I bought the Wunderlich stand for my R1250RT about 6 weeks ago. On my first attempt to get the bike on the stand I failed miserably (5'9", 72 years) - I kicked the stand to one side and harummphed at another waste of money....a couple of weeks ago I thought I'd try again, this time emptying the top case before the attempt. To my amazement I succeeded - but then ran into the front wheel problem plus the castors just scraping across my painted concrete floor rather than rotating. Wish I'd seen this video before! Some more DIY to do in the garage now. Thanks Normski - I too thought I was the only one struggling with this 😅
Hi Alan, no you are not the only one. I am also 5’ 9” and 72 in a few weeks. I can do it and for me the front trolley means I can push it right in the corner, which is great. At the moment I am renovating a 1150GS so wheel my RT out each day. I just cannot face putting it in the Wunderlich every day🤷🏼♂️. But when it is on it’s brilliant 🤩. Hope you can follow how to make a front trolley, it is better than I thought, never fails 🤗
@@normski3091 I'm afraid I have "cheated" by buying a cheaper (and smaller) version of the Wunderlich from Amazon - £35. Popped that under the front wheel and it works just fine. The Wunderlich looks like it might be "sagging" a bit under the RT but I'm sure that must be an optical illusion 🤣 The next item on the agenda is to fit a footpeg lowering kit (identical to the Wunderlich one but direct from China 1/3 of the Nippy's price - even comes with the same instructions!). This is necessary because I struggle to get my toe under the gear shift in my new boots and as far as I can see the RT gear shift is not on a spline, so I can't adjust it further than the "rod", which is not enough. Is there a "knack" to gear shifting in adventure boots (or indeed any which have a toe box) which I haven't sussed after 50 years of riding, or is it that my ankles don't bend that way? My feet are only size 8, how to folk with size 12s manage?
That’s good news Alan as the Perspex one I made cost more, so well done. A few have asked whether I can make them one like mine, but the materials and time make it too expensive, so I have to explain why I cannot help them. You finding one is brilliant. It is often worth looking around, as you have done, and you find better prices 🤗
Norman, thank you for your video. The correct way to put a bike on the center stand is to press it down with your right foot while the bike is resting on the side stand. When the left side of the center stand contacts the floor, then push the bike slightly away from you until both legs of the center stand contact the ground. Now press down hard using all your body weight. With my GSA, using my right hand I grip a strut from the baggage rack and pull it upward. I do this in one motion by pressing my right foot down and pulling on the strut. It is still hard to do especially when I have full baggage mounted. I’ll be forthright with you. I don't like this Wunderlich dolly, but I want to congratulate you for the front wheel dolly you made. A few weeks ago I received a dolly set from Dynamoto from Australia and I like it very much. It is very safe to install and at no time I feel my bike could drop away from me. Their design is very clever. I live in southern California, and I received the dolly set within 10 days after ordering it online. It was airshipped with Qantas from Brisbane to LAX in ~ 14 hours, stayed 3 days at LAX airport to clear US customs, and one day to reach my house in San Clemente. The set (rear and front dollies) cost me US$ 598.50 + US$ 85.00 for a grand total of US$ 638.50. So far the US Customs didn’t send me a bill so I guess it’s tax free. I understand it is quite a bit more expensive than the Wunderlich offering, but for me there is no comparison between the two.
Brilliant Star, I also have started to hate the Wunderlich Easy Park because I just cannot use it on my new 1250GS...I cannot even get the GS on it’s centre stand on my flat garage. There are now four of us who cannot get the new GS’s on the stands and we have all had GS’s before with no issues. Only possible way I can get my bike on its stand is to put the back wheel on a 1” plank of wood. Then I do exactly as you describe and it just goes up😫
@@normski3091 One thing that can help is to wear strong shoes, and not try to do it with tennis shoes. Every time I put the bike on the center stand, whenever it's after riding or because I need to move the bike I always wear my SIDI adventure boots.
You must be an engineer. Always making things harder than they have to be in some ingenious way. For $123 at harbor frieght you can buy a motorcycle dolly. A narrow tray on casters that the whole bike will roll up on. No need to jostle the bike around with the center stand. I am vertically challenged and have given up using my goldwings centerstand except in extreme cases. This dolly makes it easy to move the bike around. There is a tray on the left side for the side stand .
