Great video, glad the combine worked out… a bit of a risky purchase, the drama getting it home wasn’t confidence inspiring… but it had the capacity and serviceability needed for harvest 2023.

Massey really were at their peak there in the early 90s. 300 series and 3000 series particularly were well ahead of their time and well after that they really didn’t make the greatest machines for a few years. Sadly I had to go green for contracting but I love my 135 and 390t

When we got finished combining beans we always bailed the stalks for bedding for beef cows and the beans always had to be cooked to burn off oil to grind for feed for beef and pig feed

In my part of the country only colour you saw in the 90s was green the 165s were replaced with 2140 and 2650 deeres a few 390s were around but other then that farm power took over north cork
