Fantastic video and Robert is a wonderful guy and a genius like your father 👨 we are marvelling at him .A wonderful young man 👨.GodBless and Good luck.Blessings to everyone.🍀🍀🍀🍀
What can’t the stewards family, Robert and the rest of the workers not do. From pulling beat one day fixing a tractor the next to even running your own farm shop your one of the hardest working people in county Longford
It's great watching your videos , between father Phil and Robert what can they not fix ,it's great to have that experience and knowledge at your disposal . Keep up the great content.
There’s a good bit of work doing that axle Robert looks young but he’s a skilled mechanic by the looks of him and you are very lucky to have him in your area because lads like him are gone scarce
Have really enjoyed the two videos with Robert working at the 3075 he's a fair hand with the spanners I think he must have been listening to Father Phil for a few years getting the knowledge 😀thank him for doing the videos and tell him we would like to see him in more of yours Phil or he could start his own you tube channel Could be Called mechanical Rob😀👍well done lads
Good video with Robert I noticed that you didn't preload the pinion bearings and the backlash should have been set with a clock gauge failing that it should have been checked with engineers blue for correct mesh all in all a good video
Not simple setting up the crown wheel and pinon tolerances! The height of the pinon and contact patch on the crown wheel when rotated is the important one ! The brass bush in the cradle when fitted is tighter than when measured in your hand and maybe a thou to much on the diff housing! But she'll loosen!
That’s it you really need to paint the teeth and check the contact area setting a diff up properly can take hours then there’s the pre load on the pinion bearings you’d say they were too tight but feel when done as the book says but that’s how they have to be
Phil , Don't know how you kept up with the amount of machinery you have ....Having Robert frees up time for other things thats for sure ... Father would rather tinker with the old stuff anyway .
That Robert fella has some pair of hands on him and he looks very young, fair play to him a genius