So pleased you liked the video. The hardest part is lifting the bike onto the centre stand. Putting your adjustable suspension on the highest setting helps🤩
I have a 2002 Goldwing. I am 5’11” and 185 lbs. I was having a devil of a time getting the bike onto my Park n Move. The wood under the rear tire made all of the difference. I saw a comment about rolling the front tire onto a 1/2” piece of wood. I’ll try that next. Thanks for the great ideas.
Hi Tom, I must admit that I cannot even get my new 1250GS onto it's centre stand without a piece of wood under the back wheel. Dare not try the Easy Park as I think I will drop the bike. Easy Park is the worst name ever!
Norman: Hello from Canada! Many, many thanks for video-documenting your approach to putting your BMW bike on the "Wunderlich" dolly. I have the same stand, though made by "ConStands," and it's a "bear" to put my 2013 Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 on - the effort required is substantial! Happily, your method of adding a block under the rear tire prior to using the dolly has solved my trouble! I also place a same-height block under my side-stand to prevent the machine from over-leaning. It's a safety thing. Your other suggestion to use a mini-dolly under the front tire is similarly brilliant, though I've opted to use a small furniture-move tri-dolly instead of building one like yours. It's 12" wide, is cupped in the center and the bottom is about 1/2" off the ground, which allows me to slide it under the front tire without trouble. With everything in position, it's effortless to turn the bike 180 degrees (to drive it out from its storage shed) or move it from side-to-side. Awesome, and such a relief! Well done!
This is one of the best TH-cam videos I have seen. Answered all the problems I was having only thing is my floor is rubber matting which means it doesn’t glide like that but this has made things so much better. Thanks
Hi Andrew, I am so pleased it has helped. Not always easy to lift it up on the centre stand, think some develop better methods than I have, or are just stronger. But when it is on the Easy Park it is such a joy to just spin it around wherever you want🤗
Thanks Norman . Think most people will find a GS is slightly harder to get on the centre stand, but if you're struggling, run the front wheel on to a piece of 1/2" chipboard or something before putting the centre stand down. Makes it a doddle ( but remove the wood once its up on its stand . ) Cheers Roj
You score 10/10 again Norman. Your trolley's movement seems so much more fluid than the Wunderlich. I am surprised you did not make your own centre trolley. Hats of to you.
Hi Ralph, I could not lift my 1250GS even on the Wunderlich. Now I have a Goldwing so admitted defeat and put it on eBay. A military man full of muscles rushed down to buy it🤗
Thank you. You are one in a million. Great job. Looking forward to finding right dolly for my 2000 Triumph Thunderbird. She got heavier over 24 years. 😮
My experience using the Easy Park is exactly the same as yours - after a long day riding the last thing you need is to struggle (even more than usual) to get the bike on the centre stand. For moving the front end around (side to side) I adopt the lean on the back approach - not very sophisticated but it works ok.
Brill video , reference putting it on the main stand, I think you must trust yourself to get your weight over the bike , to get it on the main stand , when the right side of the stand is touching it won't fall over 👍
Sometimes its a defo knack getting bike on a centre stand.I once pulled up at work on my 250 Honda and heaved the bike onto the centre stand in the works bike park shed .One of my buddies ( big heavy built guy ) said to me jeez u made hard work of getting that on the stand ( I am prob half his weight and size) I said ok u try it .Well it was hilarious as he could not get it up on the centre stnd and all he succeeded in doing was drag the bike back wards. He had to give up in the end as its not all about strength .Its also the co ordination between foot on stand and yank back and up . He could not believe he could not do it .lol
That is so good John, thank you for sharing. Yes you are right it is a real knack. I have booked the BMW Off Road Level One course in Wales in July just to help me and boost my confidence😅
Normski, when taking your bike off its centre stand put your right foot on the tab rather than your left, that way you will be more planted and you can control the stand so it doesn't bang up against the underside of the bike.
