Very cool. You made an effect with the mag echo that sounded exactly like a floyd song ending..great job

I bought mine based on videos like this. Having used it, I can't complain. Little to no insertion loss, no need for a preamp. Plug and play. Slapback to space, it's very nice and pretty close to the EP3 Echoplex.

Nice! i got the Mosky Mag Echo clone.and their Deep Blue Delay clone.as.well. EP Booster clone (XP). All very respectable.

It's good to see a comparison of these units. So the Keeley goes into self-oscillation but the DemonFX doesn't really get there (although I would have liked to see if it could be pushed there if you increased the level at that point). I bought the Mosky version, and that definitely does not go into self-oscillation. I assumed mistakenly it would be the same as the DemonFX but in a different box. At the end of the day, they all sound nice, but the Keeley goes into territory that the supposed clones can't reach.

Keeley goes into self-oscillation and pronto.. Wounder what's the actual difference?

They (Demon FX) probably use a limiting resistor to avoid the oscillations on purpose. These are all PT2399 delays and as such, they all would normally oscillate.

How do people not know how to do pedal shootouts in the 2020s?
You don't set the knobs the same. You adjust for the same sound, no matter where the knobs are 🤦

Why don't you make a video & show us how it's done

I Agree though, there are better ways of cloning a pedal without being blatant plagiarism

@@ricardourquiza4255 Perhaps you're unaware most USA made pedals similarly copy known circuit designs?
Watch a few JHS pedal videos to hear Josh, owner, talk about circuits... there's only so many ways to make a certain sound, you know, without a room full of super computers and endless budget...
