The BYD Seal Dynamic model just launched in Malaysia today - 6 September, 2024.
From the outside, the only difference between the Dynamic and the Premium model are size of the rims. The Dynamic gets 18" instead of 19" wheels. It's also available in 2 colours - Cosmos Black and Aurora White. Personally, we prefer the Cosmos Black.
Missing is the HUD unit but it still gets the screen for the meter cluster. Seats are synthetic leather instead of the real thing but comfort remains the same.
The Dynamic is a RWD. It has the same powertrain that drives the Atto 3 SUV and Dolphin Premium ER, with 201 hp (204 PS or 150 kW) and 310 Nm. The Dynamic completes the century sprint in 7.5 seconds.

The Dynamic gets a smaller 61.44 kWh Blade battery compared to its siblings, which provides up to 460 km (WLTP) or 510 km (NEDC) of range.
The Dynamic supports up to 7 kW of AC Type 2 charging, but its smaller capacity battery means it can be juiced up fully in just 8.6 hours. Its maximum rate for DC charging is 110 kW (30-80% SoC in 32 minutes) instead of 150 kW like with its 2 other siblings.