A completely brilliant idea, I'm going to try and make one myself but from timber. Should be fine as it doesn't take a lot of weight. You should sell them if you had the time. Thank you
The problem with this stand is the platform height. The rear wheel needs to be off the ground in order to move the bike around. You shouldn't need to build anything to raise front wheel also. I have a similar designed product that once on center stand the bike moves 360* any direction. I couldn't make a comment on my own so tagged onto yours👍
Interesting video. I have a VFR and restricted space... tbh I'm thinking of just getting a CRF300 Rally, 153kg, enough poke, fairing, screen, 90 mpg, easy filtering, off road, comfy upright riding position. Fed up with big cumbersome bikes 😅
Very interesting, I wonder if the centre of gravity on the centre stand is in the right place. Perhaps the centre stand foot lever is preventing the stand from being placed farther back on the trolley. I do like your solution, nice one.
Hi Wallace, thank you for your comments. I must admit that is not easy to get your bike on the centre stand on the Wunderlich metal trolley. When I come back from a long ride I just do not have the strength to lift the bike on the Wunderlich, even with the wooden block lifting the back wheel😱. The front acrylic trolley I made just slips under the front wheel. A friend with a GSA has just told me he cannot put his bike on the centre stand unless he puts the suspension in the lowest position…never thought of that🤦♂️
Have a similar dolly and being 70, 5ft 11 3/4 and shrinking, it's an increasingly redundant piece of kit. The castors catch on the joins on flagstones and I've managed to tip bike over once. The bits of wood, front and rear skip off into the distance when the wheels push them away rather than ride up on. Discussed options, modify or go upmarket £££ with my local bike fixer. Handy hint from bystander there -- get front tire near where you want to be and then put rear tyre on the dolly, some success but is still a faff. Dynamoto got me excited but they say wouldn't work with my shaft drive. Going to have to get some of them amazonian castors
Hi Eugene, thank you very much for your comments. I bought a 1250GS a year ago and never managed to put it even onto its centre stand until the last few weeks. Only by switching the suspension from minimum to maximum which raises the GS a couple of inches, then with every ounce of strength and heavy boots could I just get the bike on the centre stand. Never in a million years did I ever think of trying to put it on the Wunderlich Impossible Park. I am 73 and only 5’ 8” and probably now more like 5’ 6”🥵. If you watch my latest videos I have just changed bikes to the massive 350kilo GoldWing Bagger. Cannot believe it but I can so easily put the bike on the centre stand😃. Thought I would sell the Wunderlich but maybe I will try it first…watch this space!. What staggers me is that this video has had over 40,000 views😵💫. Normally I get a few hundred😭
To raise the back wheel you could put a bigger piece of MDF ( wider and taller) and then place it in front of the back wheel. You could even climb the piece of MDF with the engine help, It should be easier than pulling the bike backwards
You are absolutely right Rocky. Bikes always seem to get heavier as I get older so even harder a year or so on. I have sold the Easy Park to an ex military tough guy who I doubt will have any issues. I have a Goldwing now so just switch it into reverse to get it out of the garage… good job to as I could never lift the Goldwing in a million years🤣🤣
I had the same problem with my Thruxton. I use a paving brick to lift the rear tyre. Still a struggle though. Bad design. I'm going to buy a scissor lift to use in conjunction with it and take my centre stand off.
Ive watched some videos of experienced riders that have owned all kinds of motorcycles and they say that when you go to the biggest and heaviest motorcycles the experience becomes unpleasant, problematic and it gets to a point you just cant be bothered to ride them and the BMW R1250 GS is definitely a huge heavy motorcycle.
@@normski3091 I will watch your new videos, im a new rider and i own a Royal Enfield Classic 500 which is around 200kg and in certain situation it already feels quit heavy so im getting a dolly for it to move easily inside the garage.
Hi Wallace, thank you probably more warts. Two years ago I bought a new 1250GS and never ever managed to get it on the ‘not so easy’ mover😢. Actually I never managed to get it on the centre stand on the garage floor😂😱. So I have a Goldwing now and never even tried, it has reverse and forward crawl so no needed. Sold it a military guy with better muscles than me 😮
My 1500 Goldwing was a hell of a lot easier to get onto the centre stand that my GS1200 Adventure. I am 5ft 7in -ish. I bet you would have a market for those front wheel dollies. A great video. Thanks.
Hola. Podeis comprobarlo. Un saludo.
another good one. Ive got same problem. only 5 foot 7. with 4 bikes in garage. Its a pain moving and turning main one round so it can be riden out. My Gs I lean on the rear carrier and turn bike on its main stand. only problem is i have to lean bike a bit. stand digs into the concrete floor. Ive got two machine mart car moving dollies. the red ones. on castors but i dont think they have wheel locks. Ill be trying to do the same as you. Main stand on one. Front wheel on the other. Then see if it works.
