Keeley Mag Echo - Tape Delay

  • The Keeley Magnetic Echo is a digital recreation of an old analog Tape delay. It’s delay times range from 40-600 ms and it features the characteristic darker, degrading delay signals. To simulate ‘tape flutter’, Keeley have added a modulation setting, that can be mixed with the delay repeats. The modulation section is the chorus part out of the Keeley Seafoam Chorus and gives you control over speed and depth.
Signal flow is as follows: Fender TC90 with Seymour Duncan Custom P90 in the bridge into a Victory V4 Countess Preamp into the Keeley Mag Echo into my audio interface..

It sounds great, but nothing like a tape delay. This is clearly a bucketmemory delay.

A lot of background hiss. Why?
