The first game of enlisted I joined:
Ran over by a tank, switched to a different soldier, my entire squad got kamikazied by someone running at us with a grenade, respawned and got hit by a plane directly, the one guy that survived then took an artillery shell to the face.

ugh howwww. I picked it up because of this video and I wanted to like it so bad but the progression is ridiculously complicated. There are 6 campaigns all with different maps. Each campaign has two factions which track progression separately. Each level unlocks a weapon or vehicle, but you don't actually get that weapon until you buy them ONE at a time using "orders" earned from daily challenges. Then you can give it to one soldier in one out of four squads.
Why is it so complex? And the grind is looooong.

I have been playing for awhile and I can add somethings:
The radio operator is fantastic as an attachment to the squad, spawn it, lay low for 30 seconds so he doesn't get dropped early, call in artillery where the enemy such as on the objective then keep moving, results will vary as the starting of D-Day is nearly impossible to do any real damage to the german bunkers.
The best grenade imo is the explosive bundle as it can kill or damage tanks and can be cooked before throwing, letting every man become an ambush anti-tank soldier/sucide bomber.
Having all the ai squad members means it is likely critical members of the squad will get dropped crossing areas that you made it through.

Finally got the game, and, a little tip for anyone else planning on getting it, you start out with very high sens. At least on ps4. And it takes forever to update. I’m still waiting, 77%, and watched like, 5 25 min videos. Also, scoped rifles, the best. That is where most of my kills come from.
I tried this game out today, last game I played I was in a tank and managed to take out the entire crew of another Tank in one shot, while I may never feel this feeling again I will forever treasure it