Well I haven’t used mine for 2-3 years because do not have the strength to get the GS on, let alone a Goldwing. Thought I would put it on eBay but there was one last week starting at £25 and not a bid😱
@@normski3091 I must have missed that advert. I would have bid. I constantly look at touratech. Wunderlich and rugged roads items. I just last week got a black frame. Attached folding to handle. To help me pull mine back onto main. My old R115O RT had great built in handle. I would have thought all Gs would have one too. Let me know a price. Im off work next week. I could call collect. Pay and get you that coffee. Just give me an idea what you want for it. Regards Ricky
Hi Ricky, The eBay ad is still live but although starting at £25 he has a Buy it Now of £100, you may be able to find it, just type in Wunderlich Easy Park and this is it: Wunderlich Easy Park Large motorcycle trolley stand Condition: UsedUsed Time left: 3h 31m|Today 11:25 Current bid: £25.00 I would sell mine for £60.00 including the front trolley I made that you see on my TH-cam. Think I could use it for the Goldwing but with reverse and forward doubt whether I ever will. Not desperate but if you are interested a coffee will be waiting.
www.nippynormans.com/k1600gtgtlsportbaggerga/wunderlich-easy-park-large-version-black Hi Luca, here is the link for the Easy Park from the UK Wunderlich dealer Nippy Normans. Hope that helps🤗
Good video - hadnt thought of making my own front dolly, but I guess a cheaper ebay lighter weight one may work as well as fabricating my own. One other question though ... where did you purchase your garage floor matting. It looks solid and neither bike side/main or casters dig in - cheers.
Hi David., I cannot remember the name of the original supplier but I needed quite a few more to complete the middle section and was delighted that Screwfix supplied the exact tiles. That was about 4 years ago though. Must rush, just leaving for Skye on the bike😎
What if you made a stronger version of the front dolly to fit the back wheel? Linked with a piece of bar to the front one and roll both wheels on rather than struggle with the centre stand. Then each wheel is independent and will move in any direction.
@@MillfieldWheels Hi Ian, yes I did look at that but I really wanted the bike upright on the Centre Stand so I could work on it either side with no issues.....
When I put the bike on the center-stand, I'm able to push down on the back and the front tire lifts up. Why can't you do the same thing and move it around by pushing on the back?
@@artiecisneros4691 oh if it was only that easy my friend…when you are in your mid 70’s🤣. Could not get my current bike on the Easy/Hard Park so sold it on eBay…to a tough military body guard😵💫
Hi Chris, I cannot remember the original company I bought them from but when I needed extra ones then Screwfix in the UK sold them🤗. Just looked at Screwfix website and they still do similar interlocking tiles 7mm thick. This is copied from Screwfix: GARAGE FLOOR TILE COMPANY X JOINT SINGLE GARAGE INTERLOCKING FLOOR TILE PACK BLUE / GRAPHITE 13M² 57 PIECES (875RV)
@@normski3091 Thank you for replying with the info, much appreciated and found them on Screwfix. All going well will be picking up an RT at the weekend so will have a go at making a front wheel adapter like yours. Great video by the way. Was impressed how solid the flooring looks from your video. Cheers
I've just bought the larger version of this for my 23 GSA. It's black and although well made the plate the material used is barely up to the job, it twists and flexes under the weight of the bike a fair bit giving you the felling of instability. My garage floor is matted with quality solid PVC tiles which are smooth, anything but smooth, anything other and it's not going to be easy. Because of the instability on anything other than a smooth floor, I think there's a risk of the bike possibly tipping over. I've got another dolly from a another manufacturer and the plate the Wunderlich is made of is a good few mm thinner. Sadly this latter version doesn't have the off set back wheel and the stand interferes with the frame and can't be fully deployed. At £169 it's not value for money, more evidence of cost cutting to protect profit margins!
