Jacquire, you are my favourite producer. I know you won't read this but anyway... Thank you Andrew and everyone for this interview Gracias desde Colombia
So grateful for all the knowledge shared by Jacquire & Andrew. Both are easily in my top 10 mix engineers that I study anything & everything they are involved in. Thank You. GodBless. ***Mr. Scheps & Puremix please get Bob Power on here.*** =)
This is an excellent discussion with so many important lessons, and some great stories, too. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your experiences and advice.
Everybody and their cousin has a studio in TN. I bought my console from Alan Jackson’s bass player, who had a badass studio in Murfreesboro and was upgrading to an Otari.
At about 49:00 - I've not given much thought over the last forty years as to why the Bauhaus side project Tones On Tail were so called, but if they ever came to mind, I did wonder, and now I know.
Man, I was beginning to work in studios in the mid 2000s but left the field because I hated the attitude of almost everyone around. If there had been professional, intelligent and grounded guys like jacquire, maybe I wouldn't have to start from scratch now being nearly 40...
Man, i also did some decisions and got back to music after many years out of it, the fact that we can now bump music from our rooms is a chance for anyone real.
