My mate raced motorcycles for over 10 years and always got nervous before a race. Laura Kenny is known to be physically sick before racing. You overcame your nerves as always Amy and gave it your best shot, that always deserves full respect.

I can remember this place Kyle stood for ages without food 🤣on security. Even if you came last in the previous race you did a wonderful job by just presenting yourself for the challenge. Well done girl you did great today. tomorrow I have a 158-mile ride wish me luck.
Nice one Amy. What is a CRIT race. Do you ride round for 45mins and then when that happens thats the last lap. Couldn't get any info from that link. Looking forward to the gravel ride with Jon. Hope the rain holds off
Thank you! Yes if the race is 45 minutes they’ll usually estimate the laps based on how quick the group is going for the first few then they put a lap board up so you know how many laps are left, whoever crosses line first on the last lap is the winner 🙌
No need to be nervous talking in front of a camera for the world to see would be more scary for me so being tail end Charlie in a bike race should be OK for you. As it turned out you wasn't last so all is well you had your family and friends with you so all is well take care and stay safe. It's nice to see you again you have a look of your sister bye for now