Hi Gundimuck, I never had any issue with the thickness of the plate, maybe they have changed it, and once I managed to get my RT on the Easy Park then all was well. Just that it needed so much effort to operate the centre stand I normally gave up exhausted. Then I changed my bike to the 1250GS…no chance. For a start I could hardly ever get the GS on its centre stand anyway so just impossible to get it on the Wunderlich 🥵. I too was worried sick that the GS would tip over. So I put it on eBay and so relieved that I never have to think about it again. A muscular ex soldier bought it😮
@@normski3091 Yes I think they've changed the spec of the plate used, or changed supplier, as mentioned to increase profits. Mine was in a box marked very clearly on the sides with "Bike It" with just a printed sticker naming Wonderlich. I assume from that it's bought in and relabeled. Wether that is Wonderlich or Nippy Normans doing that I've no idea. I have personally have no issues with getting the bike on the stand, just that it's not as stable as it should be. I don't think it will fall off on smooth surfaces. Just feels unstable as you pull/push the bike. It could well be a different story on anything but smooth surfaces.
I bought same one of ebay for £84 slightly lower quality castors shipped, never used nippy double price Norman's yet, though they have neat stuff, though a lot is on ebay for half the price I too was disappointed as front wheel does not lift, but I put mine up OK without locking castors not very easy though.
Aha....then life is a lot easier. Lifting the RT onto the center stand is just so hard, I almost only use it in the garage. When it has full panniers, no chance!
I have a much lighter R65 and am 6'3". The foot tab on mine is for dropping the stand, then you move your toe onto the bung at the back of the stand tail. The foot tab is not designed like yours to be pressed on hard. On level ground, simples. On a slight hump or using these movers, you cannot get your toe in to get on the bung. Even with slippers on! I do use my mover, but have to pirouette the bike up on side of the stand, kick the edge of the mover under, then pirouette again. It will end in tears one day. That 15mm makes all the difference (in a bad way). Also, the four double castors only have M8 centre bolts and all four have gone wonky already. One has stripped. Good idea in theory, but not universal.
I understand what you say. Every time I finish a ride I just cannot face all the effort of putting it on the ‘Easy Park’. It should be called the ‘Impossible Park’. I also feel that one day I am going to drop the bike😱. However I am in the middle of restoring a 2003 1150GS and the ‘Impossible Park’ is really coming into use. I can push the bike into the corner up to a mm from the walls and just pull it out when I need to reach something. Now I am calling it ‘Wonder Park’....just for this project though 🥳😱🤣

Hi Paul, thank you for your comment about the Wunderlich trolley lift. Would you believe it but a subscriber came last week and bought my trolley and the front wheel one I made😳. Thank you Manuel, wish I could get my new 1250GS onto the Easy Park but I cannot even put it on its centre stand🤷♂️😱. I know four of us who cannot do this basic thing and BMW have no answer🥵
Would it not be easier if you put the wood under the front wheel instead of the back? ……….putting a bike on a stand when facing uphill is always much easier
Worth a try Steve and what you say makes sense. However it is the back you need to lift first to even start with the centre stand rising....but I will give it a go. Thank you. 👍

Well done!
Hi Eric, so great to hear from you and thank you for your comments. I am so pleased it helped you, even a little bit. 🤗
Makes it a doddle ( but remove the wood once its up on its stand . )
Cheers Roj
Brilliant!!!!! You've done it again, Norm!!!!
You score 10/10 again Norman. Your trolley's movement seems so much more fluid than the Wunderlich. I am surprised you did not make your own centre trolley. Hats of to you.
Well I thought about that but the materials cost almost the same. Mass production always wins 🤦♂️
Your videos are excellent. I struggled with the design of a rolling plate of sorts for the the rear wheel of my GSA and finally gave up.
Yes skycap I have also noticed that bikes are difinitely getting heavier in line with me getting older 🤣
Quite ingenious - well done and thank you for sharing
My experience using the Easy Park is exactly the same as yours - after a long day riding the last thing you need is to struggle (even more than usual) to get the bike on the centre stand. For moving the front end around (side to side) I adopt the lean on the back approach - not very sophisticated but it works ok.
Thank you Robert…thought I was too weak. It is so hard that most times I don’t bother😰
Excellent ingenuity! Well done
To move the front wheel for parking just lift the front wheel and push to one side.
Don't lock the Easy Park wheels and allow it to roll forward as you lift the bike on to the center stand. I'm 5'5 130lb and can do this solo.
That’s really useful Frank, thank you I will try that 🤗
A completely brilliant idea, I'm going to try and make one myself but from timber.
