    You're too worried about CO2 to see the problem of electric vehicles. The battery problem was even brought up by one of the interviews, but that got edited quick. Oof.

      So lets keep burning oil. That's worked out just fine.
      As usual the pro oil crew ignore the battery free options. Just keep your head in the sand and suffocate all of us.

    You do realise the impact on enviromment of producing an E vehicle. It has massive bad impact and often unspoken about.

    E-fuels + nuclear energy for long flights... or all aircraft, really, as battery-electric aircraft aren't likely to ever be viable.

    • @williamhilbert8324
      @williamhilbert8324 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't think the nuclear aircraft are feasonable either due to reactor weights but alternative fuels are the future

      @@williamhilbert8324 I mean nuclear energy for the production of e-fuels. Nuclear aircraft are definitely not feasible.

    A good documentary. I was on board with you until you said "flying is simply too cheap!" (43:03) What if the only way for you to provide a decent future for your kids was to live far away from them, and the only way to see them was to fly? That is the case for MILLIONS of people all over the world. As long as you cannot guarantee raising the standard of living and purchasing power of potential passengers, passing the cost to the customers cannot be the solution, especially whilst the all the corporations seen here are vigilantly protecting their profit margins.

    Great solution - stay grounded. We could all save a lot doing business electronically & working at home, reducing consumption and needs. Let competition rule and we'll all eventually get there if some other disaster doesn't get us first.

    I have never seen a doco full of so many contradictions. Thats the problem with enviromentiulist in general anyway. they mean well. but they are so narrow minded. they dont want to understand the bigger picture. Most of the things you say actually answers your questions, and proves why what your saying does not make sense in anyway.

    All change starts with the individual, that's the way to improve our climate and natural environment.
    "He who reforms himself, reforms the world." So goes a wise saying.
    As long as selfishness and greed is encouraged by stressing economic growth and profit margins, we will not improve the quality of life around the world.
    Selfishness and greed can only be remedied by practicing self-control. Until governments revert to Natural Law system of governance (subsistence economy), and self-control is rewarded, any secular attempt devoid of moral behaviour will not bring beneficial improvement in our living conditions. And to believe so is arrogant folly.
    "Simple living, high thinking" should be the mantra if we desire to see a better future for mother earth and her children.

    Many people watch shows like this on their phones. Phones are relatively small. Look at the subtitles used here. Too small. How about stinging for a translator next time.

    An excellent film! Halfway through I thought passengers should be paying a lot more for the privilege of flying. Travel to foreign lands should be a luxury- it is not essential to one's life.

    One who talks about environmental problems is the one whom polluted the environment most.
