in the area again, check out Natural Bridge State Park. See you, as they say, down the road!
Robert thank you very much for such an excellent video production, The Voyage Home Movie - #SUMMER2019 Episode 40, will be waiting for more!!! Take care be safe!!! Saludos desde el norte de Tampa.. Ahora a ahorrar para comprarme un RV definitely..Thanks 🙌🙌💪🏻💪🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
And if you haven’t been there yet, you need to visit Appomattox Court House national park in Virginia. It’s neat to walk the road where the soldiers laid down their weapons
Millers is one of the top 3 AUE places for me , Mostly for the freshest of Food and it's overall Cleanliness. Been there many times in the last 40 years. I've done 2 Thanksgivings there just outstanding . Also you were only few minutes away from Strasburg Railroad
Don't stall around! Once the pandemic is out of our way, get started while you have the health and energy. Travel calls for physical stamina that fades all too soon.
@@keithnichols7926 I've stayed on the road in National Forest & BLM, but Robert hit many of the destinations I would like to see without the constraints of money. Right Keith, I need to get my act together, get back on the road and if I'm not able to get to every National Park go somewhere close enough that's free! Thanks for the pep talk
Hey Robert the next time you go to Atlanta Georgia you have to go to my favorite Cajun restaurant it's called Pappadeaux's. Order the fried Alligator and the blackened Catfish take it from this Cajun it is AMAZING!!

As usual, a great video!! I thought Harper's Ferry was breathtaking, so scenic. I wanted to ask you Robert, are you not a bit scared or intimidated by the fact that with so many strange people in the world, it might be a bit dangerous on hikes by yourself?
Hello Robert, another name is Smorgasbord all you can eat, l think it's Swedish or Dutch I'm so sorry I'm not sure where the name comes from, Thank You 🌻 Australia absolutely loves following you on all your tours, 💜🌻🍀❤️🌺🧡🌹xx

How was the drive down the Pa. Turnpike. Are there steep grades?
Nothing too steep
Most of the PA turnpike is on former railroad right of way, so the grades are gentle. I68, which is an alternate to the south, has much steeper grades.
That spider though
The stats say this was posted 3 hours ago but I saw this a week or so ago. Was this reposted?