Hi Danny, couldn’t agree with you more🤗. I cannot get my 1250GS on the Wunderlich easypark whatever I try. 🤷
A friend with a GSA has just told me he cannot put his bike on the centre stand unless he puts the suspension in the lowest position…never thought of that🤦♂️
Brilliant chap
Normally I get a few hundred😭
good idea, thanks for sharing
To raise the back wheel you could put a bigger piece of MDF ( wider and taller) and then place it in front of the back wheel. You could even climb the piece of MDF with the engine help, It should be easier than pulling the bike backwards
You are absolutely right Rocky. Bikes always seem to get heavier as I get older so even harder a year or so on. I have sold the Easy Park to an ex military tough guy who I doubt will have any issues. I have a Goldwing now so just switch it into reverse to get it out of the garage… good job to as I could never lift the Goldwing in a million years🤣🤣
Unlock the wheels of the easy park and It will be much easier…
I had the same problem with my Thruxton.
I use a paving brick to lift the rear tyre. Still a struggle though. Bad design.
I'm going to buy a scissor lift to use in conjunction with it and take my centre stand off.
A company makes that type design. For Cruisers. Park n Move with scissor jack.
Hi Hugo, totally agree and that's why at 73 I have just changed my 1250GS...now so much easier🤣🤣. You will have to watch My new bike!
@@normski3091 I will watch your new videos, im a new rider and i own a Royal Enfield Classic 500 which is around 200kg and in certain situation it already feels quit heavy so im getting a dolly for it to move easily inside the garage.
A refreshing warts and all review
Hi Wallace, thank you probably more warts. Two years ago I bought a new 1250GS and never ever managed to get it on the ‘not so easy’ mover😢. Actually I never managed to get it on the centre stand on the garage floor😂😱. So I have a Goldwing now and never even tried, it has reverse and forward crawl so no needed.
Sold it a military guy with better muscles than me 😮
Excellent video, thank you!
My 1500 Goldwing was a hell of a lot easier to get onto the centre stand that my GS1200 Adventure. I am 5ft 7in -ish. I bet you would have a market for those front wheel dollies. A great video. Thanks.
Hola.
Podeis comprobarlo.
Un saludo.
Hi Diego, you are 100% correct. Very good advice 😊
Great thinking, maybe you could sell the idea to the company you bought the metal one off!!👍
Now that is a good idea….somehow I guess they will not listen 🤷🏼♂️
Push the back end down so it ballances just on the stand
Fantastic video, thank you very much
Pleased you liked it!
another good one.
@@normski3091
I must have missed that advert.
Regards
Ricky
Hi Ricky, The eBay ad is still live but although starting at £25 he has a Buy it Now of £100, you may be able to find it, just type in Wunderlich Easy Park and this is it: Wunderlich Easy Park Large motorcycle trolley stand
Condition:
UsedUsed
Time left:
3h 31m|Today 11:25
Current bid:
£25.00
I would sell mine for £60.00 including the front trolley I made that you see on my TH-cam. Think I could use it for the Goldwing but with reverse and forward doubt whether I ever will. Not desperate but if you are interested a coffee will be waiting.
Compliments!! do you have the link where buy your central stand? thank you in advance
www.nippynormans.com/k1600gtgtlsportbaggerga/wunderlich-easy-park-large-version-black
Hi Luca, here is the link for the Easy Park from the UK Wunderlich dealer Nippy Normans. Hope that helps🤗
Thanks for this easy way - thanks a lot
Pleased it has helped Gerhard. I have changed to a 1250GS and just cannot get it on the centre stand on the Wunderlick Easy Park🙃
Thanks uncle love it !
I always pop mine in 1st gear before dropping it off the main stand. Stops it running off 😃😃
Good idea Tony🤗
What if you made a stronger version of the front dolly to fit the back wheel? Linked with a piece of bar to the front one and roll both wheels on rather than struggle with the centre stand. Then each wheel is independent and will move in any direction.
What an idea.....but that would not be acrylic ......😳
@@normski3091 check out Sealey bike trolly.
