My teacher in middle school made us do a resume and a cover page for that resume and so much more that I can’t write out (I’m to lazy) Honestly she was one of the best teachers out there since she actually taught us useful stuff
I straight up put my office aid experience in middle school aswell as helping out at a summer camp despite the fact I paid to be there and it worked lol
@Dutchik, the advice I have always heard is that "References on request" is assumed, and you should use that real estate on the resume for something more substantial.
@@lisahines532I highly recommend against that. Getting the interview is always the hardest part and automatically submitting a list of willing and easily contactable job references shows employers you can back up your resume. Save them from asking even if they never contact anyone.
@@lisahines532I automatically attach an additional page with a list of references. Ppl that have already happily agreed to be a reference and can vouch for everything on your resume.
You are a godsend, Decided to start looking for work at 17, Today is my first day job hunting I'll write a resume tomorrow, I've taken a ton of online courses on copywriting and I've even made my own ghostwriting course, Great public speaker. Master of generating creative prompts for ai, And a never ending idea factory.
Dont just put your references on there. Always let people knownfirst and ask. Hell maybe even say "on request" and then when they do, you can give them a heads up again and give the contact info.
Please don’t use this kind of template! I’m not sure what kind of job your applying for but 99% of the time I’ve been told that these kind of templates are no no 😅
About me content is better for a cover letter (CV). Space on a resume is high value real estate, save it for education, work experience, and relevant knowledge/skills. Just my .02
There isn't a listing, my dad needed me to do a resume to help him at his work officially on the payroll. And all my skills are already in education and achievements
I'm living in a foreign country rn (that's where the job is) and I don't know anyone in this country that could be a reference for me that's not a relative, is that gonna be bad for me?
You guys are so helpful to the next generation! This very helpful towards people who don't know how to get a job and level up their wealth.

how did u guys know im literally drafting a resume rn🔥🔥
lucky guess 😅
Don't put stars or progress bars under skills. It just makes employers think about how you don't have great skills for some of them
Also, common advice these days say not to put references on your resume anymore.
@@lisahines532 you can do references. But its vetter to say "on request" as you shouldnt be giving out someones contact info randomly to everyone
