I have over 40 years experience of home motorcycle maintenance and when removing the rear wheel I put the front wheel in a choc to hold the bike upright, then use a scissor lift to raise the rear end of the bike - it is much more stable than just lifting the bike with a dolly or jack. Removing the front wheel is similar - bike in gear to stop it rolling, scissor lift under the front on the frame and the bike stands upright until you lift the front wheel just clear of the ground. I always loosen the fasteners I am going to remove BEFORE lifting the bike, remember :- TWO POINTS OF CONTACT WITH THE GROUND IS SAFER !
Agree 100%!!!. Very few of these guys after assembling and using their 'brand new lift' will tell you how they had to pick their bike up off the floor after it has slipped off the lift and crashed onto the concrete after just barely turning a wrench on it.
This is what I love about your channel! You give real world reviews of products. I'm looking forward to the tire change and any updates on the lift. I've been using my Craftman's motorcycle lift since 2008 and been very happy with it. I would love to change over to the Let's Roll lift, but I've very limited on storage space in my garage.
Thanks, I appreciate that. I will say it doesn't take up much more space than the traditional motorcycle jacks. I would say the footprint is pretty similar to the Harbor Freight jack I have in the garage.
Actually bought one of these ! Except you’ll have a problem if you’re riding a HD Sportster because of the sportster’s shorter frame. And did purchase an Indian motorcycle adapter which does work somewhat better. Would certainly appreciate Lets Roll to design and market a lift for shorter frames, maybe someday ? Mid year 2023 ! Don’t get me wrong, these are the best lifts on the market !!!
Nice. I don't have a motorcycle jack of my own but have borrowed friends and always felt extremely nervous with the wobble which is why I never bought one of my own. Thanks! Looking forward to seeing the tie change. I almost crapped my pants taking off a back tire on motorcycle jack.
Yeah I was really shocked to see the MANY accusations around people placing orders pushing $1,000 and having nothing shipped for many many months and getting nothing in terms of communications and having to call their credit card companies to dispute charges. Just sucks to hear that kind of nonsense.
I've seen quite a few youtube creators get these for sponsored reviews, but haven't seen any long term reviews. Hopefully you give a long term year review
I noticed in your recent motorcycle riding videos that you are using the Shoei RF-1400 (which you've stated is your favorite). I've been considering getting the Atlas 4.0. Do you still have a good review on that helmet since you've had it a while?
If you're open to suggestion how about contacting Hogworks about their hard bag setup for softail. Your review would help convince us to purchase and also test how easy it would be for a tool noob to install something like their offerings. Surely you could use some more storage, and we could use an honest review. Good luck and get out of the garage. I just saw what temps are in Arizona....crazy!!
Great review and product-I am balking at the price, which would be helpful for you to mention in the vid...I may be able to find a product that is cheaper and allows me to move my bike around the garage for less that $629 plus shipping I presume...
Thanks. I don’t mention prices in videos because price change over time then people complain when the prices aren’t accurate. Just easier to let people look up prices at the time they watch the video.
nice lift but there's not a snowballs chance in hell I'd pay what they want for that. I'll go to a local metal fabricator and get something similar(with a bit of work of my own to do) for WAY WAY less. When they decide to charge for what it's worth(including their deserved labor, design, ect) then I'd consider it.

@@GearsGadgets thanks for letting me know about the size difference between the two jacks.

That is one great lift/ dolly…. Quality will always prevail. The sweetness of low price will never over come the bitterness of poor quality.🙂
1000% agree, There is a time and a place for cheaply made "throwaway" tools but a motorcycle lift is NOT one of those times and places.

Nice video might pick one of these up in the spring
I bought a J/S Jack 3 or 4 years ago and it is a great jack. It is a shame what happened to them

Bro u always do amazing videos breaking everything down to the T. 🤙🏾👊🏾
Nice. I bought the Big red lift; have not used it yet.
By the way what kind of shoes are those?
Always great content
Thank you!!

Nice Lift and Dolly combo

That’s bad ass hopping on the bike while on the lift. 💪🏾
Would this work for oil changes?....i want something safe for my husband
Now I want one! Great review ✌️
I have a 2018 Yamaha Bolt and the kickstand side is only 3.5" from the ground. The Let's Roll needs 3.85" of space.
Man I’ve been seeing let’s roll a lot lately. Looks like a built tough beast of a product.

Good video; just wish you'd included pricing.
You wearing Hokas Bro? 💪🏾
What brand is this
still the best motorcycle dolly / lift
I agree.
Great share Fam 🤙🏾
I've never heard of Let's Roll lifts. It sure looks like a great choice.
This is the jack I am getting.
You won't regret it

Their site keeps triggering my security program due to phishing.
WHAT! I don't get that on my end. Anyone else experiencing that as well?
@@GearsGadgets This is what I get when I pull up their site. I was trying to see how much that rig costs.
Nice Motorcycle Dolly👍😊
Glad that they offer an adapter for Indians!!