@normski3091 Bit late to the party on this one, but can you give any details on the flooring you're using in your garage? Regards
Hi Chris, I cannot remember the original company I bought them from but when I needed extra ones then Screwfix in the UK sold them🤗. Just looked at Screwfix website and they still do similar interlocking tiles 7mm thick. This is copied from Screwfix:
GARAGE FLOOR TILE COMPANY X JOINT SINGLE GARAGE INTERLOCKING FLOOR TILE PACK BLUE / GRAPHITE 13M² 57 PIECES (875RV)
La traduction est approximative. Il s'agit de motos et non de vélos ! How to leave this trolley in order to start the moto bike? Easy?
Yes you are right …but a bicycle is just so much easier to move around 😅
I bought same one of ebay for £84 slightly lower quality castors shipped, never used nippy double price Norman's yet, though they have neat stuff, though a lot is on ebay for half the price I too was disappointed as front wheel does not lift, but I put mine up OK without locking castors not very easy though.
What if your bike doesn't have a center stand like my Harley or triumph rocket three ?
Now I am calling it ‘Wonder Park’....just for this project though 🥳😱🤣
sheer genius!
Just push down the rear wheel. You don't need the aditional thing.
HELLO NORMAN, VERY GOOD VIDEO ON INGENIOUS LIFT TROLLY FOR BMW RT BIKE ( i have same bike ) TO raise bike off ground and spin it around. ( AT 65 YEARS OLD I STRUGGLE TOO )
would you consider manufacturing the same front wheel trolly again for a order off me to pay you for all parts, your time involved and either postage or we could collect at location off your choice. we travel around the uk motorhome camping trips. would send you email for more information thanks NORMAN, regards PAUL
Hi Paul, thank you for your comment about the Wunderlich trolley lift. Would you believe it but a subscriber came last week and bought my trolley and the front wheel one I made😳. I have a GoldWing now and I never managed to get my 1250GS on the trolley so the 350kilo Goldwing not a chance…beside with forward crawl and reverse I can move it around, a bit anyway.
When I first came up with the design for the front wheel trolley I thought I could make these for others. Wunderlich do not mention that the front wheel is still on the ground🥵. Anyway after making it out of acrylic and the stainless bolts, time etc, I realised it was just too expensive costing almost the same as the Wunderlich.
However I think I might have a solution😳. Bear with me for a week or two. Here is my email: mrnormanhill@yahoo.co.uk. Drop me an email so we can contact each other privately and let me know roughly where you live in the country. Very best, Norman
And if you roll the back Wheel on to it..? Put it after in 1 gear!!
Perfecto 👌🏼
Genius!
Thank you Manuel, wish I could get my new 1250GS onto the Easy Park but I cannot even put it on its centre stand🤷♂️😱. I know four of us who cannot do this basic thing and BMW have no answer🥵
Get your bird to sit on the back of the seat then put another dolly under the front tire
Hi Paul, yeh that sounds like a good solution 😆
If you put your bmw on the high it goes you don't need the peace of wood
Yes that sometimes works, but not for my GS 🤷🏼♂️
Would it not be easier if you put the wood under the front wheel instead of the back? ……….putting a bike on a stand when facing uphill is always much easier
Worth a try Steve and what you say makes sense. However it is the back you need to lift first to even start with the centre stand rising....but I will give it a go. Thank you. 👍
Leave brakes off it is easier.
At some time in your life you're going to have to realize that you are now officially a 'geezer' and smaller lighter bikes are in your future.....😊
Hi Graham, absolutely. I have just done the amazing BMW off road school in Wales. Came off 5 times 😵💫. Now my beloved 1250GS has gone as in a heart to heart my wife told me that she hates riding pillion on the GS. So what do I do😱. Now maybe the time for a light nimble machine. Watch out for the next video😫
@@normski3091 Sorry to hear mate. You certainly got me thinking. Im now 70 and a geezer but I ride a R100RT and its starting to get heavy. Bad design, go with Dynamoto.
I've looked at these and they are brilliant - problem is no retailer in the UK although available at a (high) price from Poland, I think.
I had to purchase them from Australia, I live in the United States. They got to me really fast. I recently added a sidecar to my r1250 GSA so I went with three universal fronts. They are well made and work flawlessly. Even on rough surfaces.
Terrible! You need all the strength of the Hulk ! 😳 Wunderlich Easy Park 👎
Hi Massimo...you certainly do, BMW should make and electric lifting device to put the bike on the centre stand! It will only add, probably £10,000 to each bike!
